Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in San Bernardino

Our stay was phenomenal! The pictures do not do the Airbnb justice - such a beautiful view of the LA skyline and full of natural light. Check in was very easy and the security guard in the building was also very accommodating and helped us with parking instructions provided to us by hosts. The included parking spot was such a perk and reduced so much stress about overnight parking! Amenities such as rooftop pool elevated our experience, and the proximity to many restaurants and night life were appreciated. Place was very clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in the city!

This area is great. So close to restaurants and shopping. Downtown Orange has fabulous restaurants and it’s a great area. My daughter lives out there so I am always excited to go. It’s nice to have a home away from home. Highly recommend.

We LOVED staying at Wendy’s place. It was exactly how it look in the picture but even better. I love that it had a gated parking lot with a designated parking and the neighborhood was safe. It was easy to get in and out. I would definitely book Wendy’s place again! Communication was amazing too!

Felt right at home! Will definitely stay again

We had such a wonderful stay in downtown LA. The apartment was spacious with high ceilings, and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook breakfast each morning. It was clean, beautifully designed, and felt so cozy, especially with the antique lamp casting a warm glow at night. I loved how the city lights reflected into the living room and made the evenings feel magical. The rooftop pool and hot tub had amazing views, and we met some great people there. The building felt very safe with on-site security, which we really appreciated. Ali was a fantastic host. He was super responsive and full of great recommendations. My husband, his cousin, and I all loved it and would definitely stay again.

The apartment is located right in the middle of DTLA, with most major sights within a 20-minute walk. While parts of Broadway and some sections east of it are a bit sketchy, the building itself checks the identity of everyone entering and feels very safe. Parking is in a garage across the street, which also feels safe. The apartment is spacious, with tall ceilings and lots of light. The bedroom isn't fully separate (only a half wall) so it gets light and noise from the main area in the mornings (eye mask and earplugs will be good for the person who sleeps later). The kitchen area is modern, with good counter space and appliances. Giselle and Ali were excellent hosts, very responsive and helpful. They provided lots of local tips and quickly addressed any questions or minor issues.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

We loved staying in this fabulous condo at the iconic Ocotillo Lodge, designed by famed midcentury modern architect William Krisel. Although the once spectacular public rooms at the Lodge are now shuttered, the grounds have been beautifully restored with cactus and succulents, and the large landmark champagne-cork shaped pool is beautifully maintained, serenaded (quietly) through the day with delightful recordings of classic Great American Songbook music of the 50's. The Brite Spot condo itself has been wonderfully decorated with handsome vintage furniture and lighting, a very comfortable bed, and beautiful terrazzo tile floors, and boasts a lovely little courtyard with a great old olive tree that throughout the day hosts various singing desert birds. The Lodge no longer has a working bar or restaurant, but coffee, cocktails, great food, and the sights and attractions of Palm Springs - including Krisel's justly famed Twin Palms community - are all just minutes away.

This was my first time visiting Palm Springs and my stay could not have been better. This unit added so much fun, mid-century charm to my experience with beautiful design and amenities. The little details, like the record player, tiki cup collection, and antique furnishings give this unit a vibe that immediately puts you in a vacation mindset. The building was quiet and peaceful, making for a great respite from adventures downtown. I also appreciated that the location is a bit more off the beaten path, but still walkable to some incredible coffee shops and restaurants. Plus, getting to downtown is a breeze with Ubers/Lyfts taking less than 15 minutes. The cherry on top is the building's pool. It feels like you're lounging on a movie set straight out of the 1950's. We went multiple times a day throughout our trip to swim, sunbathe, and relax. We really appreciated that it wasn't a crowded party area, but rather a peaceful place to lounge. Can't recommend this unit enough!

Shant was a great host, answered messages instantly! His place was perfect for our stay in LA, very spacious and clean and really well appointed! It was great to have a parking space as we had our car and had to drive a lot while we were there. Only hiccup was the parking garage key but we worked around it. Couple things to note, the parking garage is in a different building across the street. And the bedroom is not completely sealed from the rest of the apartment. It was no issue for us but others may want to note.

Very family friendly place to stay! Our daughter loved the big castle in the backyard and our son played NBA jam to his hearts content. There is plenty of room to spread out. We had everything we needed to cook some meals and do laundry during our stay. Only a 20 min drive to Disney and plenty of great parks and playgrounds nearby! Highly recommend!

Great place for a family, lots of space and amenities. Would book it again!

This place was excellent for our family of 7. Everything was as described and Ka always responded to my messages. We were unable to get the fire pit working (User error, I'm sure) but the evening weather was so great, we didn't miss it at all. The pool table was the biggest hit and made every night our perfect wind down activity after our family days out and about the big city. Only negative is the next door neighbors have a dog that woke us up daily around 5am barking for at least an hour straight. Every. Single. Day. But we are early birds so personally, it wasn't the most inconvenient. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for a family member’s graduation and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was exactly as described—immaculately clean, well-designed, and peaceful, with beautifully maintained, private landscaping. It was perfect for a guest in our group with knee issues, thanks to the two ground-floor bedrooms and thoughtful touches like a bench at the entry for the no-shoes policy. The iPad system controls everything from the hot tub to house music, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Lori, the house manager, was exceptional—warm, responsive, and solved a minor lock issue in minutes. The location is excellent: a short walk to coffee, restaurants, and stores, and about 20 minutes on foot to downtown Culver City. Erewhon and many other amenities are located there, and driving to downtown takes just a couple of minutes. We had a great stay and highly recommend this home for anyone visiting LA.

We absolutely loved our stay at this Palm Springs gem! The house was spacious and had everything we needed to cook, relax, or lounge by the pool. The location was perfect, we walked to Bar Cecil and other nearby spots with ease. The outdoor space was a highlight, with tons of seating around a large pool for dining or just hanging out. It was just the two of us, but the home would be perfect for a larger group. The Casita was a great option for anyone wanting extra privacy. Inside, the layout offered multiple cozy areas to unwind, and the TV setup was perfect for ending the day. The bed and bedding were incredibly comfortable, we slept great every night. Dan, the host, was fantastic, communicative, helpful, and made everything easy. We’ve stayed at several places in Palm Springs over the years, and this was by far our favorite. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Great place to relax beautiful view. Everything you need was in the house comfortable included shampoo, conditioner, soap, paper towels, everything we basically needed. We just had to bring her food. Great fireplace a great place to barbecue on the deck. Enjoy the evening with the fire pit.

What a perfect Airbnb. Location was great. Was able to walk for coffee, breakfast and dinners. Also found some great nearby shopping spots. Jean’s home is even better in person, and grows on you as you stay. Was able to relax and feel at home. Will definitely stay again.
