Vacation rentals with a patio in Ponta do Sol

Thank you Pedro! We really enjoyed our stay. The airbnb has everything you could need. Very clean, comfortable and has good furniture. Plus for market being just below along with a nice few restaurants walking distance and a place to swim right down the road.

We spent two wonderful weeks in this apartment in Funchal and we loved it! It has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, and the atmosphere is conducive to relaxation. The apartment is great for a long stay: they are located in a beautiful city where literally everything you need is nearby. Within walking distance are grocery stores, restaurants, cafes and a lovely promenade for walking. Special thanks to the host of the house — he was very friendly, caring and always responded quickly to our questions. We definitely recommend this place and will definitely come back again if possible!

This place is a real find, location cannot be bettered for centre of Funchal. Clean new facilities. A beautiful stay. BH, Scotland.

Cozy little apartment equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. Nellita, the host, was very responsive and helpful!

The location of the accommodation is perfect. The market, port, many restaurants and shops are easily accessible on foot. Paying parking garage directly opposite the apartment 15 Euro/day. Corina's communications were fast and efficient, and very kind. The apartment is just like in the photos, very spacious, with a large terrace where you can drink your coffee in the morning! The bus station was completely unobtrusive, the doors have good soundproofing. All in all, an excellent apartment in the heart of Funchal! I highly recommend it!

The apartment is perfect for a few days in Funchal. It’s big enough for 4 people, clean, has everything you need. We haven’t met Daniela, but we had great communication over the phone and we got a very nice welcome basket. The bed is a bit soft for my taste, but it cannot suit everyone’s needs. There is a blackout curtain in the living room but not in the bedroom, so the light will come in first thing in the morning. I think it would be a good idea to have one here as well. Just a tip: when you first arrive, grab the keys before trying to park, because you will need the remote for the gate of the garage. From the garage take the elevator to the 2nd floor. We had a bit of a confusion here because it’s the same level as the street, so you would think it’s ground floor, but it’s actually 2nd. All in all we were really satisfied and would recommend to book it! Thank you Daniela!

My partner and I had the most amazing time here and really appreciated having a relaxing and serene place to come back to after our adventures during the day. One of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in – perfect views, comfortable, had everything we needed, lots of space, very close to a supermarket/restaurant/pharmacy, and in a convenient location to many of the attractions my partner and I wanted to see in Madeira! We will definitely come back, especially because of Manny and his son and how warm and helpful they were during check-in.

A dream of a house with a great view. 2 levels, upstairs 2 bedrooms, one of them is through room, from each you can get to the upper terrace. Downstairs large living room, kitchen and dining area. At the same time, there is also the bathroom with shower. Kitchen is open, modern and super furnished. Access to the lower terrace is in the living and dining area. The view is fantastic from both terraces. Because of the steep departure to the house, the car should be parked on the street. There are plenty of parking options there and the house is only a few meters away. Particularly noteworthy is the mosquito safety. Insect screens are located on all patio doors and all the windows. At the same time, insect lamps are in every sleeping and living area. If this is not enough for you, you can still use the electric handheld insect catcher. My wife was enthusiastic and grateful for all mosquito repellent systems. So a great house. Anytime again!

We loved to stay at this beautiful little house! This truly was a home away from home, so cozy. Lots of equipment in the kitchen, games, we didn’t miss a thing! We cannot recommend this place enough ☺️

We had a very nice time in this cozy apartment. We were very comfortable as a family! Through the large windows and the great terrace you have a fantastic view of the mountains and the sea.😍 We were greeted with wine and a nice map. Since it was a little cooler for our arrival, two mobile heating elements were at our disposal 🙏🏻 Antonio and Tania were great host and responded quickly to all our concerns! Great apartment for exploring Madeira. Clean and modern. The hosts were very helpful and provided a great overview of the island and things to do when checking in.

We had a great stay at Antonio's apartment. Plenty of space, comfortable, nice bathroom and large kitchen. Lots of little extras. Anthonio helped quickly when a big storm knocked out our electricity. exciting time! This is a great base to explore beautiful Seixal.

Adriana's place is amazing, from the location to the beautiful surroundings. Everything is exactly as described. The cabin is cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything you need, and the location feels private, giving you a sense of being in the wild. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views make it the perfect spot to relax and recharge. Shops and restaurants are reachable by car, so it's convenient while still feeling like a getaway. Additional note: Spiders and other insects might sneak inside (possibly because we left the bedroom window open at night). This wasn’t a deal-breaker for us, but it’s worth considering if you’re very afraid of bugs. For nature lovers, it’s just part of the charm!

Very nice apartement close to the airport and all nice spots in the island. The ocean is right front your balcony. Easy check-in, great instructions, you have there everything you need :) thank for accommodating me!

Had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The location can’t get any closer to the ocean and hearing the waves through our stay was so rejuvenating. Valery was a very communicative and generous host. Note: this area was VERY windy in December which didn’t allow us to fully enjoy the sound of the waves during the night. Overall, things were great 🌈

Very nice place to stay. Ideal for plane spotting. Proximity to the highway must be aware, but did not bother us. Earplugs will even be provided. We felt right at home. Lovingly furnished with welcome gifts and lots of tips for sightseeing and exploring.

Large, well-equipped apartment with fabulous balcony. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds with good quality bed linen. Unfortunately during our stay there was excavation work being done (8am -5pm, Monday to Friday) at two building sites nearby, which meant that if we returned to the apartment late afternoon it was just too noisy to take advantage of the balcony - hopefully, once the excavation work has been completed, completion of the buildings will be a much quieter process! Other than the building noise the location is excellent, quiet and a ten minute walk to the heart of Funchal. Irina responded immediately to messages and was very understanding when we lost a set of keys.

A wonderful apartment. Massive, with a very large and usable balcony, with extensive ocean views. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The local area was excellent, with 2 ocean pools nearby, and great restaurants. The only downside is an underground parking spot that is very hard to access for a larger car, but we mostly parked in the parking spaces outside.

One of the loveliest stays ever! Amazing surroundings and the most beautiful view on the valley from the balcony! A bit far to walk to the village but the Busstop is right in front of the house. So bring your supplies for cooking as its well worth staying in in the evening :) Awesome hike starting from the backdoor, also one of the nicest I’ve ever done ( I’m Swiss -and therefore pretty spoilt for good wanderlust)
