Celebrating english antiquity in a home was a rare treat. Warm and welcoming with a delicious brekkie and cosy rooms. Jane was a consummate hostess and hugely helpful & knowledgeable about the locality as well as her beautiful home. Thankyou from us both. Highly recommend.

AirBnB started with the premise that hosts would welcome travelers into their homes. It was/is a nice ideal: we travel the world to encounter people with experiences that may differ from ours. Miranda and Mark exemplify that notion. They clearly enjoy meeting people from all lands and provide a beautiful and comfortable place for them to stay. Stamford is a charming town. Just walking around the center is great entertainment. We only made an overnight stay while passing through but would have liked to spend more time.

Ruth is friendly & accommodating, especially considering our travelling with our furry companion Mina who thoroughly enjoyed herself, a very good sign. It was both a pleasure & a joy to stay at Ruth's unique & beautiful space, tidy & superbly clean our first time using airbnb, we were made to feel right at home. Can only apologise for the late review. The breakfast on offer perfectly suited my taste & my partner (a none vegetarian) found he integrated easily. Would highly recommend, we much hope to return! =0)

Quintessential BnB experience in Maggie’s long term family manor home. She is keen to make you feel at home and happy to chat. Excellent English breakfast and easy check in. Good value for money.

This place is beautiful and Ruth is one of the nicest hosts I have ever come across. She makes you feel right at home and goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect for you. Couldn’t rate her highly enough.

Ann is very gentle and considerate. She was very cooperative in helping us stay here and welcomed us with a range of breakfast items: loads of varieties of oats, more than four types of tea, three types of coffee, etc . Very elegant home and the backyard is also very enchanting. I had an amazing sleep as the beds are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and will come back. In addition, her home is one of the closest accommodations to the start point of outlaw Nottingham.

Lovely place to stay in the heart of this quaint cottage box village. The hosts were very welcoming and our room was clean with what looked to be a recently installed ensuite. Good gin selection too :-)
