Monthly Rentals in Saltaire

We stayed at Joanne’s lovely cottage in Saltaire. We could only do 2 nights but it is in a perfect location right in Saltaire village. It is close to all of the amenities of the village so once parked up you can walk everywhere. Saltaire station is a stones throw away so you could travel further afield should you have time to explore the region further. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here and when we come to Saltaire again then I shall definitely look to availability for this cottage. Joanne had also left some lovely extras both for us and for our dog. Very deserved of 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We absolutely loved Katie’s Cottage! So comfortable, warm and cosy, and spotlessly clean …. couldn’t fault it! Saltaire is a beautiful place to visit, a mix of art galleries, industrial history, great restaurants and wine bars, and with the beautiful Yorkshire Moors literally on your doorstep. Walking distance to Shipley Glen tramway which leads you straight to the hills and beyond … book it and enjoy!

Great location & excellent transport links to the Dales or Leeds. Direct train to Dent over the Ribble head Viaduct! Very clear instructions and communication from the hosts. House and Saltaire Village show off the fascinating history of the mill towns of Yorkshire in a vibrant, colourful and friendly way. Salts Mill is a fantastic venue, combining different art exhibitions including David Hockney's work, a diner, cafe, bookshop, antique shop and designer home store. The house is well laid out and fully equipped, practical and cosy with the log fire. Beds and sofa are comfortable and it's quiet and peaceful, although, like most places, there is parking, and therefore cars outside in the cobbled street. Roberts Park is 5 mins away, with all sorts of outdoor activities, and there's lovely walks along the canal, the river, or up to Shipley Glen. Evenings can watch the sun go down at the Boat House.

Had an excellent stay in Saltaire. The house was cosy and comfortable, and just as described. Catherine had put together an incredibly informative information pack, filled with great tips and recommendations. The house is in the centre of Saltaire and was easily walkable to all the local amenities. A great base for exploring further afield too - we headed up to the Dales and into Bradford too, and both were easy journeys. No direct parking but we easily found a spot on the nearby local roads which was completely fine. The main road at the front of the house is busy, and quite loud, but mostly an in issue during the day when you’re out and about, so didn’t really affect us at all. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we very much look forward to returning!
