Places to stay in Province of Modena

Arianna & Fulvio were very professional hosts, super responsive (communication was great) and incredibly friendly. The place had everything we needed. We arrived late in the evening, Fulvio came to meet us and took us up to the apartment. Top floor with a heavy suitcase was manageable but do take it into account. Fulvio offered to help but it was no problem for us. The apartment was very clean and they even left us some fruit and a bottle of wine. Location is not in the historic centre but we actually liked that. Avoids the crowds, gave us a real sense of the other side of Bologna and was close enough for an easy walk into town. Very conveniently located close to the central station as well if you’re travelling by train. We would be happy to recommend this place!

The accommodation was good, the bed was comfortable, in a great location, close to the bus station, but the city center can also be walked in. The kitchen is not very well equipped. And every sound can be heard from the staircase attached to the apartment. The apartment doesn't face the street, so it's basically quiet, but the noise from the staircase is clearly audible.

We had a great stay in Bologna. The apartment was comfortable, practical and in a great location, in the middle of historic Bologna.

Good location for my needs, close to restaurants and services in Lizzano (a few min down the road by car). Clean, well supplied, quiet neighborhood. Liviana left a small cake for breakfast or snacking. The only tricky part is finding the property. For check in it's best to park across the road then you go across and down the hill, she can explain how to get the car down there, Google maps struggles with how you get to the tiny road that goes all the way to the house. Great stay.

In six people (4 adults and 2 children) we spent one night in Romano's house and the stay was very pleasant. Romano was flexible regarding check-in and check-out. The apartment was clean, the beds comfortable, and in the living room a fireplace heated the room. The house is a 10-minute drive from downtown Sestola and a 15-minute drive from Fanano.

The hosts are very friendly and attentive and the cozy accommodation very close to the city center!

Charming apartment really! Everything is very clean and well furnished, Lucia was very available to help us with check-in, great value for money and the area is very quiet. Approved!

There is no better place to stay than La Selvatica. It’s my 4th visit and I can’t stop coming back. It’s genuine, inviting, and just such a special place. If you want an authentic Italian experience this is the place.
