House vacation rentals in Saffron Walden

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

We were pleased to find accommodation available where we could all stay and have a bed, have our second Christmas Day and generally be together with lots of space. Having the pool to enjoy was a particular bonus as most of us enjoy the water.

We booked this place last minute, but it turned out to be a great choice. A large property that amply accommodated our group.

Had a fantastic stay at Kristians house. Great communication, Kristian was very responsive, replying immediately to any query. House had everything you would need and in a great peaceful location. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Veronica and husband were great when i arrived for check in and then on hand if needed (which was hardly needed) gave me an excellent recommendation for a local walk which was brilliant. accomodation had so much character and was perfect for what we wanted it for.

Upon arrival Sally was there to greet us and give us a quick tour which was really helpful. The house itself is gorgeous - so spacious, perfect for a large group, and you want for nothing. The kitchen in particular is such an amazing socialising space - perfect for hosting! The Christmas decorations throughout were amazing and really made us feel at home and in the holiday spirit! All bedrooms were comfy, warm and spacious. We really enjoyed the pool table and darts. Everyone loved it! Location was so peaceful - countryside for miles but only a 10 min drive from Sandy station. Sally was super responsive throughout if we ever had any questions. And the cherry on top was the cuddliest cat Batman! We couldn’t have wished for a nicer place to spend Christmas with the family. Had a lovely stay here. Found the rooms really spacious and comfortable. It’s a peaceful location yet near the city and has A12 access for a quick getaway. The coffee shop and Coop a few minutes walk away were also really handy for the morning boost and to shop.

Matt was a great host and very responsive. The house was a great location, close to Colchester and our wedding venue in Feering. Rooms were spacious, great communal area, kitchen and living room. All utensils provided. Would highly recommend

We had the pleasure of staying for an entire month in this immaculate property where we immediately felt at home. Located in a quiet residential area but close to local amenities the facilities are excellent and the hosts go above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Jubed is more than a host… he is a friend to his guests. He went out of his way to help is. with any need or travel emergency. The townhouse is beautiful and Jubed adds the extra little touches that make you feel like valued friends rather than just guests. We loved our stay. Tina's beautiful home was a perfect base for our trip to London. Tina was responsive and helpful, and we had all the information we needed. The house was large enough that we all had our own space, and was nice and clean. We would happily stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Laurel House for our sons wedding . Tina is a very helpful host and the house is spotlessly clean and really well kitted out with lots of frsh towels bathrodes and even slippers ! Close to local shops and Chingford High street / train station .

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property which was in pristine condition. Very close to the university which was exactly what we needed for this visit. The free parking space round the back was super convenient. The house was well stocked with all the essentials and some luxuries too - a nice surprise. We'd like to thank our hosts for having the property ready for us in such a welcoming way. This was definitely one of the best places we've stayed at in Colchester in this price range, with lovely hosts too. We're looking forward to our next visit.

This place is an absolute hidden gem, even better than the photos! We were all pleasantly surprised by how beautifully furnished and well-equipped the house was. It’s spacious, spotless, and has everything you’d need for a great stay. The kitchen had more than enough cutlery and cooking essentials, and the BBQ setup was a highlight — super easy to use and perfect for a chill evening. The view is simply stunning and added so much to the experience. The host was incredibly friendly, with helpful instructions and great local recommendations that made our trip even smoother. Honestly, we wish we’d stayed for more than one night. Highly recommend!
