Vacation rentals in Kalamazoo County

Loved it so much we never left! 😀 My family was displaced after the May 7th Portage Tornado, and Aryn was super accommodating to us, which allowed our family of 5 get out of hotel living. Extending our stay past the initial 3 months, while our home is rebuilt, as this place now feels like home. Beautiful 3 season porch overlooking a wooded area has allowed us to watch 3 baby deer, that were born the week we got here, grow. Can't wait for the Fall colors to change. Thank you Aryn, truly.

This is the perfect place for a family winter get-away! The pool and hot tub are amazing! We loved that the water was very warm when we got there and our kids could jump right in! The house is kid safe. The pool room is secured with pin code locks. Everything was as described. Jennifer was responsive and friendly and even notified us about a few items we accidentally left behind. We will be back soon and can highly recommend this place!

I needed help one time and got a response very quickly. The space was quiet and clean. My daughter and I felt safe there.

Once again our family had an enjoyable time making new memories at this Lake Cottage. We enjoyed easy sandy beach access to the crystal clear water of Gull Lake. It is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. There is also a raft as an added bonus. There is a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of towels both for the beach and for the shower. We hope to return next summer!

One of the better airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Definitely would stay again. The place was super cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, dishes, etc. The whole place was very dog friendly too. There’s a gate you can close on the driveway to make the yard completely fenced in and they had dog dishes and treats available too. My kids loved playing the games in the basement - foosball, Pac-Man, vintage video games. It was also a quick drive to the Air Zoo, which is the main thing we came to see :) the whole house was also super clean and we all felt at home right away.

Great stay, would recommend to anyone.

My only complaint is that we never have enough time to enjoy everything that Douglas's place has to offer! There is not much that he hasn't thought of! It is such a comfortable place to stay; we literally have called it our home away from home 😆 Unfortunately my daughter is graduating this year, but if we ever have a reason to come back to Kalamazoo we will definitely be looking to book with him again!!

The hosts were great, even asking for our favorite snacks and having them on the counter when we arrived. Great backyard with a fire pit that was used as well.
