Cabin vacation rentals in Portage

We had a great time on the west side of Michigan at this lovely home! We enjoyed playing card games around the table and using the hot tub after a full day of adventure! The place was cozy and perfect for what we needed. There are lots of beautiful trees around and the place is quite a ways back from the road so it feels very private. Definitely check out The Southerner in Saugatuck! We had the best drinks and meal there, and the staff was superb!

house was gorgeous! so many windows and open space in main area, was hoping for a fireplace to keep warm! but overall no complaints! everything was great! stocked kitchen, clean house, lots of games to choose from, and great outdoor area for dogs and us humans lol loved the hottub!

Great stay! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my mom’s birthday. Since we went in the middle of January, most everything was closed down for the season. That didn’t bother us since we just wanted to hang out at the house but it was challenging to find anywhere to eat. Otherwise the house was absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful time! We would definitely like to come back another time of the year to experience more of the town. Sarah was a great host!

The cabin was perfect. It's set up to sleep a ton of people but still feel spacious. Everyone was able to do their own thing with all the amenities. The arcade games were amazing. My husband spent 90% of his time getting the high score on Pacman and loved every minute!

Mom’s weekend away! We enjoyed the cabin which was clean and had all amenities listed. It was the right amount of space for our group. Holly was communicative and let us get in a little early to drop some stuff off before we stayed which was so helpful!

The place itself was nice and updated providing us with everything we needed. We loved that it was so close to everything. And it was a bonus to have the pickleball court, firepit, and hot tub.

What a beautiful cabin! My husband and I were looking to get away for a few days and enjoy a cozy, private place! This home checked all of our boxes! Very nicely kept, home was orderly, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect as it snowed the day after our arrival and was peaceful and serene! We were able to start a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed relaxing on the comfy sofas! Huge soaker tub in upstairs bathroom and plenty of bedrooms and a fun basement area! The perfect setup! We will have to bring some friends back with us next time- tons of room for several guests to enjoy! We dined at several local restaurants (within a 10 minute drive) that were delicious and spent some time on Water St for shopping, food, and brews! A must-stay place!

We absolutely loved our stay! House was clean and perfect for us, had everything we needed. The water was clear and we loved the sandy beach, We will be back again!

Doug was a fantastic host and the ice house was a fabulous place to stay. Very nice lake and having boats accessible was the cherry on top - fishing on the lake was great fun and having south haven close by is a plus. We stopped at the local farm stands and had delicious local produce. We will return to this great getaway

This property is beautiful and quite. It's a great place to get away from the hustle back home and disconnect from all the technology (although there are TVs in two of the bedrooms and good wifi if you need it). And the resturant recommendation that was about 10 minutes away was great food! I'd definitely recommend this if you need some time to just be with friends/family, play games, enjoy the lake and nature!

Todd’s cabin was very well stocked with towels, pots and pans, dish soap, laundry soap. We booked this for a few days after Christmas to spend time with our son and 5 year old grandson. I felt the cabin would fit our need more than a hotel. We would love to come again when the weather is nicer. We live on a lake in GA

The cabin was great and exactly as described in the listing. We really enjoyed the back yard and the dock! The cabin was spacious and had everything our family needed.

Debbie was a wonderful and friendly host. She was very communicative and personally guided us to our cabin. Everything was just as described and my family and I definitely enjoyed being so in touch with nature and loved the sound and sighting of the frogs. Looking forward to visiting again.

Stayed at Hideaway Cabin. Mill Pond group was flexible for check in time and communicated well and early. Thing to note: did need to go to office location to check in but is easy to find and was quick to get info. Location is ok to find only because new to the area however directions and aerial map provided was a big help. Had difficulty entering the cabin at first because code was entered incorrectly but Mill Pond responded quickly and it was resolved. Great place with an indoor pool and it was spacious. Was unable to experience the outdoor amenities due to weather but definitely a beautiful area with open space, fire pit, patio area & large pond in front. Master bedroom bathroom does not have a door which was a minor inconvenience just had to close the bedroom door. Rooms are large and kitchen was spacious. May be cost effective to book directly with Mill Pond and they do have other locations available. Overall great place, enjoyed the stay, and am looking forward for the next visit.

This place completely exceeded our expectations!! So many thoughtful details and just an overall beautiful place to stay. Perfect spot to get away to and be able to relax the whole time. Will for sure be returning next year for another stay!

Wonderful Winter Getaway! The cabin was exactly as advertised – clean, spacious, full of character, and totally stocked with everything we needed. The ambiance was perfect, especially with the added charm of watching the dogs frolicking in the snow. Afterward, we enjoyed cozying up by the fireplace. The location was ideal, within walking distance to the beach and a few minutes drive to Grand Mere State Park. This was our first time booking an Airbnb during the winter, and this property truly exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely magical! We would return in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

wow! this place is dog and people paradise. the yard is beautiful and spacious for our dogs to run - they stay close and it look amazing with the snow. love her style and felt very cozy and at home! Had what we needed and gave helpful suggestions and tips. thank you and would love to stay again!

The cabin is nestled on a little slice of heaven in a private, forest setting. A ‘deer-family’ visited us frequently. Ample amenities. We didn’t realize that the ‘unattached-second bedroom/sitting room’ was ours to use until later in the trip because we didn’t realize what the unmarked ‘extra key’ opened. The cabin is small, but for two adults and a dog, it was quaint, cozy, clean, and adequate. We enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinners everyday. The dog and the evening storms kept us in at night. The roads were easy to navigate and we spent a lot of time playing in South Haven, Saugatuck, and Fennville. The lakeshore overlook was a bit scary with a dramatic and steep drop-off so if you had young children or a rambunctious dog (oh wait?! That was ME!), be forewarned. Otherwise, the view was outstanding. We really enjoyed our time and hopefully someday our paths will cross again.

Staying at the kal-haven outpost cabins was everything I hoped it would be! We came up for my birthday weekend and it was wonderful; everything from the peacefulness of the campsite, to the delicious, free coffee and chats in the morning, to the bikeable trail right next to the campsite into town (we rented bikes from the outpost), dog friendly-cabins/campsite, to helpful staff (thanks Heather and Robert!), clean communal bathrooms and showers, and flexibility with check-in and check-out, I couldn't have asked for a better long weekend. Thanks so much; we'll be back!
