Monthly Rentals in Polk County

My family and I came to the caboose during a family emergency! Despite the bad circumstances Evelyne and her husband were absolutely amazing to allow us an earlier check in so my two kids could get some rest after the flight. They were so amazed with the tiny home (caboose) and all it had to offer. They enjoyed the sensory swing outside sooo much given they both have high functioning autism. This little caboose is so peaceful, safe, and just all around has all you could need. The grill and propane fire pit didn’t work but we made snores and had a fire on the built in wood pit which was absolutely amazing. Evelyne and her husband were so responsive with anything that came up it was an amazing experience! This little red caboose lighten the darkness of being there to see their grandpa for the very last time :-(! Thank you so much

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The cottage was so comfortable and well stocked, it just felt like home. The location is fantastic. The trail out back leads to the park, which leads to the Purple Martin Trail. Carrie was a great host and gave us tons of information on the area. We couldn’t have been happier here!

This place was great. Super cute inside, at least as good as the photos, maybe better. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Rutherfordton, which isn’t exactly NYC but does have a few restaurants and such. Only about 30 minutes to Hendersonville where there is plenty to do. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was terrific. I would definitely stay there again. The only negatives might be a very small bedroom (didn’t matter to me) and it’s close the road so a little bit of traffic noise, but very little at night.

We had a lovely stay at Warrior Hall. Beautiful sun rises, peaceful quiet nights. The property felt quite private for being located on the owners winding driveway, the cabin was warm, nice towels and a warm bathroom. We will definitely be back if we are looking for a cozy low key weekend. Also the surrounding area of Tryon, Saluda, and Hendersonville are all very charming.
