Waterfront vacation rentals in River Wye

What a gem of a place. The location was central (which was great considering the almost non-stop rain). Having dedicated parking right next to the apartment and that close to town was brilliant. The location was surprisingly quiet considering how central it is. The apartment might be small but the layout is excellent and there was plenty of room for the two of us for the 3 nights we stayed. The kitchen was particularly good as you could have easily cooked a proper meal (not just a heat up meal). And because the table opened out you could properly enjoy an evening in. What really shone out though was Susie. She had seen the weather forecast was for a very cold spell and swapped the duvet for a warmer one before we got there. She also texted to remind us of the extra heater in the wardrobe. Once we’d worked out how the wall heater worked (clear instructions in the folder) we were toasty warm. Susie had left fresh milk in the fridge too. We’re already planning our next visits.

This flat was an amazing find. The view of the sea as you come into the flat is breathtaking. It's almost like being on a boat but much more spacious. The flat was spotless and comfy and well equipped. The beaches and walks nearby are spectacular. We were lucky with the weather but I could just sit on the balcony and watch the sea and the birds for hours. The host were efficient and responsive. Can't fault the experience.

View from main windows is spectacular, straight out onto the sea. Very helpful and flexible host, especially with check in and out times which really helped us. Overall a fantastic stay.

Beautiful and very well equipped. apartment in a lovely location. Check in was easy & communication with Jemma was excellent. Couldn’t fault anything at all, perfect weekend stay.

A cosy place to stay that is incredibly comfortable

I stayed at the Airbnb for 4 nights and 5 days and from the start the hosts were very responsive, gave clear instructions and helpful suggestions. The apartment itself is beautiful, the views from the apartment of Langland Bay are spectacular and the beach is just 3 minutes walk from the apartment. The kitchen had all the amenities and apartment rooms were spacious, there are 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Even though we visited during winter time we had a great time exploring the area. I would love to come back again summer and I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

We had a lovely stay at the beachside apartment, Great location, off the beaten track but only ten minutes walk to centre of town, Two minutes walk to Minehead Harbour (fantastic for crabbing) and a wonderful pub The Ship Aground. Will definitely visit again, Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay! This is an amazing location and really suited our young family. There is a great park nearby and an easy walk to the shops! The space was super clean on arrival and we had everything we needed throughout. Missing the space all ready, it really was a home away from home!

Had a fab 3 night stay, great location for us, could walk everywhere. House was lovely! We didnt mind being in the middle of two pubs, both worth a visit. Thank you Debbie, hope you'll have us back again 😊

Great place to stay for large groups. We had visited from New Zealand and were staying with UK family, it suited our needs perfectly.

We visited here as a family of 7 with our dog. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again. The house is five star luxury and the little extras were a lovely surprise. I would recommend this house without a shadow of doubt. Thank you x

Fantastic place to stay. Breathtaking location, great amenities, house is clutter free, great restaurants pubs in walking distance. Great base for exploring cotswold with family and friends. Third bedroom does not have wardrobe/storage. Fourth bedroom is a sofa bed downstairs so difficult to get young kids to sleep there on their own. Master bedroom is very spacious!

We have an annual family gathering, catering for ten, aged from 3 to 81, it is not always an easy to find a venue, but this was a good choice. A great family home, lived in feeling and spacious. we all loved it. Good walks from the doorstep, Barmouth a lovely walk away, and the birds life is fun with a house well equipped with binoculars. Highly recommend a holiday here.

Great location a minute's walk from the sandy beach. Good bedrooms and dining area. Good space for chilling - big sofa & chairs & TV. Mostly well equipped and working with the kitchen and bathrooms - it worked pretty well for us as a group of 4 friends cooking in & driving out to Swansea coast & the Brecon Beacons (Four Falls waterfall trail is 40mins' drive).

The house is very comfortable and cosy, the Christmas decorations were a fab addition. It’s fully kitted out with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We did manage to fit two cars in the assigned space with a little manoeuvring! Otherwise used street parking close by. Host was very responsive with queries prior to our stay. Really enjoyed our time here.

Kept in touch . Clear directions and was waiting for our arrival to take us to the apartment. Explained all the amenities and was hand on checkout giving us clear directions to the City centre and Cardiff Bay so we got the most out of our day. Spotless accommodation. Safe secure parking and a wonderfully comfortable bed! All round excellence.

What a wonderful apartment. The location is amazing and the the apartment itself is beautiful. Great lounge overlooking the bay. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and the kitchen is very well appointed. Wayne and Jan communicated really well and recommended restaurants and walks which were perfect for us. We ate at the Dark Horse (Indian restaurant) and Cwtchina (lovely Italian), both fantastic independent restaurants. Also, the Pilot pub next door is a great traditional pub serving excellent beers.

Perfect base to stay, really comfortable bed, full kitchen. I was fortunate that my stay coordinated with the illuminated carnival in Weston-super-Mare and I also went into Weston on the open top bus from just outside. it was lovely to enjoy the view from both lounge and bedroom, even if it was a little grey. but nice beach to walk along with direct access. I will definitely stay again if in the area.

A wonderful stay in a great apartment. It’s even nicer than the photos. The hosts were great, very accommodating, responsive and helpful. There aren’t many steps to the apartment and it was easy to get in and out. Highly recommended. I would love to stay again,

We had a great weekend! Lovely place to stay and the sea view was amazing! Quiet, relaxing place to be. The surrounding bays had good places to eat and Mumbles was a delight to wander round. Great host and the welcome bits were really appreciated. Highly recommend place and host!

Shona’s apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very well-equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was modern and had all the essentials, while the living room offered a cozy atmosphere with a stunning view of the waterfront, making it a lovely spot to relax. The bedrooms were comfortable and thoughtfully furnished, ensuring a restful night. The bathroom was clean and sleek, and the shower was fantastic. Shona herself was an amazing host — responsive, accommodating, and incredibly thoughtful. Her communication was quick and friendly throughout, and she went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had, and we would highly recommend Shona’s place to anyone visiting the area.

A beautiful stay, we didn’t want to leave! Everything was as described, but was even better in person. The location and view was fantastic with just a short walk to cafes/pubs and the harbour. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Christopher the host was friendly, easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions.
