77 High Street is a well appointed, clean and extremely charming cottage. More than spacious enough for us as a family for four, as well as extremely comfortable and well located for everything Lavenham and the surrounding areas has to offer. Jayne is a friendly, responsive and helpful host and was great answering a couple of queries before our arrival. (My husband recently had a knee operation and we wondered whether the stairs would be problematic as he is on crutches with a knee brace. For anyone wondering, he had no problem with the stairs!). Local highlights for us: Sunday lunch at The Greyhound, delicious hot chocolates from The Parlour, takeaway 'ready meals' from Chilli & Chives, bags of old school sweets from Sweet Meats, and we also highly recommend Lavenham Falconry for those interested, our second time visiting and won't be our last. We have had a thoroughly enjoyable few days.

I stumbled Accross this Airbnb quite by chance and I was blown away. I have now visited over and over again because the location is close to family. I always feel right at home. The cottage has everything I need for my stay, plus the hosts make it super cozy and welcoming with afternoon tea on arrival (I live for those scones) a fire at the ready to create ambiance and warm the living area, plus some bubbly and amazing coffee to relax with. I travel from the US so these details upon arrival make me feel very welcome.

My family and I had a lovely stay at the Coach House. The property is beautifully designed and the decor is very stylish. The house was very clean throughout and we had everything we needed for our stay. Charlie was very quick in replying with any queries that we had throughout our stay also. We thought the paintings throughout the house were a lovely touch to the property also. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

This was our second year at Dynes cottage and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. Such a beautiful house and space to relax in with so much room. Catherine is a great host, very responsive to any questions but unobtrusive. Finding local cakes left for us on arrival was of course very gratefully received ! Highly recommended this beautiful farmhouse for a group of friends or families, you won’t be disappointed 🥰

We had a four night stay for our sons 18th Birthday, as family of six. The location was serene Your self contained property and garden was lovely. We had an issue with lack of seats inside and out, but Rupert responded very quickly and was super helpful bringing more over to us. He couldn't be more obliging The four dogs are most friendly & very well behaved dogs, They visited us most mornings and evenings. Even as we ate outside, but don't worry as they were so well behaved and didn't cause any problems while we sat and ate. One in particular took a shine to our daughter and was still with us most nights outside, while we were sitting around & having a fire until 10.30/11 pm at night. She loved it. I am allergic to dogs but also fell in love with them . The wildlife was amazing too. A serene setting and the dogs were an added bonus for my sons birthday treat, as they became a part of our family for a short while. We would return but as a family of four next time.

This time we was able to enjoy the gorgeous garden as we were so incredibly lucky with the weather ☀️ The hammock was amazing and we enjoyed having our morning cuppa hearing the birds and enjoying the stunning garden Once again the cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped Helen is a wonderful host, who is so friendly and responsive! It’s such a pleasure to deal with her! We cannot wait to come back in the summer Thanks again!!

We had a good few days in this lovely old cottage. We felt it was the best location on the island as we like to be where it is quiet and atmospheric. Being my the harbour meant we had both of these as other parts are very residential. We had lovely weather too and good to have a bbq. Thank you. Nice meal at the white hart club and also coffee and cake at Mersea barns.
