Very cozy place to stay in

Manuel and his parent’s are wonderful hosts! Manuel is very responsive, helpful and considerate. The apartment is small, clean and comfortable. It had the amenities that I was looking for and a lovely little courtyard. It was perfect for me as it was in close proximity to a friend’s place that I was visiting, near a number of stores, a bakery and a market where I was able to purchase groceries for my stay. The neighborhood is just outside of the bustle of Centro which was appealing for me. I didn’t mind walking down and back and often took the bus, which is very close, to get around. It’s a gem and I would choose to stay here again the next time I visit- if it’s available! Thank you, Manuel. 🙂

The building is beautiful. The location is very calm and quiet but a 10 minute drive to local shops, restaurants etc. We cannot fault our stay at Oscars place. Sergio, Oscars brother, was nearby and was incredibly helpful. Even dropped us a bottle of wine for New Year’s Eve. Space is well equipped, roof top view is to die for, comfiest bed and all round perfect stay. Also the building is incredibly beautiful.

We ended up staying for 2 months. Its such a great central place,20 mins by bus to Oaxaca, 5 mins to the carraterra and then a collectivo to heaps of small towns. Jaime and his lovely wife Claudia are so friendly and kind, any issues were resolved within the day. All in all a wonderful Airbnb in a lovely puebla.
