Cottage vacation rentals in Rushcliffe District

I cannot recommend this property highly enough! It was a real home from home for me and my family and the surroundings are stunning! The welcome kit provided by Amanda was a lovely gesture and the homemade Victoria sponge was the best cake I’ve ever tasted! You can tell that Amanda and Martin have been doing this a long time - they had everything covered both in terms of facilities and handover knowledge. We are looking to return in the summer when hopefully the weather is a bit kinder to us! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Had a lovely 3-night stay at The Fern. The cottage has everything you need and fun extras that Nigel and Laura have clearly put a lot of thought into, both for us humans and our pup! Perfect place to bring your doggo to, our pup had the best time exploring the rest of the farm. Garden at the cottage is perfect to let them wander too. Short 20-minute walk to a local riverside pub and a 10-minute drive to main shops at Newark. Will definitely be coming back to the Fern!

Absolutely amazing place. Private, spacious and homely with the most stunning view. This was by far our favourite stay and hope to visit again one day. We enjoyed a lovely bbq and sitting in the hot tub under the stars. The music outside was a great touch, and nice to be able to log into our Netflix. It had everything we needed and had an amazing time playing games.

We had a lovely weekend. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a lovely treat and it was lovely to relax in. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

This is a great base to explore Lincoln, Newark and Sherwood Forest. Lots of walks and history in the area. Philip recommended 2 great pubs, Prince Rupert in Newark and Hare & Hounds in Fulbeck. We also really enjoyed the Alpacca Farm and Doddington House. Philip lives close by and came to greet us on arrival. He is very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was great and accommodation very clean.

My review. My husband and I enjoyed a weekend break in the Cosy cottage. This is a lovely quaint cottage with some beautiful original features. The log fire really sets the scene, there was ample wood provided. Loved the private garden with the hot tub, when it was lit up during the evening it was very romantic. The home is very clean and presented well. The host Sanjay provides a great list of places to visit and eat. We enjoyed long walks and going to the pub 2 mins away. We would definitely recommend this cottage and we will return.

Absolutely perfect for our stay we loved it, host is very responsive, cottage was clean, all the basics were supplied which was amazing, close to everything, definitely would book again if we come back to the area! Thank you 🫶🏻

Another fantastic easy stay at Kirsty’s cottage. I was competing at Arena UK and our 3.5tn lorry fits in the car park. Great location and only a few minutes back to the venue. Cottage warm and tidy with nice touches. Hopefully be back again next year!

lovely stay jackie is very friendly! the cottage is sweet, and full of original historic character fitting the village... which is worth exploring then you can snuggle up by the log fire in the cosy living room! the place has all modern appliances & is great for dogs with beautiful enclosed back garden, just watch out for the main road... We'll be back soon. Bonnie loved it :) xXx

The coffin makers cottage was beautifully presented, super clean and just what we were looking for. Warm and cosy with all required amenities. We felt right at home. Would highly recommend.

Had a great stay at Stoop Cottage. Really appreciated Rachel's thoughtful extra touches. Location was excellent - great local shop, lots of places to eat and drink nearby and fantastic walks for the dog. A very relaxing stay and hope to be back.

We stayed for 4 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house is warm , comfortable and in a lovely setting. Our dog had a great time too. The house and garden are very dog friendly and there are good dog walks from the doorstep. The bakery in village and Crich Stand Tea Rooms ,open Fri - Sun , are highly recommended as is the walk up the canal from Whatstandwell to Cromford . Thank you Annick for good communication, the well equipped kitchen and lovely warm house.

We had a lovely weekend stay and the cottage was perfectly located. The cottage was clean and it was easy to find everything we needed. I had to work for some of the time and the wireless Internet was perfect for fast browsing and video calls. Would happily recommend and hope to stay again.

Very comfortable, clean and fully equipped cottage. Tracey responded quickly to any queries and was happy to recommend places to visit and eat. Two lovely pubs within minutes of the cottage - what a bonus!

Fiona is a great host. The house is lovely, spacious and super clean. The bedrooms all have good size en suites which is great. Kitchen has a very cool feature which is a must see.. I won't spoil that surprise! Although on a train crossing, it is not disturbing, rater it is a unique setting.

I really enjoyed my stay in Alicia’s cottage. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Alicia was very helpful throughout and the location is well situated with easy access to the main roads and also for walking in the surrounding area. The property was very clean throughout and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend Alicia’s property.

Amazing! Would absolutely stay again - everything was perfect, the cottage was expansive and we were incredibly well provided for. The team have clearly been doing this a long time as every detail was thought about and catered for.

Fantastic accommodation and location, might want to consider black out curtains in the bedroom, it was very bright in the morning, but overall extremely satisfied with our stay
