We made a late booking for a weekend away and stayed 2 nights. The property is in a very good location just opposite the pub in a lovely small village. Good walks are available from the door and we enjoyed the pub in Byland as well as the one across the road which offers a nice menu of food as well as a good atmosphere. The cottage is very tasteful, spacious and well equipped. The bed was comfy so we slept well. The lounge is large with nice furniture and the kitchen is very pleasant with a pine dining table etc. Jackie looked after us very well and provided milk, cake and biscuits for us which we appreciated. Overall, an excellent stay.

Lovely cottage garden was very dog friendly. Beautiful village with lots of amenities. Great dog walks, Roseberry topping a great challenge!Everything you need on your doorstep and great place to visit the lovely beaches. Would definitely recommend.

Bridge Street cottage was a fabulous location, well equipped. Beautiful bedrooms, comfortable beds and lovely linen. Plenty of living space. The conservatory was cosy with wood burner lit on the coldest of evenings. Olivia was a great host and provided excellent information. Would return.
