Vacation rentals with a pool in River Dart

Helen’s places was one of the most comfortable and well equipped places I have stayed in. A short distance from the costal path and within walking distance of Brixham harbour. I would highly recommend it.

Eight of us stayed in Rose Cottage for a long weekend - four adults, four kids. Plenty of room, 5 bedrooms, great showers! Very comfortable, very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the linen was as new. The seating in the drawing rooms was also very comfortable, which is not always the case in my experience. Reception (Brad) were very welcoming and very helpful. A really, very nice atmosphere all round. Great views of the sea. The hill is very steep, great for stamina building. Wish we'd had longer, want to go back!!! Thank you Brad et al.

We had a delightful week-long stay at Hameldown, which proved to be perfectly suited for our larger family group, consisting of 4 adults and 4 children. The site offered amazing facilities - the kids absolutely loved the pool and the play area. Despite not having the best weather during our stay, we were never short on activities locally, we particularly liked Canonteign Falls, Kents Cavern and Paignton Zoo. During our stay the boiler broke but Geoff was great at trying to get it sorted, he got the hot water working really quickly and arranged extra firewood for the log burner. He was super friendly and helpful - Highly recommend!

Great van, good value, fully equipped with everything you could need.

Had a wonderful time here with my partner, our puppy and a few friends. It’s quiet and peaceful with plenty of space. We even had a little welcome entourage of grouse who scampered along the lane in front of the car!

Enjoyable stay perfect for the dog.

We had a lovely stay at the Dart Valley Cottages. The location is great and the property looks out onto beautiful hills. Having the use of the facilities at the Hotel is a real plus. We have young children and they are only allowed in the pool in the morning and later in the afternoon but this worked well for us as it allowed us to plan our day around a swim first thing or last thing. Such good value for what you get and the location is great for exploring the locals towns and villages or getting up on Dartmoor for a walk. Highly Recommend a stay here.

We had such a wonderful week in Berry Pomeroy. The accommodation was a wing of a manor house, and had a completely private and secluded feel with an enormous garden. The kids were entertained the whole week with a trampoline, row boat, chess set, table tennis, games room and a lovely garden to explore. We just loved the main Kitchen/Dining/Living room which is an elegant and very comfortable space to socialise, and even with 9 of us it felt so spacious! This accommodation feels like a home from home. Antonia and Rob were so helpful and responsive and they were ideal hosts. There are plenty of different areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings outside. The property is a little tricky to find but as long as you follow the instructions carefully its fine. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return again.

The apartment was very clean, and had everything we needed. It’s a great location just behind the main road and also within the apartment block itself. The walls are extremely thin, but we did have quiet every night from approx 11pm. Laura was very responsive and have great instructions. She was a great host.

We had a fantastic holiday, the apartment was amazing, so welcoming, great decor and furnishings and was very clean and tidy. My daughter loved the pool. The apartment was in an ideal location and it was easy to walk to local places and see the gorgeous scenery. Dee left a very useful folder with lots of information, ideas for places to visit as well as local restaurants. We would love to visit again in the future.

The caravan was lovely and clean. The actual site had everything you needed and for a short drive or walk to the pier there was lots to do. Caroline was a great host, very responsive and friendly. We would love to stay again sometime.

Another brilliant week in Bigbury-a beautifully kept apartment in the most fantastic location!

The location was within walking distance of most of the places we wanted to go. Having off-street parking is an absolute bonus in Exeter, and having room for 2 cars was fantastic. The proeprty has been modernised, itwas clean with good natural light and was excellent value. If we require accommodation in Exeter again, we would be trying to book here again

Excellent place, well equipped, they have well thought out the accommodation and a very nice few extras as we stayed over Christmas - thank you for that, very much appreciated. Loved it, a lovely, peaceful break with our two small dogs, plenty of space to walk them both and a pooh bin was present too in the grounds. Pool and Snooker fab. Thanks.
