Villa vacation rentals in Praia de Mira

We had a fantastic week at this restful and special location. We particularly enjoyed all the outdoor space and garden, which was beautiful. Armando’s recommendations were really helpful in making it a great holiday. Highlights were the waterfall at Cabreia, the veal, bacon and chorizo skewer at the Quinta do Barco restaurant and the beaches near Costa Nova. Thank you - I’m sure we’ll be back.

We had a great time Kevin is a very responsive host. The house totally matched our expectations and description. Everything was perfect. For ideas for improvement, an air conditioning in the house and an outdoor toilet when you get out of the pool would be perfect.

This is a very thoughtfully decorated and equipped villa. Beds and sofa were very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped with proper knives and utensils. Appliances were high quality and everything simply worked. Space also equiped for a family, with a high chair, baby bed and even some toys for the garden and beach. Beach is a 30 min walk or 8 min drive and so is the nearest town.. We enjoyed walking to town through the pine forest, so peaceful. The host is extremely responsive and kind and also has Sabene the property manager living in the neighborhood for quick response issues. We had the intercom system malfunction and made a loud sound - Sabene showed up in 10 minutes and sorted it out. To summarize - highly recommended for a short or long stay if you're looking for peace and quiet.

Our stay here was exactly what we needed, quiet, peaceful and a place to relax as a family whilst being local to larger towns. Our host, Adriana, was extremely responsive with all communication and very helpful. If we needed anything or had questions they were dealt with quickly including help with local amenities and suggestions. Everything was clean and tidy. The living space and bedrooms all excellent sizes. Local village very peaceful but only a 5 minute drive from the main town and roads. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa and would definitely use again.

Great place and well maintained. A few flaws were found, but these can be fixed and we were informed that they will be fixed.

The house is super well equipped and cared for. All bedrooms (the 8) have wc. Luisa is super friendly and let us check out a little later. The only downside was the pool being shared with the other house, everything else perfect :)

This was a wonderful location for us to enjoy our stay. Silvia and the team were so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The house was absolutely perfect for our stay with the family and we would love to return. We couldn't believe how close we were to all the amenities and the wonderful city of Coimbra. Thank you.

We had a fantast stay Quinta da Fogueira! Probably our best Air BNB experience of all time. The house was simply magical and the pictures do not do it justice. We had a group of nine and had more than enough space including a private bathroom for each of the main rooms. The grounds are amazing including a pool, basketball and tennis court. We also loved the view of the vineyard in the background. The house is also very accommodating to kids with several pack and plays, crib, high chair and plastic plates, bowls, etc. Highly recommend!

You've exceeded expectations! RiaEncontros has become a new home for us, and we hope to return soon. Vitó and the family are the exact translation of what we call hospitality and created a space with everything we needed for a team retreat where we can have spaces to work as a team, to relax, to have moments of leisure, to cook great meals (from the best-equipped kitchens I've ever seen), including barbecue with all that is needed! Great space to also receive our four-legged compinchas and where in addition to team moments we can find multiple locations for each person to abstract from the group and recharge. We also had the pleasure of taking a walk in the surrounding nature with the hosts, which was a time of great sharing and recharging of energy in a space with impressive beauty. Thanks!

We had an amazing stay. The house is beautifully appointed, with excellent linens and top of the line appliances, and was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. It’s a very unique and comfortable house with an incredible view and an interesting history. The lot is carved into the side of the escarpment flowing down to a long and dramatic beach. The beach walks were wonderful.

We were staying 3 families, 6 adults and 6 children and I have to say the house is spacious, clean and modern. It's one of the few houses that don't do the photos justice, it's much better when you arrive. Jose is very friendly when we enter I teach us and explain all the features of the house and when we were very friendly, I really recommend her 100%. We had up to Christmas tree, a lot of detail, and the pool super clean even though we don't bathe, and there is a barbecue.

This place is peaceful and surrounded by nature with lots of trees and singing birds, includind the chickens that create an "quinta" atmosphere. The accommodations were clean and cozy, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and caring. I highly recommend this countryside gem for a relaxing escape.

Steven was a perfect host and very attentive to our comfort in his beautiful family property. We immediately felt at home. The outdoor space is large, well arranged and pleasant. The multiple friendly interactions with Steven have enriched our vacation with an amazing human experience. Bravo and thank you again. We recommend 100%.

Ideal place to be quiet in the middle of nature Sr Antonio and wife D. Custódia are very friendly people and always available for us to help and we make it feel good Cleaning level the house was 5* Pool Zone 5* all very well organized and careful we will certainly go back 🙂
