What a beautiful little accommodation. The weather was not on our side for most of the stay but when it was, there were stunning views of the village, all the way out to sea and back up the mountains. I have to say we saw fireflies which is a first for me and totally amazing to see. On a clear night the star glazing is phenomenal and even managed to see some meteors. All viewed from our private patioed balcony. The accommodation was very clean, and comfortably. The bathroom is stunning, roll top bath, waterfall taps, shower above, beautiful stone Jack and Jill basins on wood and wide mirror, glass partition (word of warning) to the main room. The roads to get to the accommodation are narrow, very winding and up hill, so take care on the journey, but seeing the sights of beautiful coloured homes and views over the mountain and valley on route is absolutely worth it.

Great Apartment with Sea view. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the lovely beach. The apartment had everything we needed and was a good size for 4 people. It is a great spot to explore the coastline and the Sintra National Park. Ana Sara was a great host with quick and easy communication. Would highly recommend.

Excellent hosts in a lovely neighborhood. Would highly recommend if looking for a getaway to a beautiful coastal town. Many nearby options for hikes along the coast or further inland. If interested in mountain biking we would also highly recommend Karolis from Rent4Trail, he was an excellent guide and provided high quality mountain bike rentals.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. The kitchen is well equipped and the apartment has a pleasant flair. When the weather is nice, the roof terrace is a good place to chill, overlooking the sea and the quaint village of Almocagem. Definitely a recommendation. Would we book again.
