Vacation rentals with beach access in Sail Bay

We loved our stay at this property. The bunk room for the kids was large and had plenty of space. The bathroom was very clean and modern -- great shower :) The location was perfect for us -- walkable to all the beaches around the bay and an easy 5-10 minute drive to everything else we wanted to do. Super safe neighborhood. Mary and Tony were extremely welcoming and helpful. One of our best stays ever!

Loved our stay here. Short walk to the beach and to shopping. Neighbors were very helpful with recommendations. Place was cozy. Fans in each bedroom!! Enjoyed our stay!!

Nice property by the beach and bay! The room is clean and cozy, and the host let us borrow the bikes! In addition, the host has provided very useful recommendations about where to have fun activities and delicious restaurants. Definitely gonna go there again!

I Can't say enough about Tracey's place; it was clean, well stocked, and a great location. Easily walkable to plenty of breakfast/lunch places and a few dinner spots. Belmont Park and all its activities are an 8 minute walk. Beach is a short jaunt across Mission boulevard and the Bay is even closer. It is a little warm for sleeping with no A/C but when the living room door is open there's a great cross breeze!! The planes do fly above early in the am, but there's earplugs on the nightstand that we took full advantage of. Great local spots nearby; the Beachcomber bar is one block away with dueling pianos on Thursdays; super fun local hangout!! Parking spot is tight; we had a Toyota Camry and it fit snugly so just be aware of your car size! Highly recommend this spot to anyone considering it!!

Dan's place was adorable!! absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway for myself and my daughters. Everything was exactly as advertised with some unexpected pleasant surprises (beach amenities like boogie boards, chairs,toys and even a wagon!). every thing was spotlessly clean a day comfy. I see alot of mention regarding the noise. given you're literally right on mission blvd I feel that's to be expected and to be honest, with fans going and the windows closed at night I heard nothing and it had no impact on a most enjoyable stay. Dan is close by if needed but non intrusive and seems genuinely invested in you enjoying your stay. You cannot beat the location and I felt it was absolutely worth what i spent. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect getaway space for us. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Beautiful ocean views from the patio & the front sliding doors. Right on the boardwalk. Bedrooms were comfy and the kitchen was outfitted with amenities to cook our meals there. Easy walk to restaurants and the location right on the ocean was ideal. We will be back again!

We really enjoyed our stay here during “off season.” The weather was still beautiful every day, fully clear skies and amazing sunsets. The cabin itself was perfect. The bed was comfortable and we really appreciated the large bath towels. I ended up booking a rental car the night of our flight and I’m glad I did. We had no trouble parking on pacific beach drive, except for Saturday night, we had to drive down where the library is to find a spot. Nevertheless, it’s only about an 8 minute walk at most.

Excellent property, very clean, clear check in instructions, and a nice private yard. Can’t beat a few blocks to the beach and 5 minute walk to The Taco Stand, 12 min walk to Trilogy Sanctuary, and other great Italian restaurants. Lots of healthy options nearby, smoothies and salads etc. 15 min walk to downtown. 2 parking spots. Safe neighborhood. Cool ocean breezes. AC works quickly and is strong. They even have a Pokestop next door at the church to refill your Pokeballs :) Perfect for 2 people. Would live here if I could! Thanks!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Suzy’s place! We started our day with morning coffee on the front porch and ended the day there watching the sunset. Everything was wonderful!

We stayed here for Thanksgiving week with my parents, siblings, and children. It felt like the perfect place for a family to stay in San Diego. Very quiet neighborhood, but still walkable to some good restaurants and a short drive to so many parts of SD. The rooftop deck was great for sunset views and the kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, and toolds for cooking with. Matt was very responsive any time I had a question. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is wonderful, an easy walk right to Ocean beach, great bars and restaurants nearby. The outdoor patio spaces in the front and back of the unit are excellent additions and really adds to the experience. The unit itself is pretty much as described, linens and furniture are clean, kitchen is well laid out and has everything you would need. Heated toilet seats are a major plus. The only downside is parking, you can always find parking but probably have to park a few blocks away. This is typical for this part of the neighborhood, especially being so close to the beach. I knew what I was getting into so it’s not a problem for me. I would gladly rent here again

This property was convenient, comfortable, and exactly as described in other positive reviews and pictures. Easy to find, park, and to check in; host was responsive and let us know we could check in early. The space was perfect for 2 adults and a 9-yr-old, with the added bonus of a front and back yard area. Super easy access to bike paths, restaurants/bars/coffee/breakfast spots, the beach, and surrounding San Diego attractions. We were very happy with our stay and would return!

Clean, beautiful home in a great location. Some wonderful restaurants in close walking distance. The house was very close to the beach. It had plenty of amenities such as beach supplies and coffee. I would stay here again!

Thanks for a great couple days at Mission Beach. We were so close to the bay and the ocean with lots of toys and boards available for the kids. Very clean bathrooms and kitchen and we were able to relax right away. Walkable to restaurants, groceries and coffee for breakfast. Fit our family of 5 nicely. Thanks!

Nicholas’s apartment was the perfect find for my Southwrn California getaway. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and the view of the ocean from the pool was just what I had hoped for! A perfect spot to relax during the day and watch the sunset in the evening. Great restaurants and shops in walking distance, free parking, gracious staff - all around perfect!

Unbelievable view and a perfect location. Perfect spot to be if you’re looking to be in within minutes with walking where you want and only a quick 10 min drive to downtown. 10/10 💪

Loved this one bedroom apartment - was blown away by the views and felt I got a steal at this price considering the views and proximity to the beach.

We were travelling from Australia. Found it to be a centrally located Airbnb with superb views and close to good food venues. Made good use of the bikes in the garage, cycling around Mission Bay. Kitchen appliances included a pod coffee machine which was much appreciated. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Swathi was a great host…one of the best we’ve worked with. The unit was clean, well organized and her attention to detail was very impressive. She made it felt like we were staying with family. Kitchen appliances were new and very modern, the unit was spotless. The views of the ocean are exactly as the pictures show. You are literally on the boardwalk and with the windows open can hear the waves. Incredibly peaceful. Highly recommend and will be going back.

What a wonderful stay I had visiting our college student! Chris met us early for easy check in. The view and sunsets were outstanding, place was extremely clean and included many extras like fresh fruits, chilled wine and beach blankets and chairs. The linens were super soft, wonderful bath towels and well appointed bathroom… just nothing negative to say! Location was great, felt private and right on the beach and close to many restaurants. Easy parking too! Great find and we will definitely be back! Thank you!

If you are thinking about booking Francisco’s place, look no further. This apartment had everything my partner & I needed for a weekend getaway. Not only was the apartment fully furnished, but Francisco went above & beyond to make our stay special. We accidentally got locked out of the apartment one early morning & he was able to assist us within the hour. I would definitely stay here again. 10/10 across the board.
