Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Reading

We used the house for a week as part of a team building session for 5 and chosen carefully as 1 team member is in a wheelchair(me) The instructions were great and it was easy to find once you had the instructions! but a nightmare for Taxi's/Uber who all failed the location. Fortunately the "Pineapple pub" was a good pickup point for booked Taxis' and only 2 mins walk from the house. They do AMAZING sandwiches and Pizza! The layout was perfect as it had 2 bedrooms downstairs and a wet room with a shower. Being open plan the pool table, kitchen, lounge and dinning area worked perfectly. The American fridge/freezer and kitchen were well and we spent a lot of time around the kitchen island. The lounge sofa is huge! and has a gas fire (Only for the owner:-( ) however the underfloor and central heating worked well. The TV was linked to the biggest sound system I have seen and the numerous speakers around the house ensured that many Spotify playlists were enjoyed

The house was beautiful and clean. It was also spacious, homely and very well equipped - everything you need for a comfortable stay. Vicki was very responsive when I needed to ask a question, and left clear instructions for arrival and departure. I would definitely book again if I were ever in the area. Thanks Vicki!

Our family made Ian's place our temporary home for a few months whilst we were moving. Ian was an amazing host. Always responsive and going above and beyond to try and accommodate any of our requests. The house is very clean and well appointed. It had everything our family needed. Thanks to Ian our transition to our new home was made easier and we had so many fantastic memories at the house.

Michael was an incredibly welcoming host and was very responsive and helpful with questions we had. The property was lovely and as advertised. We really enjoy our stay!

Again, we really enjoyed our stay at Van’s. It is a quiet and spacious property, just what we needed. The house has all the amenities required, including an ice machine and built in coffee machine

The house is in a perfect, very quiet setting 5 minutes drive from the centre of Marlow. Eva’s communication was great and we were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Great house, perfect setting, relaxing break, thank you.

Imran is truly an excellent host: friendly, respectful & extremely responsive! My family & I had the pleasure of meeting Imran personally & immediately got along with him! Although we stayed for less than a week, we had a great stay at this property & I could see us enjoying longer vacations there. Located in a quiet area, only a 15-20 minute drive from the airport (LHR), it comfortably fits larger groups. While we did initially have an issue, it was very obvious that Imran was surprised by it himself. He personally showed up & took care of everything!

Brilliant apartment and easy to get to. Jamie is a fab host and kept in touch from the start. We stayed for a visit to Lapland UK and only a short 15/20 min drive from the apartment so excellent location for anyone visiting there! Apartment is exactly as seen on the pictures and has been well looked after. Thank you for having us Jamie!

Prepare yourself for a 5 star experience including the best night sleep in a luxurious bed with soft linen and great pillows. You will have everything you need for a comfortable stay including well equipped kitchen where you can prep a nice meal. James is very friendly and helpful. If you fancy a walk countryside is 5 min walk, if you prefer exploring Henley is about 20 min walk. Highly recommended! Thank you James

Paul’s listing was just what we needed. Easy access to all transportation, rail, bus, airport. Walking distance to grocery store and local town. Paul was available for questions and very friendly. Thank you for sharing your home with us . Given opportunity I would certainly stay there again. It provided us with a convenient , comfortable location to attend a family reunion.

Beautiful place! Warm, cozy and clean.

Easy from the outset - booking, communication, finding the property and getting in, all very clear with no issues at all. The property is well laid out and comfortable. It also benefits from easy links to all local towns and places to eat out.

Great location - ease of access to train station and public transport. Parking space right outside the property was ideal. All in all a great property and an ideal base to explore the area.

The apartment was perfect for our family. Walking distance to the shops and train station which is the fast train to London and free parking to make life easier for parking our hire car. Apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. Vincent and Nazar were very responsive to any queries we had before and during the stay.

We had a lovely weekend stay. The flat was great and just what we needed. Comfortable beds, clean and the kitchen/lounge space was nicely decorated and relaxing. Easy walk into Windsor and along the river and a few local restaurants for evening meals.

The Bothy was perfect, warm, cosy ,clean and with everything we could have needed. It is so peaceful and quiet. The nearest pun, The Palmer's Arms serves delicious food. We walked from the accommodation along the Thames to Eton and Windsor.

Compact and comfortable. Nice and clean. Beautiful garden and nature surroundings, whilst being not far away from cafes and shops. Peaceful. I loved waking up to the morning views out the front window.

Fantastic experience at Jonathan’s . Wonderful host and always responsive before during and after our stay . The place is spotless and is in a superb location to explore the wonders of Windsor. Easy access and in a very safe area very close to the castle. Kitchen has all you need plus more , bathroom and shower are perfect and the heating throughout the building was superbly controlled by the in-house thermostat. All in all I would highly recommend Jonathan’s place if you’re thinking on visiting this beautiful part of the world. Wonderful host and I would definitely be looking to book here again when I return .

David was the ultimate host—even meeting us at the door which is unheard of in our Airbnb travels. His flat was full of the most thoughtful touches including breakfast food, snacks, and everything we could ever need on the kitchen. Tons of extras that went above and beyond in our experience. Great neighborhood with two grocery stores and our favorite pub, The Holly Blue in walking distance. Very close to the bus stop as well. We would love to stay again the next time we are in Basingstoke to visit our friends.
