Such a wonderful stay. Bob and Julie’s place is just the thing we needed for a relaxing girls weekend. The scenery was breathtaking, the hot tub was ready to use and the house was in pristine condition. It looked even better than the photos. We would definitely come back!!

I was looking for some quiet after a stressful few months and something of a view. I love the water so I picked this place and it want a far drive from me. I felt at home and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could think of which was great because I really wanted to bake for myself and just do a great self care weekend which I did. Me and my pup got to have some alone time and hang by the water across the street at the gated off little beach. Hung out in the hammock and sat on the boat launch. Exactly what I needed. Definitely coming back !

This house is a must stay if you are coming to the area, especially for Ski- Big Bear. The house is warm, cozy, clean, and very comfortable. We loved this house and all of the wonderful recommendations provided in Erin’s guidebook. Looking forward to our next trip back!

Everything was awesome! The house was very clean and very comfortable beds. You cannot beat the location, as it is walking distance to Holiday Mountain. Sean was awesome accommodating us at the last minute when our other lodging canceled. The responsiveness was great. Would definitely stay here again and cannot recommend this place enough!

Great spot to stay for a remote weekend away. If you are looking for a wonderful and calm nature getaway, this is the spot! Has everything you need and very comfortable

Alyson and Robert were amazing hosts! There was more than enough space for 7 adults and 6 kids, two dogs! (Three families altogether!) We were coming from different states, NC being the farthest, and anticipating a very long car ride. Alyson had notified us that we could do an early check-in, which definitely came in handy as we were all exhausted and our kids were ready to get out and stretch! We came during the off-season, which was still pretty amazing; however, it was extremely windy, blowing over one of the fireplace spouts on the roof. Alyson and Robert were very quick to respond and send out their handyman to fix the problem. I would recommend them to anybody with large families! We chose this home because of how pet-friendly they were and they seemed like down-to-earth people. Would love to return during the spring/summer!

Little slice of heaven in the Western Catskills! This home was a perfect long-weekend escape from the hustle of city life—absolutely spectacular views, lovely fireplace, well-stocked kitchen, and that perfect combination of spacious/airy and cozy. Amazingly well-outfitted for kids with plenty of toys & books, and we had fun in the snow in the yard. It was fairly blustery and wet out much of the weekend, so we spent most of our time inside but never felt cooped up.
