Vacation rentals in River Tamar

Had a fabulous stay with an age range between 15 and 80 which is definitely difficult to please! The younger group Loved the gym and the pool on site and we visited lots of places in the local area including some great costal path walks.

stayed for 4nights with our dog as well. the caravan was great, but it was the location that made it for us. the beach was outstanding. Molly our dog just loved charging around the huge dog friendly area. It was nice to come back to and sit outside with a glass of wine despite a bit of dodgy wheather. The caravan was spacious and very well equipt, alltogether a very nice break.

Exceptionally well equipped and furnished annexe, comfortable bed and a great shower. Busy area, traffic-wise, yet quiet and peaceful inside. Countryside on the doorstep, paths leading to lovely country are very close. Mary and Steve are discreet, good at communicating. Definitely recommended!

We had a lovely stay, wish we could stay longer! Brixham is beautiful and so much to do, and the accommodation was perfectly situated, comfortable and full of character. Would recommend the Dartmouth Steam Railway, a trip to Totnes, the river cruise to Dartmouth, a walk around Berry Head or for the hardier walker the trail to Greenway and back. And for early risers it’s great to see a working fishing port in action. The harbour is so pretty at night, with lots of choices for fish n chips.

What a beautifully decorated and furnished little cottage. Modern amenities inside an old building. Felt cosy with rugs, carpets and curtains, pillows and plaid covers. Warm heating, plenty of hot water for showers and washing up. Kitchen fully equipped. Warm little touches to welcome us with tea bags and fresh milk in the fridge. Christmas decorations made it extra special. TV had plenty of channels to choose from. Comfortable sofas and kitchen chairs. Everything was really great. Can't beat the location at the end of the harbour, with view of the sea and coastline. Wow!

Unforgettable Stay During a Storm. We stayed at the “Seaview Retreat” in Westward Ho! during a stormy weekend, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences ever for our friend’s baby shower. The house was warm, cozy, and perfectly set up for celebrating and relaxing. Despite the wild weather, the property felt safe and inviting, thanks to the hosts’ amazing care and attentiveness. They went above and beyond to secure loose doors during the storm, ensuring we were comfortable and at ease. The amenities were fantastic, with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space for us to gather. Even with the dramatic weather, the coastal views were stunning and added a unique charm to our stay. The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided thoughtful recommendations for local takeaways and activities, making everything so easy. Our weekend was a huge success, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Highly recommend this property – we will definitely be back! - Monika x

We stayed for 3 nights- the cottage is compact and really well thought through with fun bathroom set up including a really nice tub in the room, and a TV both upstairs and in the living room. Melanie was very responsive, asked if we wanted milk in the fridge, gave clear instructions about accessing the property and provided useful recommendations for breakfast. The cottage is really central in Padstow so you can walk everywhere. There is a loading bay directly outside to unload cases and there is parking in council run car parks in east walking distance (we used Link Road car park which you can pay for parking for a week at a time) which made things easy!

I had an amazing stay at Jane’s villa! From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming and gave us great guidance throughout our stay. The villa was absolutely stunning, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a five-star level of cleanliness. Everything was perfectly organized, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time there. The view in the morning was breathtaking, and we truly had wonderful moments there. I highly recommend renting this place if you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful spot with amazing views. This place made for a great base and was good value; we were on a budget and it met all our needs. Beds were comfy and it never felt crowded with 7 of us staying. We could always get enough hot water and bedding and towels were clean. We never heard any noise outside or through walls. Sandra was very helpful and responsive and it was a lovely touch to arrive to milk, biscuits, tea and coffee.
