If you think Hong kong is just crowded streets and shopping centres, come and stay at John's place in Ting Kau, a slice of paradise in the middles of the madness. First of all it's on a beach. A beach with clean sand and lifeguards. So yes, you can swim - it's amazingly clean for one of the busiest harbours in the world. Secondly, Time Kau is a village. With generations of the same families living in a very close community. There are children & dogs running around - and all very friendly. Next, it's a village without roads - only footpaths leading up to the main road at the top. So get used to walking up stairs ... which is all part of what makes it so quiet and unique. After a few days we found that there's a lift up to the main road if you need to carry heavy stuff - we used it when leaving and had a taxi pick us up in the carpark - much easier. John's place is small but fully functional. Brilliant balcony, great shower and a comfortable bed. And the views are incredible!!

Had a nice stay, close to metro station. Nice room and Ethan gave good instructions.
