Wonderful place, very secluded, offering an escape from everyday life. Hot tub was fully functional and clean. Would recommend to others.

This place definitely exceeded my expectations - it feels much roomier than the photos suggest. We had family over and there were 9 of us there and seating for 13 available! The first morning there was a surprise snowfall, and I turned on the heat in the patio and sat there with my computer doing a personal project and watching the snow fall - it was so lovely. The hot tub is quite roomie and fabulous. We had trouble with the wifi and the host responded almost immediately and solved the issue for us. My only complaint is that the mattresses were too soft for my chronic back pain (they didn’t bother anyone else) so I didn’t sleep well.

Historic. Modernized. Spacious. Equipped. Darned near perfect. Our three generations, population ten, aged five months to sixty-some years, just spent three days at Greg’s place. This 200+ year old farmhouse met our family lodging, social, and entertainment needs in every respect. Each bedroom was comfortable with its own personality. The kitchen/galley area featured eat-in and room for big meal prep, while the large dining room allowed all of us to sit together at the massive old long table. “Historic” does not preclude “modern” -- there was proper tv in every room, and lots of ‘smart’ items throughout the house. Some of us braved the (very) cold to enjoy the lovely hot tub on the screened porch. Others of us enjoyed the basement game room featuring, but not limited to, a pool table. The snow masked what is undoubtably a charming outside area with deck, pavilion, and patio seating area. Bristol Mountain is approximately three miles down the road. All in all… just outstanding.

We spent three days at Dave and Karen‘s chalet. It rained for the majority of our trip, but it gave us a chance to really relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and their lovely home. The beds were comfortable the large living room and gas fireplace were a warm comfort and we loved being able to take our two small dogs along. I have never stayed at a house that had such a well stocked kitchen. We did not cook, but if we had wanted to, everything we needed was there. The hot tub was really enjoyable and perfect location with a beautiful view of the serene forest. There is a walking path around the chalet which the dogs loved. An evening by the outside fireplace was also a special treat. I can see why this place has a five star! It was great that we each had our own private room and bathroom so this location is excellent for two couples. The downstairs has everything you could possibly need for an evening in and we really enjoyed the large projector TV and the games.

We have stayed here a few times when we come to visit family. The place is always clean & located on a quiet street perfect for taking a walk. Karen has always been very receptive to messages. Check out is very easy too!

Great stay for a girls getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed and the backyard/hot tub was relaxing. Located just 15 minutes from town for cute shops and restaurants.

We arrived at night so didn’t get a sense of the surroundings until the following morning when we were greeted by a wonderful sunrise over the Irondequoit bay. The house was clean and comfortable with easy WiFi and other amenities.

My husband and I went for R & R, and The Bear Camp was perfect! The first thing you see when you open the door is the lake! The views are incredible! While it is relatively small(1 bedroom), it lives large. There are multiple decks with places to sit and an open floor plan inside. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We went in October and enjoyed the fall foliage. We would highly recommend The Bear Camp! One note of caution: there are stairs from road to cabin and from cabin to lake

Our stay in canandaigua was great. The spot is perfect if you want to be close enough to restaurants but far enough away for peacefulness

We drove from NY and we arrived like 7:30 pm. I call the number on the Door office and no more than 5 min later Shelley and Mike show up to the office and help me out with the check in, and because it was dark night they direct me right to the front door of the cabin. By the way if you lucky and sky is open you going to have the best show ever…Millions of stars lightning only for you🤩 if you have change go to visit, Watkins Glen state park is one hour away but you will be loved. Staying at the Sugar House Cabin at Kettle Ridge Farm was an absolute delight! The location strikes the perfect balance – close to everything we needed, yet secluded enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. We loved our stay at this Pitsford oasis! The home was super clean, comfortable beds, spacious and had all listed amenities. Nice backyard for our pups to explore. We had a momma deer and her baby visit us in the backyard 2 days in a row! The neighborhood is a very pretty family neighborhood. Quiet and walkable with your pups! Go to BJ's about 10 min away and have a Pizookie dessert! Lots of restaurants and things to do in the area. Our host, Melissa, was excellent and an absolute pleasure to talk to & work with! Highly recommend!

There were a group of us (7 total) everyone had their own space and there was plenty of room. Also ample off street parking.

Great location! My husband and I really liked the private location as the house was at the end of a street across from a field. It was nice as you didn’t feel as if the neighbors were looking in on you. We liked being able to access the home through the garage for even more privacy. Home was very comfortable and as described. We also enjoy having a connected bathroom to the upstairs bedroom. As we arrived in the cold winter months, it was nice being able to adjust the heat to our satisfaction. We had a very comfortable stay. The home was not far from several surrounding restaurants and coffee shops. We would stay again. Thank you!

We were in town to spend the holidays with family and the house was everything that we had hoped for! It was warm and welcoming and a great space for us all to spend time together. Everything was clean and the house had everything that you might need for a wonderful stay. Owner was easy to reach and answered questions quickly. We loved it and are already talking about a repeat visit next year!

After a stressful cross-country move, we needed a place to stay while we looked for a house. Joanne's place was exactly what we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful, but still close to many things. It is a great location, within walking distance of the beach and walking trails. Even though it was freezing most of our stay, I still enjoyed taking walks in the woods at the end of the street. The house itself is very cute and cozy. We felt right at home. Everything was clean and stocked for a long stay. Joanne was very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here.

The listing was exactly as described and couldn't be happier with how close it was to RIT! Shirley was very helpful and even went out of her way to get a new pack and play for our kid Will be staying here again when I visit next!
