What a stunning location to spend Christmas. We had a wonderful time, Caroline was very friendly & helpful. We saw so many red squirrels, they came up onto the decking every morning for nuts, it was such a delight. Hot tub was lovely once on, does take a lot of wood & kindling to get going but so worth it. The view every morning was beautiful, walks nearby & pubs are great. It was the best way to decompress after a difficult year, may have overindulged but the fresh air & walks countered that out!! We have decided we will visit again, usually we stay places once but this has created such lovely memories for us I think it will hold a special place in the future for us to visit. Thanks again - perfect.

Food in the restaurant was beautiful and reasonably priced…. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again

Brilliant host, extremely helpful and proactive in anything we needed assistance with. The location was peaceful, just what we was looking for in a getaway to the countryside. Local walks within a stones throw distance which was perfect. Overall very satisfied with everything, and the hot tub was a nice addition. Would definitely stay again.

A really lovely and comfortable lodge which the hosts have beautifully decorated and added quirky finishing touches. We had a lovely stay and were welcomed with treats and handwritten note. Easy to find and access. The site is well kept and a good location for exploring the lakes and surrounding area.

Beautifully clean, well managed and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. I am a regular Airbnb traveller and would rate this place as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places I have stayed. The place was exceptionally clean, warm and had everything i needed to feel at home, and with easy parking too. Also walkable to a swimming pool, gym and sports facilities, which was handy, and few steps to a restaurant. Communication was great. I would highly recommend this wonderful lodge

What an incredibly, thoughtful and stunning place. It is an absolute dream place and space for anxious dogs and their even more anxious owners. The thought to that has gone in to creating a safe and wonderful break for our delicate little souls is so heartwarming in such times like these. Everything from the generosity of the hosts , the impeccable living area. , amazing space to park and still so much grass in the secure enclosure for little legs to run free .

Had the most perfect nights stay! The hut was super private and was right next to a river which was a beautiful sound to fall asleep to😍 Everything was as described, breakfast was provided which was super generous and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We did get a little unlucky with the weather but there was plenty of board games and books which kept us entertained for the evening and was such a lovely break from our phones! The fire keeps the hut really cosy and warm too. Exceeded expectations and there was absolutely nothing to fault and we will definitely be back in the summer! Stayed for 3 nights in one of the Deluxe Dens. Accommodation was fantastic, Silverdale site is clean, tidy and peaceful. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Had such a good time, when we got back home, we booked again for next year.

Great 5 night stay. The Lodge is just as listed, very clean, super comfy, well equipped and lovely and warm for our autumn break. Really appreciated the little touches like fresh flowers, Halloween cakes, dog treats and the duck feed. Great location for exploring the Lakes, Dales and Coast all within a 30 min drive. Great communication from the moment we booked. Thank you for a great stay.

We had a wonderful weekend stay in the Bluebird lodge. The lodge had all the necessary amenities and beautiful surroundings. Karina was a very helpful host, proactive and responsive to any queries. I will be recommending to friends and family.

Perfect accommodation & host.

Really enjoyed our stay, the views of the lake was peaceful and calming. Only advice I would say is make sure to bring bug spray as once it starts getting dark they’re out in force. But that’s not a complaint as we still loved our stay

The lodge is the perfect base to explore the south lakes and beyond. It is set in a quiet cul-de-sac with a stream running behind. It is spacious and very cosy to come back to after a long day exploring. The thing that sets it apart from other lodges I've stayed is that Kim provides all the essentials that you would expect from other lodges but don't normally get. When we arrived the heating was already on so we could unpack and settle for a cosy night. Everything you need in a home away from home is in the lodge. Just bring the food and drink and its the perfect hideaway for a long weekend or even a week. Kim answered any questions or queries quickly no matter how big or small. I would 100% recommend booking. The only problem we had is that we now want a lodge of our own so we never have to leave.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at lodge 18 and even though you’re close to the other lodges, it was so peaceful. Paul messaged to say we could check in 3 hours earlier if we wanted to which we took advantage of! The beds were extremely comfortable and me and my daughter slept soundly each night. We would highly recommend this holiday lodge for sure.
