Great spot to discover Bendigo. Easy to get to and only 10 minutes into the city. Cottage was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay.

This beautifully renovated cottage lives up to its review status with style and elegance. As you approach this accomodation, located in a peaceful idyllic part of Castlemaine, the well manicured cottage garden leads to an Edwardian veranda. Once inside, the very well presented rooms give you a feeling of calm with tasteful furnishings and an indication that much thought has been given to every detail. This very high standard is obvious in the dual bedrooms and bathrooms.The quality of the bedding, bathroom towels and accompanying soaps etc is exceptional. The kitchen likewise is well equipped with all cooking facilities that you will need as well as foodie items for your first night. A brief walk and you are in the main township to a lovely restaurant named ‘Wild,’ located in an old ex fire station building and ‘Lazy Bones’ cafe. You will want to stay in this cottage for its 10+ rating and the caring involvement of its superhost, Roberta, who brings an artistic touch to every area.

Henry’s Cottage is a slice of heaven and you can feel the love that has gone into making it so. The cottage has everything you’ll need, it’s lovely and clean, quiet, the air is fresh, the beds are sooo comfortable, kitchen is well-equipped, amazing big bath, etc etc! Sally is a super helpful and kind host with great local recommendations (eg a beautiful natural swimming hole). Can’t wait to return ❤️
