After a week of hotel stays it was so nice to decompress in a home and do laundry! It was just the 2 of us and the space was much more than enough. A bigger party would be very comfortable. Appreciated the welcome email which included instructions on how to use all the appliances. Request- add in a true American coffee maker. The fact that the home is completely updated added to our comfort level. There are great spaces to relax and we enjoyed what the home offered and loved the showers. This location in Central Portugal is in a sleepy hood. There is a corner market but it doesn’t offer much. Arriving late, we were able to get a few essentials for our first morning such as milk & bananas. The 2 towns we decided to day trip to were Coimbra & Aveiro. Both are approximately 1 hour away. While it was a bit farther than I hoped, it was a nice chance to see the countryside & the A17 is so easy to drive. We were quite impressed with the freeways. Would consider a return with more guests!

We stayed one night at short notice and Liliana was extremely accommodating to us, our car, two bikes, and small dog. Adelaide greeted us and despite no English was okay to communicate with. The place is an absolute dream inside and out - no surprises except that the view is even more amazing than imagined. The property abuts the main street, so onlookers do peer in, but there are roller blinds and curtains for privacy at night. Our only hiccup was check out - Adelaide didn't come when planned for the handover. But Liliana was quick to respond and find a solution. We are already talking about coming back!

Staying at D.Fernanda's house was great! Peaceful and easy location with parking. 5 minute walk to the beach and all shops and restaurants. Lovely clean, big house with everything that you need for your holidays. D. Fernanda was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. 5* Thank you

We very much enjoyed the stay at Filipa's place, it was nice and clean and had all the amenities we needed. Maybe location was not perfect, but fortunately we had a car and could drive to the downtown area with shops and restaurants etc. so it worked out great for us.

The villa is incredible! Numerous rooms with storage and plenty of space. Numerous bathrooms. Very spacious living and dining room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need (coffee machine, utensils, toaster etc.) The game room is a huge plus for rainy days. The pool is cold, but perfect for cooling off, and once in it is very nice. We had a great vacation in this amazing house! There are beautiful river beaches nearby, beautiful views as well. You have to love calm and nature because there are no big cities within an hour (the closest is Coimbra) but supermarkets 5 min away for groceries ;) The house is 1.5 hours from Porto and 2.5 hours from Lisbon, ideal for a day trip :) Thanks to Karen and her spouse for hosting us :) You can book without so much as a second thought!

Great stay, I can only underline the rest of the positive feedback A very friendly and respectful family. I would definitely stay in the house again. Excellent communication with Porro, Aveiro, etc. If I recommend they update the photos of the house: there is a new TV in both the living room and in the main bedroom. The main bedroom mattress is awesome I traveled with a pet (a German shepherd) and everything was wonderful.
