Chalet vacation rentals in River Thames

Our second stay at Lisa’s chalet was lovely. Lisa was a perfect host who made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated the milk and biscuits that were left for us when we arrived. We’ve really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely be back again. ☺️

A lovely chalet, perfect for our family of 4, good value and had everything we needed for a weekend. The hot tub was a great touch, we loved it! And the kids loved the putting green.

Such a fantastic stay! We booked super last minute but everything was ready for us upon arrival along with a lovely welcome basket. We had such a great stay, the team were super friendly when I had any queries and the stay couldn't have been better! We're already planning our return!

I can’t recommend these lodges enough. We had a wonderful stay with our dogs. It is modern, spacious, comfortable and very peaceful. The location is minutes from Sainsbury’s and we were greeted with some goodies on our arrival.

The place looked just like in the pictures, very clean and welcoming and Linda's instructions to get to the place was excellent 👌. Linda was very helpful whenever we needed help with anything in the place 😊 the place is in a safe and great environment for a get away i will definitely stay there again and will recommend without any hesitations.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy sanctuary after a day of exploring. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, allowing us to enjoy the serene surroundings. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering great recommendations for local attractions and dining options. There is an on-site restaurant but we didn’t try it , next time. The location is ideal for both relaxation and adventure, with beautiful walking trails nearby and easy access to local attractions. Overall, our experience at South Winchester Lodge was remarkable, and we can’t wait to return for another getaway! Highly recommended.

The place exceeded my expectations. I was nervous about whether it would be big enough for 4 adults and 2 toddlers but was very pleased at how spacious it actually was. Loved the look and feel, the place warmed up nicely and retained its heat, very beautiful location. Everything we needed was provided. Very clean and comfortable. I would happily come back.

Fantastic stay at Tuftty Lodge. Such a lovely, large but cosy home and perfect for a Christmas getaway. Very responsive host and a beautiful area to explore. Thanks for everything Tracey, we will be back!

Clean, well equipped cabin with kitchen ideal for Xmas roast & even a Xmas tree provided. Also worked for Mum who uses a wheelchair. Helpful advice about nearby lovely Lake 32 for swimming & fun Boxing day dip. Great communication. Very happy stay! Thanks.

Wonderful stay. Very clean. Quiet and peaceful setting with view of the lake. Short walk to the clubhouse. Grandchildren enjoyed the soft play and swimming pool. Host Tracey responded quickly to our questions. Looking forward to booking again!

We all had an amazing Christmas at Lilly pad ,, the accommodation and location was just perfect , extremely clean and cosy, we cooked a Christmas lunch and made lots of amazing memories,, Tracey was the perfect host making sure everything went smoothly, even though we booked very last minute ,, Christmas Eve to be honest only leaving her a few hours to get our stay ready which she did perfectly, will definitely return,,

we had a great stay at Mick's place just before Christmas, check in was easy and Mick communicated everything well. he helped us with getting panto tickets so the kids had a great time watching that. the chalet is comfortable and heated up quickly so we were warm enough. this is our first visit to hobourne since the refurb and we loved the new play area and pool.
