Cottage vacation rentals in Port Stephens Council

Fantastic eco-resort (retreat amidst subtropical forest) very close to the amazing sand dunes of Anna Bay. The pool was luckily located right in front of our cottage. And the hot-tub (at every cottage) around the front deck was a great addition to the overall experience. Brief interactions with Antony (owner) were as great as his vigilance to manage this excellent property. Koalas are often spotted within the property but we were unlucky in that. Overall great experience and highly recommend as a place to stay if you are visiting Port Stephens.

Beck went over and above to make our stay wonderful - her communication was superb. The scrabble board had my name with "Happy Birthday" spelled out, which was a delightful touch. Lots of other personal touches made me feel special on my special day and for my family to enjoy this lovely house and its amenities. The furnishings are amazing; wait till you see the beds! The house is so well equipped, the beds comfortable, and it caters so well for adults and kids alike. Loved it.

We had a lovely stay at Sheree’s place in Tea Gardens. Beautiful and peaceful location yet in walking distance to restaurants, shops and pubs. Would definitely recommend.

Sue was very proactive and very helpful, the place was so big and spacious. We had a wonderful time to relax with our two little pups and were close to all amenities. Thank you so much for letting us stay, we had all a great break!

We had a wonderful stay at Serenity Cottage. The location was amazing - walking distance to Box Beach and in between Shoal and Fingal Bay. The dogs enjoyed exploring in the back yard and were safe and happy when we went out to dinner. The King bed in the main bedroom was super comfy. The cottage was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you very much for having us.

We all had a fantastic weekend at Swimmers Rest! The house is beautiful and nicely furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and great BBQ. The beds are really comfortable. We all felt at home and relaxed. The outdoor areas were fantastic for a tranquil afternoon. The hosts were very kind, generous and great to communicate with. I would definitely recommend Swimmers Rest

Lisa's place is absolutely amazing, the views are gorgeous the house was clean spacious & the beds were comfortable. The kids had a blast with fishing & kyaking with so much to explore. The local seafood shop was so fresh, We really enjoyed our stay. Lisa was an awsome host thank you for a wonderful stay

Grant was excellent host and we enjoyed staying at his place very much. Encourage people who want to take rest and recharge from busy city life!

We really enjoyed Dales place, it’s a very quite and peaceful location right on the water. Dale has modern canoes/paddle boards to use and explore the water, thoughtful extras were included. Overall we had a lovely couple of days.

I had the pleasure of staying at Madhab's cottage this weekend and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The cottage offers a peaceful and private retreat, perfect for escaping the busy world. Every aspect of the accommodation was catered to ensuring comfort and tranquility. Madhab’s attention to detail and hospitality made our stay even more special. I highly recommend this charming getaway to anyone looking for a serene escape. I highly recommend him to improve his entrance instructions so someone like me fine get lost and get stuck in someone's property, that is in your address instruction. Thank you, Madhab, for such a memorable and perfect weekend!

Myself, husband and our dog Lenni had a wonderful stay at Glenn’s property. The property itself is absolutely amazing, stunning gardens and feel a million miles away even though you’re only a short drive to Morpeth which offers so much including cafes, boutique stores, and restaurant options, or alternatively the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen for cooking. Lenni had great fun with Glenn’s dogs and running free around the property. The pool and sauna were a great addition and we especially loved having a fire watching the sunset. 10/10 can’t recommend this place enough for a lovely relaxing getaway.

This airbnb is a hidden gem of a place! Julie truly went above and beyond with all the amenities in the kitchen including a huge variety of tea and coffee-she also provided us with milk as well as snacks such as cookies and Easter chocolate. We also loved the 2 kayaks that were so easy to take to the marina which was just steps away from the house. The bathrooms were impeccably clean and TV also came with Netflix. Julie has truly thought of everything we could possibly need for a great stay and my family was extremely impressed. Definitely one of the best airbnb experiences I've ever had. Thank you Julie!

A truly wonderful weekend away. Such a warm welcoming feeling, the property and cottage is beautiful and instantly relaxing. The gardens create such a sense of tranquility and the house is full of relaxing corners to calm and entertain any guest. From books, to movies, games to cooking, you don’t even need to leave the house. The kitchen is so well equipped and the be beds were really comfortable. Every little detail, and more, has been thought of. The property is immaculately clean and full of beautiful art and decor. My kids (8 and 6) loved it too. Plenty to keep them entertained while my mum and I relaxed. The location is great too. Easy walk to the beach and loads of other activities nearby. Couldn’t speak highly enough of this stay. Thanks for a magical weekend away.

We had a lovely stay at Marjorie’s property. The space was comfortable, clean and very well resourced. She had honestly thought of everything - milk & tim tams in the fridge, bath towels & sunscreen to name a few. Marjorie was lovely to chat to and easy to get in contact with. She was also very understanding when we mixed up our check out date. There is a small grocery store, fish & chip shop, and coffee shop across the road. The beach is a short walk away, and it’s only a short drive to the other bays. We would absolutely stay again!

Chris was friendly, hospital & welcomed use of herbs in the garden. The bowl of walnuts were terrific as well as the bananas hanging to welcome us. The kitchenette was well supplied with cooking alternatives. It was a cosy unassuming haven for our 12 day stay. Loved its proximity to Anna Bay surf beach. Easy walk.

This is our second stay in this wonderful gem. We had a fantastic weekend enjoying the serenity by the water and listening to the bird life. The lovely touches such as bubbles and chocolate and well equipped house made us feel completely welcome. Can’t recommend highly enough! Thanks so much!
