This place is great, as were the hosts. For starters, it's walking distance to town, and a beautiful set of beaches within a few minutes hike. The house is 100 yards or so from the trailhead to beautiful beach trails and some peak hikes. From the upper deck, you have amazing views over the valley and some mountains in the distance, which provide incredible sunsets each evening. An added bonus is the plethora of wild bird life constantly chattering beautifully within the trees around the property. The home is well provisioned and provides ample sleeping room between 4 bedrooms. It was a perfect holiday retreat for my family of 4. I would highly recommend this home to anyone, and would absolutely book here again.

Perfectly picturesque! We stayed at Old Duninald for our wedding weekend, and it was like stepping in to a fairytale. The cottage is beautifully restored, the grounds so lovely and the private bridge and pergola by the water is so charming and peaceful. Julia was a splendid host, great communication and a real joy to chat to. She showed us around her property also and let our toddler feed the chickens, plus her puppy Sophie is gorgeous. Our stay was during a very wet weekend, and being true to farm life, there are lots of little critters that make themselves known outside and inside. Otherwise, you really can’t fault this stay. Would happily recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic property with thoughtful hosts; a wonderful choice for families and kids of all ages. Well maintained amenities and attention to detail made our stay with extended family a delight. The heated pool was a hit - even when it rained - and it was easy to get in and out safely for both the toddler and senior in our group. The wood fire pizza oven is definitely worth cranking for dinner or just to hang in the mini-amphitheatre. The playhouse, car and trampoline kept our little one very entertained. Every room was immaculate and beautifully designed. We were even treated to some local produce courtesy of our host - thanks Lauren! A magical location and very peaceful. Just 10 minutes walk to town and if you’re up for exploring, follow the ‘secret’ track to Wreck beach via the bushland at the rear of the garden. Highly recommend.

One of the best places i've ever stayed in Air Bnb - just exceptional. Large, spacious house and great price!

This Airbnb was very spacious and clean. Nice homely feel. Comfortable beds. Lovely new bathroom. Open kitchen. Great TV. Wi-Fi a little weak which was hard for my friend who needed to work occasionally. Great big screen TV. The home is surrounded by greenery. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again. Thank-you for offering your home. No trouble with location or with outside noise. Was comfortable and private. We would recommend Ed’s place to friends.

Lily and I had a lovely time at Glenn’s place. Glenn was the perfect host -friendly and helpful.. We loved the cottage’s homely feel with designer touches. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking and the addition of fresh eggs from the chickens was a nice touch. We slept well in the comfortable beds and the sauna was perfect after a long day. Additionally, the welcoming committee of pets was delightful.
