Places to stay in Province of Modena

Beautiful apartment! The bed (1.60 m) and the pillows are very comfortable, we slept very well! We also loved the mosquito net, so you could open the window without hesitation. Since we arrived by train, we were happy about the great location within walking distance of the train station (15 min) and downtown (20-25 min). Thanks for the great place to stay!

Very clean and comfortable place, in a great location, convenient for walking sports in the city center. The directions received for the listing were clear and check-in was quick and easy. The luggage storage service is also very convenient. All great!

Good location for my needs, close to restaurants and services in Lizzano (a few min down the road by car). Clean, well supplied, quiet neighborhood. Liviana left a small cake for breakfast or snacking. The only tricky part is finding the property. For check in it's best to park across the road then you go across and down the hill, she can explain how to get the car down there, Google maps struggles with how you get to the tiny road that goes all the way to the house. Great stay.

It’s a lovely place, furnished with a good taste and equipped with all I needed during my stay. A beautiful Montecuccolo castle is within walking distance by one of CAI route, and, overall, the area is full of nicely labelled hiking trailes.

There is no better place to stay than La Selvatica. It’s my 4th visit and I can’t stop coming back. It’s genuine, inviting, and just such a special place. If you want an authentic Italian experience this is the place.

Luca was great to work with. We specifically chose a country location that would be a peaceful retreat after spending time touring Florence and Bologna (side tip - we were driving, but to avoid the hassle of parking in the cities, we found a station a few stops away & parked free without negotiating the crazy city parking/rules). The house is very cozy and “warm”, the remodel of this 300 yr old house is really spectacular. I will say that the best way to truly enjoy the visit is to embrace the journeys getting to the house!
