Thank You, Erica! I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful beach house that was arranged for me by Erica, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her exceptional service. From the moment I reached out to her, Erica was incredibly responsive and attentive to my needs. The beach house itself was stunning, spacious, beautifully decorated, and just a 2 minute walk away from the ocean. Erica also provided a wealth of local knowledge, recommending fantastic restaurants, activities, and hidden gems nearby. Her suggestions made my trip even more enjoyable, allowing me to experience the area. I cannot thank Erica enough for her professionalism and service provided . We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! Gorgeous home! My family and I enjoyed our stay. Met our expectations and beyond. Beautiful views and great location ; we loved waking up to the ocean every day and being able to watch the sunrise and sunset. The home was tastefully decorated, clean, the beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Great communication from Meredith, any questions or concerns was very responsive. Overall we loved our stay; was peaceful , steps from the beach, close to shops and restaurants. The perfect getaway we needed.

What a wonderful place to stay! All around such a great spot for some time at the beach! Everything is exactly as described. With the incredibly easy walk to the beach, seriously breathtaking views all around, convenient location to restaurants/shops and great communication from the host, I couldn’t recommend this place more! You won’t regret booking here. We can’t wait to come back!

The beach house was in an amazing location close to beach access and local restaurants. Rooms are very large and could accommodate a big group with lots of space. The pool and pool area was a great bonus. We spent a lot of time on the front deck for meals and hanging out. The owners were quick to respond to inquiries and very friendly. We hope to visit again in the future!

With the venue being in the 3rd floor you were giving an amazing view far above the reeds of the expansive wetlands. Being so responsive it left me the time & mental bandwidth to spend precious time with my family since I work states away. Hear me clear you will not find a better bnb in the area & should the chance arise for an available stay, you should just to know what a proper professional bnb is like. thank you again for the opportunity & great experience.

Gia’s DuckUtopia was everything we hoped it would be! There was something for everyone in my family. Although Gia provided lots of ideas and tips for the area, we loved just hanging out. The views of the sound were amazing. The pool and hot tub were perfect. My husband and son enjoyed the kayaks. My husband and daughter also enjoyed fishing for crab. Cleaning up with the outdoor shower after the beach was so easy. We loved all the amenities, especially the kitchen gadgets! All we needed to bring was food and towels for the beach. The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We hope to return next year…to finish the ping pong match that got rained out! What a relaxing time! Thanks, Gia!

I wanna say first Thank You Chad for being a great host and making us feel at home. The home was perfect and the sunset was stunning to watch in the evenings on the back deck. if you are looking for a relaxing time and close to the sound and beach I will definitely recommend RedBeard's Sloop. thanks for having us! will definitely be returning in the near future!

This place is absolutely beautiful! You can hear the waves all night long and the the AC works beautifully! You do need 4 wheel drive as there home is in-between dunes and the parking situation with other Airbnbs cause for some 4 wheel drive action but it's part of the experience and we loved it all! Everyone around is extremely friendly and we were able to enjoy our pup on the beach at all times! EXTREMELY dog friendly vibe! Beware this location is about 30 minutes from more urban city areas BUT there are plenty of local markets and deli's to make your easy! Ice machine is fantastic and honestly makes up for no freezer! We will be booking yearly

This was our first time in the Outer Banks and we loved this cottage for our family of five. It was convenient, clean, had a great kitchen, very cute, wonderful views of the beach and ocean, and the deck had a walkway over the dunes right to the beach. The location was close to grocery stores and other amenities. Diane provided beach chairs and an umbrella and the deck had a shower to clean up before going back in. All of this made our stay here easy, relaxing, and fun. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great rustic spot that was still very modern and clean. Walkable to both sides of the island. Only thing I didn’t realize when I booked it is that the upstairs is off-limits to guests.

We came to Rodanthe to relax and that’s exactly what we did. This is the only Airbnb in the Outer Banks that we’ve considered staying at again. This rental house was more like a home which is rare to find at the beach. So many thoughtful extras to make your stay more enjoyable. The outdoor shower was everything. I didn’t use the shower inside our whole stay. The hot tub was clean and heated up quickly. The master bed was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck talking, laughing, playing games, and enjoying the sounds of the ocean and the breeze. Beach access is right in front of the house which made for a very short walk back to use the bathroom or get a drink. I appreciated having just one flight of stairs to walk my senior dogs up and down to go to the bathroom. The host was very prompt getting back to me and answering all of my questions. We had a slight issue that was out of the host’s control but they did everything in their power to make it right.

It's a vacation home and the location is the selling point. You have a view of the ocean out of most of the windows. And the sound of the waves is beautiful. Darren was extremely responsive and helpful. He was an excellent host. We would gladly go back and visit maybe at a different time because the cost was high in comparison to the others on the street. Side note; In my opinion the property management company and cleaning crew they have maintaining the home takes full advantage of the owners not living there. I hope he has appropriate conversations with them regarding their lack of.

Had a great stay for our honeymoon, was very clean, the house was cute and cozy, close to everything, just a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend staying here.

I spent 5 nights in this house in Salvo and had a wonderful experience. Leading up to the trip and all throughout, I was able to maintain contact with Elizabeth and this helped for everything to go smooth. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quieter area of the Outer Banks.

Paradise!! This home makes you feel like you’re living in paradise! The pictures capture the home but to be there live is on another level! The home was extremely clean and fit our family of 7 perfectly but could have easily added more people to the home. We cooked every day and all cooking utensils we needed were in the home. We walked to Food Lion and Duck Donuts (10-15 min) because there is a sidewalk on the main road. I would absolutely come back to this home and would HIGHLY recommend The Beach House to everyone I know who would like to visit OBX.

Our family loved this house! The kitchen is well-equipped with anything you might need even for the little ones. Everything was organized and clean! If we travel back to Rodanthe, we will definitely book again!!

I had an amazing stay at RUM-D.C.A! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and located in a quiet neighborhood just s seconds from the beach. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the extra touches and fast Wi-Fi. Dan was very responsive and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend this Airbnb – I’d absolutely stay here again!

We just got back today. This home is absolutely perfect for a quiet getaway. Sit on the couch, at the dining table, wake up in bed, wash dishes….wherever you are in this home, you will have an ocean view!!!!!!! Richard was very responsive and attentive. We travel down to OBX 2x a year and this will definitely be the place we stay! Rodanthe has that small town feel and just perfect for those that do not want to be around the crowds. Step right off the deck and onto the sand. Walk the beach and enjoy the sounds and views. Sunrise, sunsets? You get both in this home from every room! We loved our stay and will be back this fall!

Our stay at changing tides in the Outer Banks was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean views and the short 30 second walk to the pristine beach. The house itself is a perfect blend of coastal charm and modern comfort, with a fabulous kitchen, hot tub, and very well appointed living spaces. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the thoughtful touches made our vacation effortless and relaxing. The location in Duck was ideal—close to local restaurants, shops, and attractions like iconic duck donuts haha, nearby cute places to eat , yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive. We will definitely return.

Our family had a great vacation and we loved the location of the house. We had never been to Rodanthe so we were extremely happy with the location and the beach was beautiful and not crowded! The house was on a quiet street and the balconies added to a relaxing vibe. The screened-in porch was the best spot to have our coffee and chill while the kiddos watched tv. Lots of family games to choose from and the hosts have taken a lot of care to make the place inviting for families. The hosts were very polite and helpful, always quick to respond whenever a question came up. Thank you so much for having beach essentials for us to use-very thoughtful!

Excellent beach getaway on a quiet street with an easy walk to the beach. A quick walk from a local market with everything needed. House was clean, kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed for a stay. Grill was clean and plenty of gas. Pool was clean and private. Plenty of room for parking. Balcony and porch made for excellent evenings. Beach access is close and private. Everything was clean and ready to go when we go there. Hoses and outdoor faucets made cleanoff beach stuff and dogs easy. Will definitely look to rebook in the future.
