A truly memorable stay in a quintessential small Douro valley village. The place is as described and a true gem. The dinner paired with wines was a highlight of our stay as was the company. Highly recommend. Beware however that cell service as you enter the remote hamlet with very narrow lanes may be lost rendering your gps useless. Luckily we found service near the church and Jet came and escorted us to her place which is not the easiest to find.

What a beautiful location, the area is just gorgeous. In between the vineyards. I was traveling solo and did not have a car, so I walked around in the area and it was beautiful to explore around. From the Airbnb to the center was about 35 min walk. Sansão was very helpful, he advised some nice Quinta’s to visit and ordered a taxi for me when to depart. It was a very pleasant stay, I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. The bed was not very comfortable for me, as I am used to sleep on very soft mattresses. But apart from that, the best place to stay in the Douro region with so much silence and beauty of nature around you, magical!✨
