Luxury Duplex with Nature Views

WendyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The property is in a modern gated estate which is clean, private and secure. It is a very short short walk from the property to the HKUST (north) bus terminus for light buses, KMB buses and taxis, so has good transport links into the local towns of Po Lam and Hang Hau for local shopping or to connect to the metro lines into the city. The property itself is very spacious and all en-suite, with an additonal couple of guest toilets, and air conditioning is effective throughout. We needed a property with a good kitchen to cook our own meals due to dietary requirements, and the kitchen did not disappoint - it had all that was needed to cook meals for a family of seven. The only thing missing was a dish-washer, but that was a minor point. If arriving at the property by taxi, direct the driver to the back entrance to the estate on University Road (first entrance on the right). Would strongly recommend this excellent property and would not hesitate to stay again.
A stylish living area features a glass coffee table at its center, surrounded by decorative seating. Plants are placed strategically, and a staircase leads to an upper level. Artwork, including a vintage poster and colorful textiles, adds character to the space.

Tranquil apartment in Lamma Island (Hong Kong)

AnnaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved our stay at Francesca’s place! The decor is beautiful and the location is perfect - close to the Lamma ferry pier but out of the way of the crowds. Francesca herself was responsive, friendly and understanding of our needs. We would love to stay here again! The outdoor patio is an added plus.
A serene beach scene features soft golden sand gently meeting clear blue waters. Lush green hills rise in the background, dotted with boats anchored in the bay. The tranquil atmosphere invites relaxation, with no signs of crowds in the expansive natural setting.

Hong Kong Village House

Polly’s beautiful home is a wonderful respite from our city homes. The house is adequately furnished with all the amenities you need, the beds are comfortable and the sounds of nature wakes you up in the morning. The kitchen is well furnished (stove, oven n microwave) should you be cooking your meals there. Communication with Polly is also fast and efficient. We would love to come back and stay again if the house is available.

Lake House with stunning sea view in Sai Kung

GloriaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Jean-Pierre and Dora are extremely proactive in making us feel welcome and were super helpful with whatever we needed. Their helper Charie is the warmest person you could ever ask for to greet you after a long journey. She is both available and discrete. The pictures on the listing do not do the house and the view justice. Highly recommended!

Renovated Apartment with 2 rooms - Kennedy Town!

IgorRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Convenient location, just two minutes from the Kennedy Town MTR station. Plenty of restaurants, shops, banks, etc. around. The Kennedy Town swimming pool, 7-8 minutes away, is a gem, especially from mid-April through the end of October, when the outdoor pool is open (google the pictures). There is a hiking trail cross the road from the apartment, up steep hills and stairs all the way to Victoria Peak. The living room faces a busy street, but with the windows closed you cannot hear anything. There is no noise in the bedroom. Both AC units are very quiet. The host, property manager, and housekeeper are all doing an outstanding job. The apartment is fully stocked with everything from kitchen utensils to laundry detergent, a generous stack of towels, coffee capsules, and more. Communication was excellent – all my queries were answered instantly. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free.

Cozy apartment with terrace

XuRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I used to live nearby more than 10 years ago, so for me upper Mid-Levels has sentimental value. Federica's place really hit the spot, it's compact but has a nice outdoor terrace, it's a bit cluttered but has a lot of personality. It is rare these days to stay in a "real" Airbnb that is not a hotel flat. For those who love to cook Federica has tons of utensils and even an oven (rarity in HK)! The place is right on top of the Escalators and has great access to Central, a fun walk down to Admiralty via the botanical garden (do not miss!), and is walkable or tram-able to the Peak. There's plenty of food on the way up, from Alice pizza and Butao ramen, to One Dim Sum and CitySuper down in the IFC. I think the place has a lot of potential for those who seek to stay around a more cosmopolitan area and enjoy vibrant Hong Kong life.
A modern kitchen corner features a sleek stove with three burners, situated above a built-in oven. A stainless steel towel hangs neatly on the front of the oven, while a metallic trash bin is positioned nearby, reflecting a minimalist design.

Lovely 1-Bedroom Flat with gorgeous views

LuciaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Nicolas is a very helpful and friendly host. He gave us a detailed instruction on how to get to the place and what restaurants and attractions around the area. We are a family of 4 so the place is not big for us but has everything we need. We stayed quite comfortably and love the top floor balcony which has the great view. You do need to climb a few flights of stairs to get to the unit. A short walk through the buffalo path where you can see the buffalos along the path is the bus stop. A lots of hiking tracks around the area. Overall a nice place to stay.
A dark glass bottle of hand wash is displayed on a neutral background alongside a textured white pot housing a green plant. A ribbed green glass tumbler complements the arrangement, enhancing the serene and tidy aesthetic.

My family and I had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone looking to spend time by the beach in Hong Kong. Iris was very proactive in communicating before and during the trip. Our vacation felt like home in Hong Kong.

Your guide to Hong Kong

All About Hong Kong

Bustling Hong Kong is far more than a megacity and financial capital: Located on southeastern corner of Mainland China, it comprises hundreds of islands, the Kowloon Peninsula, and the New Territories. Set amid rolling hills, soaring mountains, and the glistening waters of the South China Sea, the urban landscape of Hong Kong shows many different faces. Sparkly skyscrapers are ringed by narrow alleyways full of shops and markets, and throughout the city, you’ll find remnants of Hong Kong’s past as a British colony, mixed with its Cantonese heritage.

Here, historic buildings have been transformed into upscale shopping malls, and Buddhist temples peek out between high-rise apartment buildings. Beyond the buzzing activity of Hong Kong and Kowloon, you’ll find jaw-droppingly beautiful scenery, including lush forests, white-sand beaches, and even the ruins of 19th-century villages.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Hong Kong

A petty little issue like weather does not slow Hong Kong down. During the summer, the city is a steambath; however, most places are air-conditioned, providing a chance to cool down quickly. Although summer is the monsoon season, the hard rains pass quickly, so most days are still filled with sunshine. The lovely weather in spring and fall make for a great time to explore Hong Kong’s hiking trails or head to the beach on one of the Outlying Islands. Winter can get a little chilly but don’t worry — you will only need to throw on a sweater or light jacket.

Top things to do in Hong Kong

Victoria’s Peak

Take the iconic Hong Kong tram up the mountain to Victoria’s Peak, high above Central. From the peak, you can see both Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. If you’re feeling hardier, you can also hike up to the peak on the Old Peak Road, a well-maintained walkway that passes by beautiful historic mansions and offers expansive vistas along the way.

Mong Kok

The bustling, ever-crowded Mong Kok neighborhood is home to several markets selling all manner of necessities, from fresh seafood to homewares. As you wander the crowded streets, the swaggering smells of stinky tofu and fish balls fill the air. This is Hong Kong at its most raw, buzzing with cacophonous noise, conversation, and culinary prowess.

Dragon’s Back

While Hong Kong offers endless hiking trails, one of the most famous is the Dragon’s Back. This stunning trail takes you up and over the tree-covered Shek O Peak to the southern shore of Hong Kong Island. It finishes at Big Wave Bay, where you can go for a quick swim in the South China Sea to cool down and then seek out fresh seafood.
