Had a great stay (we had booked the entire apartment for 4 nights) at Gurmeet's place. Very central location, at the same time very quiet and good neighbourhood. View form the property (as shown in the pics) was amazing. Very good cafes and restos within walking distance from the property. Visitors must try Dylan's cafe - 900 mtrs. Caretaker Shalby was very helpful, always available (at all times) and very polite. Gurmeet was a very nice, polite and responsive host. Highly recommended stay.

We had an incredible 3-night stay at this property. The listing was accurate, and there were no unpleasant surprises—it was exactly as described. Elibirth, the caretaker, was exceptional and went out of his way to cater to our needs, whether it was preparing breakfast, picking up groceries, or cooking dinner. The property’s charm lies in its isolation, offering a peaceful getaway. While there isn’t much to do in the immediate vicinity, Swiggy and Zomato were easily accessible, ensuring food was never an issue. The interiors were tastefully decorated and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort. Heaters were promptly provided upon request, which were a lifesaver in January. That said, a water geyser with a slightly higher capacity would have been appreciated for the cold weather. Anirban, the host, was always available and very accommodating, making the entire experience seamless. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property

Very good stay we had at Banikas place. She was hospitable and answered all our queries patiently. Will definitely recommend her place to anyone looking for accommodation in smShillong, that too in the central area.

We had a pleasant stay at A-frame, a charming and affordable homestay in Shillong. The property offers all the essential amenities needed for a comfortable visit, and its unique design adds a cosy touch. Conveniently located close to the city and the highway, it’s perfect for exploring the area. While there is a nearby stone quarry, which can occasionally be noisy, it wasn’t much of a distraction for us and didn’t take away from the overall experience. The fresh, onsite breakfast was a lovely bonus. A-frame is an excellent choice for those seeking value, comfort, and accessibility in Shillong.

Had a very peaceful stay for a couple of days with my family . Ian was very responsive . Special mention and thanks to caretaker Nico and Deiphi. They were very helpful. The location and aesthetics of the cottage is something right out of a book . Will definitely visit next time .

The place is exactly like in the photos. Extremely well maintained and clean. There was a heater too which was very helpful. Sagar and Julie were extremely helpful. Sagar is an amazing guide to local sights and we thoroughly enjoyed Julie's cooking. Would definitely visit again.

The property was exactly as described and matched our requirements. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us some local recommendations for within and outside Shillong, for which we are forever grateful as we ended up having a beautiful trip here. The caretaker staff was also very helpful. Also, Autumn is the cutest dog!

Very well maintained peaceful place, just looks like given photographs. Host was very cooperative and responsive. Only drawback is that it is far from the centre of the city. Rest is very good.

Our stay at Roseville was terrific. The place is on the side of a hill, so you have a fantastic view right outside your door during your stay there. It's a peaceful place, yet close enough to the town to walk around. Their description of the property is accurate. The house has all the amenities that one would need. If you don't feel like cooking, you can have food delivered to the home. There are some great restaurants nearby that offer some delicious north-eastern food. Jason was very accommodating to all our requests, and Mimmie was a gracious host to us during our time there. I hope we visit Shillong and spend time at this excellent listing!

The property is clean and cozy, and Wanshai made sure we felt completely at home. It comes fully equipped with a fridge, kettle, induction cooktop, room heater, water heater, and utensils. A gas cylinder for cooking is available for an additional charge. Wanshai and his wife also served us a delightful breakfast (chargeable), and a bonfire facility is available for added warmth and enjoyment. The property is conveniently located just 10–15 minutes by car from Police Bazaar. Swiggy and Zomato are serviceable in the area, making it easy to order food. Overall, we highly recommend this property!
