I always take pictures with a pinch of salt. But this place is just as cozy as it looks. and what makes it stand out are the amazing hosts. they're always accomodative and mindful. I faced some unexpected delays both on the day of check-in and check-out but they ensured that they helped me out through it. the breakfast portions are wholesome too!! highly recommended for anyone visiting Sohra or Cherrapunji.

Teiskhem is a really great host! Even though I didn't get a chance to meet her during my visit, she was really supportive on text and helped me with local recommendations and even arranged homecooked meals for me by asking her househelp when the chef wasn't available. Would definitely recommend. I was travelling solo so getting around places was a little tough for me but I was able to rent an activa for 2 out of 3 days of my stay which made things easier. The living root bridges is ~20 mins from her place so please think about arranging a vehicle if you're coming for that specifically.
