This is more than house. It is a nest. You've got everything, kitchen is great, netflix, air-conditioning, you name it. The place è is quite and you can sleep as a baby. You've got your own parking too! The most powerful thing in the house is the hosts Paula. It was like meeting a family member that you didn't see for years. She was so caring, so kind, lovely. If you love a vacation off the beaten path, away from the crowds of tourist resorts... this is your place. The house is located in a small village attached to the rock with a breathtaking view of the Rokka Gorge. The terrace you will share with other guests is perfect for enjoying breakfast or aperitif. Know that there are cats who come looking for food... for any allergies.. Marianna made us find food for the first night and was always responsive to resolving any questions or issues. Rokka is the ideal place to explore the northwest beaches of the island and Chania. Beaches to the southwest takes at least an hour by car. We take away beautiful memories with us Thank you

Nektaria was at all times good reachable via chat and really friendly. She offered to support us with any questions we would have during our stay. Besides that, the village Rokka is a lovely place in the mountains but not too far away from Kissamos and the infrastructure at the coast. Moreover, there is also olive oil estates and traditional restaurants in the villages around. All in all, thank you very much for having us at your beautiful accommodation.

Chrysa's 'Cozy Stonehouse' was set in a beautiful location, the famous village of Rokka, and was a quiet and peaceful refuge from the busier coastal region about 20 minutes drive away. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed strolling around the village - the famous Rokka Gorge hike was a little too much for us as the path is steep and it was very hot, even in late September - but we're from the UK so we're not going to complain about hot weather! We didn't spend much time in the house itself apart from sleeping, but it always had a pleasant temperature, cool in the daytime and not cold at night, even though the nights became a little chilly when October arrived. The wi-fi worked perfectly, the fridge and cooker were both modern. And we appreciated Chrysa's welcome gifts of honey and olive oil, both from her own production.
