The location and size was perfect for a family of four visiting Kauai for the first time! Just an hour’s drive to both Hanalei Bay and Waimea Canyon, we were able to comfortably and quickly explore every corner of the island as well as walk to cafes and beaches just minutes away from the apartment :) The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use, and watching the sunrise from the beach-facing lanais every morning with the birds and geckos was a huge highlight. The bedrooms had AC, but we did not need it - the fans kept the rooms plenty cool for us. You may get some noise depending on the neighbors, but during our stay they generally kept to the quiet hours posted. There is a fair amount of ambient street and harbor noise during the day. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had, and overall we had a wonderful stay here!

Absolutely the best location to base yourself to see all places on the island! Stunning ocean views with a great walking path right outside front, and shops and restaurants just as close. Very well appointed unit with everything you need for your stay. Huma and her local contact were a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and quickly resolved the one small issue that came up.

Jon’s condo was exactly as described, 5 star all the way. Of course we booked for the ocean front views and gorgeous landscaping of the condo complex. But the amenities of the condo were also fabulous. We fell in love with the new induction stove! The beds were very comfortable, we even slept on the couch pull out one night so we could sleep to the sounds of the ocean. We had a blast tide pooling steps away from the condo as well as snorkeling. We saw many fish, eel, and even a monk seal came up to rest on the beach. We love Wailua Bay as it’s protected when the wind kicks up. The location is perfect, an easy drive to either the south or the north (30-40 min). We will be booking again without hesitation!

The unit being on the first floor was great because no hiking up and down stairs with luggage or groceries. Location can't be beat, close to everything!! And finally, customer service in this day and age is practically nonexistent. That's why dealing with Jen was so refreshing! So efficient, personal and kind! The fact that the unit is beautiful means nothing without good customer service. In our opinion, this rental's success is due largely to Jen's excellent customer service!

Really really loved our stay here! Comfortable room, with a balcony overlooking the pool/bar, you can also see the ocean in the background. The grounds of the hotel are insanely beautiful! Bed was comfy, room was perfectly clean. Make sure you hit the hot tub at night! Easy to get to/park, a perfect distance between the north & south. A market and restaurants right across the parking made eating pretty easy if we were staying close that night. Lots of fun birds and of course roosters running around! Nice walking path along the coast. Easy lockbox check-in. Having extras like beach towels, was great! Highly recommend!

This condo was perfect for me and my husband. It was super close to a grocery store, shopping and restaurants. The bed was comfy and the AC was nice and cold when we had to use it. The pool was never crowded and we were able to enjoy it twice alone. All of the sights were also within 15-30 min.

Location, location, location! After exploring the island a bit I’m so glad we stayed where we did! The view of the ocean and easy walk to the beach was absolutely perfect. We even took surf lessons right at the beach! It was an absolutely gorgeous location and we would stay here again.

Roz and her place were wonderful! The condo was clean, clean, CLEAN…which is always our top priority. The complex was peaceful and beautiful, the beach was wonderful. We needed something when we first made up the sofa bed, and it arrived within a couple of hours. Plenty of soap, TP, paper towels, beach towels, chairs, and beach gear. Everything we needed. Thank you for a favorite stay to remember!!

We LOVED our stay at Kathy’s! We can say nothing but positive things! My husband and I are active travelers and this was the perfect home base for us for a week of hiking and activity! The balcony was our favorite part! We loved sitting out there every morning and every night. The atmosphere of the entire property was so laid back and calm. We used the pool, hot tub, tiki bar, and grills and had no issues with any! We were conveniently located on the island, and loved being within walking distance from rentals, great food, and loved sitting on the beach right outside! Perfect and relaxing spot! Kathy and her team were also amazing to work with and more than accommodating with last minute changes (on our end), and was very responsive! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
