Family-friendly vacation rentals in Poipu Beach

This was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday with the family. We had 8 adults plus 1 toddler and the space never felt cramped. We were able to all sit in the living room or dining room together without worried about being too squished. The beach within walking distance and access to a pool was also nice. Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time at this property. The house was big and beautiful. With 3 adults and two kids, we didn’t even use upstairs lol our favorite spot was the TV room where we gathered to relax after a long day of exploring and beaching. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well stocked. There were plenty of towels and all the beach toys you may need. The house is a beautiful short walk to Poipu beach where we went every day. Tina was very helpful and responsive. There is so much to say about this house, but just book it. You won’t regret it! 🤙🏽

My fiancee and I had an amazing stay here. We only have positive things to say about this place, we really loved everything. Hosts are super professional and responsive. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. The condo is very well located, super close to Poipu beach. Reserved parking right in front of it. Amazing views of the ocean from the balcony, as well as eventual rainbows. Everything was super clean. It is also very well equipped. We used the beach chairs and beach towels everyday, it was really useful. We even did laundry a couple times, the washer and drier are brand new. I do recommend adding the AC to your reservation (we used it in the bedroom during the night). And we also enjoyed the condo's hot tub and pool a couple nights. In sum, highly recommend, we would for sure reserve it again and it does deserve all the positive reviews.

Evelyn was so helpful and accommodating! The unit was beautiful and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. We appreciated all the beach equipment and how convenient the location of the condo is to all the fun beaches in the area. Watching the honu on the rocks in front of the resort was so much fun at sunset each evening. Thank you for making our Poipu dreams come true.

Our party of 6 adults (3 couples) enjoyed staying here. Each couple having our own bathroom!! Close to Poipu Beach!! Loved it!!

Kauai Calls c404 was an absolute dream! The pictures and description do not do this unit justice! Very conveniently located, beautiful resort grounds, spectacular view, and lots to do within walking distance. The condo is well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your trip.

Geralyn's home is a beautiful place to stay with family and friends. The garden is a privet tropical oasis adorned with many different plants and an outside shower to rinse off the beach. The home décor really captures the Hawaiian spirit with plenty of conformable chairs and couches and dinning options. The secluded deck was a wonderful place of all of us to socialize, eat, and morning coffee. The beds were comfortable and each room has ceiling fans to keep cool. The tropical breezes keep the house comfortable. The washer/dryer were very handy and easy to use. There is so much beach equipment in good shape, Tommy Bahama chairs, fins, snorkels, cooler, children's beach toys. Who could ask for more? Geralyn' is an excellent host, very responsive and thrives to make sure your stay is carefree. She sent us suggestions on beaches, restaurants, and activates. The home is centrally located for convenience and the greenbelt steps away to walk to Poipu beach. 6 star home and I will return!

We loved this place. We've stayed at a few places in Kapa'a and this was by far our favorite. Parking was easy and it was close proximity to the pool, but not so close that we heard pool noise and people outside. Perfect walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and shopping. The place was clean, the beds were super comfortable, and there was everything we needed to spend days at the beach (beach chairs, pool floats, snorkel gear, etc.). Our host was super fast in responding if we needed anything and check out was extremely easy. We would definitely stay again.

This condo is in an excellent location, mid way between North Beach and South Beach. There are plenty of affordable and excellent restaurant choices nearby as well as a Safeway grocery store and Longs drug store. The listing is exactly as pictured and the host is wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kauai.

There are not enough great words to describe how wonderful it was to stay here! The house is even more gorgeous and spacious than the photos show and the flow of the space itself is truly divine! We enjoyed our meals and hanging out on the spacious lanai and did yoga on the wrap around lawn! There was great space for our group to sleep, and the Hawaiian breeze through the home felt so nourishing and enlivening. And I’m saving th best for last because all this wonderfulness is located literally just a two minute walk to what I believe is one of the most glorious beaches in all of Kauai - Hanalei Beach. I woke each morning and took a dip in the ocean before coming home to have breakfast in our spacious kitchen - a total dream! Ann was a lovely host - after trying to book other houses that were managed by companies, I loved the human touch of connecting with Ann directly who is a long time Kauain resident and a delight to work with! I’m so happy for you if you get to stay here!

This is such a great place to stay on a trip to Kauai. The Princeville community is quiet and peaceful, with great activities to enjoy nearby. Annie and Greg provide beach chairs and other beach going supplies that made relaxing at the beach easy and low effort. The kitchenette also made for relaxing dinners while staying in possible. We will definitely be back when we visit the island again!

The view is stunning. Very nice community pool and hottub. Centrally located. Kitchen had all the essentials. Ac units in both bedrooms. Cash is an excellent host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home! Poipu Beach is mere strides from the house! Great location! Everything we needed was there. Any issues, Lance was quick to respond (he is also a wealth of historical information on the location as well)! A great value! Please consider staying here if you are visiting Poipu Beach! This property is an an area called Poipu Kai . Firstly it’s the best area to stay at Kauai . Full stop . We stayed here for 10 nights on the first 2 weeks of 2022. The room is on the 2nd floor of a 4 apartment building in a confused cluster of similar and better appartments in Poipu Kai . Small balcony facing the car park . We really enjoyed our stay here , it was super comfortable for a family of 4, but could easily take 6. The room was well equipped and even included boogy boards and beach chairs and umbrellas . The pool was nice but required 200 plus meter walk . Poipu beach was a 7 minute stroll away . We absolutely loved this beach , it’s a true aquarium below and above you’ll swim with turtles , seals and see dolphins and whales in the background . The showers were excellent , tv included Foxtel and Prime. Private parking included just under the apartment . The area is clean , well maintained very quiet throughout the day and st night . Jeremy our contact person was superb , easy and accomodating .

Convenient location. Across street from lots of restaurants and shops. Beautiful grounds, parking was right in front of unit. Unit does not have air conditioning, was hot when we arrived. Once we got all the fans going and doors/shutters open the unit became very comfortable the next day. The unit is decorated very thoughtfully. We appreciated all the hooks and labeling. Everything was easy to operate. We can’t think of anything that was missing that we wished for. Really enjoyed the spacious lanai. The bed was very comfortable with a memory foam topper and quality linens. Great area beaches to snorkel near by.

The home was good for what we wanted. There was a lot of beach gear that we were able to use. The property was right opposite to a beach which was pretty easy for us.

This condo was perfect for my multi-week work trip. Great location - only an 8-minute walk to Brennecke's and Poipu Beach. A nice saltwater pool is steps away from the condo. The condo is spacious, with comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen with coffee maker, blender, and some basics like cooking oil and spices. I was here for a work trip and was very appreciative of the fast wifi that was critical for zoom meetings, and the dedicated parking spot. The condo has 2 lanais (decks), so most meals were enjoyed overlooking flowering trees and songbirds. Communication with the host was easy and prompt, and instructions and check-in was easy. I highly recommend this place - the location in Poipu ensured lots of sun and was perfect for exploring Waimea Canyon and other parts of the island. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to Kauai.

My husband and I stayed at Kathy’s place for recently for a long weekend. Kathy was wonderful and accommodating. The unit was exactly as described and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking (it even has a rice maker!). The unit also had everything needed for a beach day, including beach chairs, goggles, beach towels, and a cooler. Very walkable to several beaches. Make sure to check out Poipu Beach in the evening to see the sea turtles come ashore. Overall a lovely location, unit, and host. We’ll definitely consider staying on future visits.
