House vacation rentals in Rochester

Our stay was awesome. We really enjoyed all the amenities and the space in the home. Fully stocked with anything you need. The land and home is beautiful and has a peaceful setting! Thanks Sondra and Josh!! We’ll be back!

Historic. Modernized. Spacious. Equipped. Darned near perfect. Our three generations, population ten, aged five months to sixty-some years, just spent three days at Greg’s place. This 200+ year old farmhouse met our family lodging, social, and entertainment needs in every respect. Each bedroom was comfortable with its own personality. The kitchen/galley area featured eat-in and room for big meal prep, while the large dining room allowed all of us to sit together at the massive old long table. “Historic” does not preclude “modern” -- there was proper tv in every room, and lots of ‘smart’ items throughout the house. Some of us braved the (very) cold to enjoy the lovely hot tub on the screened porch. Others of us enjoyed the basement game room featuring, but not limited to, a pool table. The snow masked what is undoubtably a charming outside area with deck, pavilion, and patio seating area. Bristol Mountain is approximately three miles down the road. All in all… just outstanding.

We spent three days at Dave and Karen‘s chalet. It rained for the majority of our trip, but it gave us a chance to really relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and their lovely home. The beds were comfortable the large living room and gas fireplace were a warm comfort and we loved being able to take our two small dogs along. I have never stayed at a house that had such a well stocked kitchen. We did not cook, but if we had wanted to, everything we needed was there. The hot tub was really enjoyable and perfect location with a beautiful view of the serene forest. There is a walking path around the chalet which the dogs loved. An evening by the outside fireplace was also a special treat. I can see why this place has a five star! It was great that we each had our own private room and bathroom so this location is excellent for two couples. The downstairs has everything you could possibly need for an evening in and we really enjoyed the large projector TV and the games.

Rachael has been a phenomenal host. When we reached out, she responded immediately. The home is absolutely stunning, just like the photos. This location was so peaceful and relaxing. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and the large balcony/deck. My husband and I are newly weds and we decided to take a mini moon here before our big honeymoon. It was absolutely everything we needed. Relaxing. Great views. Awesome location. And a very, very cozy home. My deepest gratitude towards Rachael for hosting us. We can’t wait to come back soon!

Wonderful place to stay.

Great stay for a girls getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed and the backyard/hot tub was relaxing. Located just 15 minutes from town for cute shops and restaurants.

Alecia’s place was exactly as described and was perfect for our girls weekend! The basement was a great area for playing board games on the large table and watching movies on the sectional. The hot tub was a very nice amenity and was one of our main draws for staying here. Everything functioned properly and it was very relaxing. All of the beds were extremely comfortable and we did not have any issues!

Kristen’s place was the perfect home away from home while we were in the Rochester area. Great space for a small family - loved hanging out on the cozy couch. The kitchen was great and stocked with all the appliances and kitchen tools we needed. Loved having laundry accessible. And hanging on the back porch was a great way to end the day. Kristen was very responsive to our questions and recommended restaurants in walking distance!

Excellent! We celebrated Easter there and the home was perfect! The downstairs bedroom and bathroom right next door was perfect for my 82 year old mom! When I tell you our family felt at home is an understatement. The home was so welcoming and comfortable! So fresh and clean! Fully stocked kitchen, I bought so many of my own items to use just in case but I didn't need to. They literally had everything! Beds were so comfortable and plenty of towels! Nice fenced in backyard for our little Cockapoo. The two livingrooms perfect spacing for young and older individuals to enjoy themselves. Excellent communication before, during, and after our stay! We will definitely look to stay there in the future, my son has at least 2 more years left at RIT. Thank you for making our Easter weekend Perfect!

Perfect location for us - centrally located in ROC and easy to get to family in suburbs we were visiting. The house was clean and comfortable, had a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable bed. We were very impressed with the quiet in the bedroom. The house is near 490 and there are chickens next door, yet you can NOT hear them. The white noise machine is really helpful. No fault of the owner, I should have asked, but the one thing I didn't like was the scent in some rooms. Very sensitive to that and it was annoying. I'd love to have Airbnb have an option for "scent free" when I'm booking a place. Frankie was very responsive whenever I did message him. Our dog, Zee loved the place. The backyard space was really nice for her to have.

Condo was perfect for our family of five (and could easily accommodate more). The furniture was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat. The kids loved the basement game room and spent hours playing! Conveniently located between Rochester and Palmyra, we were able to enjoy city attractions and historical sites. We stayed three nights, and I’d absolutely stay there again!

This is a cozy, comfortable house. A quiet neighborhood but close to things to do in Rochester. Trina is a great host. I would stay here again.

We were in town to spend the holidays with family and the house was everything that we had hoped for! It was warm and welcoming and a great space for us all to spend time together. Everything was clean and the house had everything that you might need for a wonderful stay. Owner was easy to reach and answered questions quickly. We loved it and are already talking about a repeat visit next year!

We absolutely loved our stay, we felt right at home. The location is beautiful. We would love to come back if the opportunity arose!

We had an enjoyable stay over Easter weekend. The house is located on a very quiet street and had plenty of room for five adults. Weather was mild so we were able to utilize the outdoor dining area, and the ping pong table in the basement was a hit! Host was responsive and accommodating.

Second stay here. Just as clean as the first time. Everything you need is supplied. Great location, exactly halfway between Canandaigua and Naples. Brian is extremely responsive to any inquiry.

We had an amazing stay. Traci was very accommodating. The home was as expected. I can’t say enough how happy I was with our stay. And each room had a sound machine that we all found helpful. I even ordered one for myself! I’ll be definitely staying again !

The house was conveniently laid out for our family group. The beds were very comfortable and everything was super clean. We had a 10 month old with us so the high chair and crib were much appreciated. Door Dash found the house easily too

A really wonderful find just outside of Rochester (around 2 hours away from Ithaca, Niagara Falls, Buffalo, or the NYS Fair). The house and pool were wonderful, with really comfortable beds, a large living room, a full kitchen, and a great backyard. Sergey was wonderful from start to finish. He made sure the pool was cleaned every morning, answered all of our questions, and was just overall very friendly. Our group of 6 felt right at home. Would love to return at some point in the future!

5/5 – A Perfect Family Getaway We had an incredible stay and truly didn’t want to leave. The home was ideal for a family vacation—comfortable, well-equipped, and full of thoughtful touches. My children were devastated to go! We had planned a few small adventures in the surrounding area, but they were so happy in the pool that we barely left the property. We came during spring break from upstate New York, where it was still snowing, so the warm weather and sunshine were a much-needed reprieve. The house had everything we needed: Netflix, Alexa, a garage full of pool noodles and floaties, and a lovely selection of children’s books that my toddlers adored. One of the most heartwarming moments was when Neil kindly gifted my daughter a stuffed cat she had fallen in love with—it meant so much to her and to us. This was the kind of stay that creates lasting memories. We can’t wait to come back.

Great peaceful place to stay while seeing local friends. Comfy inside, garage parking was an awesome plus and our dog absolutely loved the large open yard behind the guest house. The host was super friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Was exactly what we needed for our weekend!

This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom

Our family stayed here right after Christmas & not only did the accommodations fit us perfectly, it was nice to be somewhere that was decorated for the holiday. The house was of course old, but that is part of the charm. The bathrooms were pristine & the grounds were beautiful! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Martha!

Loved our time here. It was a great space to stretch out after spending time in NYC. Lots of fun extras for the kids like the toys and games in the shanty. Great proximity to church historical sites if that is of interest. Would recommend to anyone!
