We stayed as a family and used it as a base to visit Beamish. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Also great to have parking right outside.

Had a lovely one nights stay with friends for a 40th Birthday! The pods were really spacious and felt really cosy. The hosts were brilliant, helped with decorations and ensuring the pod was available for the timings we had asked for. Lovely stay and would 100 percent recommend!

Everything was absolutely great from booking to leaving, the only thing I could fault is the WIFI, I was hoping to do some work whilst I was away but that and the tv wouldn’t work. But everything wise was brilliant ☺️

We booked plum cottage for a winter weekend away and it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. The cottage is in gorgeous surroundings with the river next door and Witton castle and low barns nature reserve within walking distance. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and I thought the kitchen was very well appointed with an air fryer and slow cooker as well as the usual things. The cottage was also lovely and warm due to the underfloor heating. Mark was very welcoming when we arrived and gave us lots of recommendations. Bev was very responsive very text and they both kindly met us at check out, which was a lovely personal touch. We would absolutely recommend plum cottage and would love to come back when the days are longer.
