Chalet vacation rentals in River Thames

Our second stay at Lisa’s chalet was lovely. Lisa was a perfect host who made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated the milk and biscuits that were left for us when we arrived. We’ve really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely be back again. ☺️

Great place, beautiful surroundings and so peaceful

Me and my partner had a lovely weekend away with our dogs and we loved the place and the host! We thought the location was great close to the beach and pubs and also only a short drive into Rye and some lovely local restaurants! We had an amazing stay and the Raphael’e and her husband was excellent hosts! Very friendly and communicative and we would deffo come again xxx

Such a fantastic stay! We booked super last minute but everything was ready for us upon arrival along with a lovely welcome basket. We had such a great stay, the team were super friendly when I had any queries and the stay couldn't have been better! We're already planning our return!

I can’t recommend these lodges enough. We had a wonderful stay with our dogs. It is modern, spacious, comfortable and very peaceful. The location is minutes from Sainsbury’s and we were greeted with some goodies on our arrival.

The place looked just like in the pictures, very clean and welcoming and Linda's instructions to get to the place was excellent 👌. Linda was very helpful whenever we needed help with anything in the place 😊 the place is in a safe and great environment for a get away i will definitely stay there again and will recommend without any hesitations.

We loved it so much the first time we visited back in 2020, that we came back. And just like then, it was fantastic. The cottage is absolutely lovely, the whole farm is amazing, and it is just so nice to walk around, see the cows, absorb the nature. Topping it all: Ailse and "Farmer Phillip", as our kids kept calling him. they just make you feel so welcomed, like you're part of the family. Our boys had a great time, and have to say their favourite part was undoubtedly playing with Effie. Thank you again for welcoming us to your place, and being so loving and accommodating.

What a wonderful stay at Ruth's place! Ruth was there to help us check in and show us around when we arrived. The cabin is private and secluded, overlooking fields and greenery. Our kids loved spotting the deer, and the autumn mist in the mornings with the sun shining through was a pleasant view while making coffee. I needed to work during the stay, and the WiFi was fully adequate. At some point I felt like Snow white, watching the bunnies, squirrels, a resident robin and the pheasants pottering about from the living room window. Really a gem of a place, in quiet surrounds but still within easy reach of amenities. Would happily stay again!

The place exceeded my expectations. I was nervous about whether it would be big enough for 4 adults and 2 toddlers but was very pleased at how spacious it actually was. Loved the look and feel, the place warmed up nicely and retained its heat, very beautiful location. Everything we needed was provided. Very clean and comfortable. I would happily come back.

Wonderful stay. Very clean. Quiet and peaceful setting with view of the lake. Short walk to the clubhouse. Grandchildren enjoyed the soft play and swimming pool. Host Tracey responded quickly to our questions. Looking forward to booking again!

We had a lovely time at lily pad, the accommodation was perfect for our needs, lovely and clean, all the comforts of home, close to all the amenities, we would definitely be returning 😀

Have stayed at Holburne multiple times, direct through the site itself. This was a last minute booking due to a change of holiday plans, and the lodge was a modern as the holburne lets. Will definitely be booking this lodge again in the future
