The Orchard Chalet superb amenities total privacy

Stayed for a couple of nights and it was really pleasant. Thelma had provided everything you’ll need and then some and the place is easily accessible and private. Highly recommend if looking for a place to stay in that area.

The Dovecote with private indoor hot tub!

CharlieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Booked our stay on the afternoon of arrival for a last minute getaway and Alan was happy, helpful and confirmed the booking within the hour. The house is well equipped with a full modern kitchen, a comfy bed and a stylish bathroom. Everything a couple could need. The hot tub was larger than expected, tucked away in a private room and a lovely touch so few other places offer. The only downsides were we were told there was an issue with the thermostat so the bathroom was as hot as a sauna as the radiator couldn't be turned down and the walls (in the bedroom especially) were stained with dirt or whatever else, which you wouldn't expect at a stay of this price.

Shepherd's hut on a farm with a hot tub & Alpacas

AnnaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Wonderful stay. Lynden accommodated all needs and helped make a birthday truly special. Couldn’t recommend more for a weekend stay. Hot tub was the highlight! Lovely and warm and looks over farms with plenty of animals, that are all super friendly.

Mallard Cabin and Marston Lodge

IanRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Host Chris was very welcoming and informative. Lodge was a lovely retreat for two in perfect location, very private and peaceful. Would highly recommend local farm shop Farndon Fields Market Harborough, great local produce and we ate a delicious breakfast there. Market Harborough itself worth a visit too. Local pub Coach & Horses Lubenham is under new management, very friendly and good selection of well kept beers. Would highly recommend, we are already looking to book again. Ian & Gee

'Shepherds Rest' our stunning shepherds hut.

SamRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

'Posie' at West View Farm Lodges

Eleonora NRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Another amazing stay at Dave’s Farm Lodge! This was our second time staying at Dave’s and it was just as perfect as we remembered — if not better. The place is peaceful, spotless, and beautifully set up with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You can tell Dave puts real care into every detail, from the cozy touches inside to the well-kept surroundings outside. Waking up to the quiet countryside and sipping coffee with those views is something we truly look forward to. Dave is a fantastic host — friendly, responsive, and respectful of privacy, but always there if you need anything. This has officially become one of our favorite getaway spots, and we already know we’ll be back again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind in a serene and welcoming space!

Beautiful barns with gorgeous hot tub

ShannonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a fantastic weekend here celebrating for a hen weekend! The place was perfect to accommodate a large group, big enough for communal socialising but also enough private spaces. Cathy was fantastic at communicating and was happy to provide extras where needed. Brilliant location, stunning views and easy to get to Cambridge centre! Would definitely stay here again.

Wooden cabin by river in rural Leicestershire.

TamsinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really enjoyed our stay and getting back to basics (although there is everything you need), and mainly cooking on the fire. But key was the kids absolutely loved it and the freedom. There was lots to do on site and it really was beautiful, especially being on the water in the canoes. It was also lovely to meet John and the others staying there at the time. We also had a great afternoon at the stunning Bradgate Park.

The Rabbit Warren Shepherd Hut

KatherineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had an amazing stay at the rabbit warren, it was absolutely spotless and really well equipped. The grounds of the estate are lovely for a little stroll and I got to meet the super friendly chickens who ran up to me to say hello!! Gemma left me some of their delicious eggs for breakfast which was a lovely touch. The outside bath with views of the lake was wonderful. One night just wasn’t enough so I’ll definitely be returning.

If you're looking for a place to relax, this is the place to go! Firstly, Amy took such good care of us. Secondly, the weather was nice (surprisingly) so, we went on lots of long walks with our dog. The cabin has everything you need and I promise you, you'll sleep like a baby! Woodnewton is avery peaceful place. Everyone is very welcoming! If you stay here you must try the local pub, the white swan!

Luxury Cabin in the Woods

AsaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a lovely 2 night stay at briarwood. The cabin was warm and cosy and had everything we needed. The views are beautiful from the cabin and it’s worth lighting the firepit and watching the sun set over the hills. Great location, easy to cycle to Rutland water, nice local pubs and a short bus ride to Stamford. Thank you to our hosts. We had a great stay and would definitely come again.

Waterfront wooden Lodge with Hot Tub (Fox Lodge)

ThomasRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Our stay in Fox Lodge was perfect. If we could give 6 stars, we would! The cabin was completely kitted out; logs for the multiple fires were stocked, the hot tub was hot upon arrival and there was even some fresh bits of food waiting for us! The other lodge was a good distance away, with a shed between to aid privacy. Graham and Allison were brilliant hosts who left us to enjoy our stay whilst being on hand with anything we needed help with. If you're looking for a remote cabin in the woods that's private but not too far away from any help, look no further! Thank you so much

Shepherd hut -secluded riverside location

SimonRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Helen's hut was exactly what I needed while in Cambridge. It was quiet, calm, peaceful. A great comfortale bed, bathroom and kitchen. Really nice decorations. Helen was lovely to speak to - both when booking and when checking in. It's a shame I didn't get to talk with her more. She provided local knowledge and just left me to myself - which was exactly what you need after long days in the office. I would definitely stay again if Helen would have me.

‘The Lodge’ A hideaway for Nature Lovers

RalucaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The place is a little gem very private with beautiful surroundings and it has a gas Bbq next to a sitting area behind the cabin. This enables you to spend a lot of time outdoors and enjoy the quietness of the spot. The cabin is small but very well laid out and it has all the amenities you need, kitchen utensils and even an air fryer. The bed is good sized and the matress is to die for. You will sleep like a baby!! Lee and her husband have been very welcoming and made us very comfortable during our stay and gave us really amazing tips on what we can visit and restaurants in the area! Overall a great experience for us and I will highly recommend for a short stay!!

SoniaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful place, me and mum loved our stay. Helen was very friendly and welcoming. It was so lovely sitting in the lovely garden, sun all day, we enjoyed our breakfast out there listening too and watching the birds. The place is very comfy, clean, just everything about it we loved. The restaurant a stones throw away was good too. Can't wait to come back for another stay. Thanks Helen
