Fantastic Stay in Kauai! Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely perfect! The location was ideal—close to everything, making it easy to explore the area. The space itself was just the right size, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed, including beach chairs and towels, which made our beach days even better. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches truly enhanced our experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kauai!

Quite condo with what felt like a private beach area. Plenty of cooking supplies although no spices or oil so bring your own. Bed was very comfy, nice to have ac.

Just an amazing location!! The place was super clean and very comfortable. Sitting on the back patio with the new furniture listening to the waves and looking out on the ocean was incredible!! Can’t imagine a better location. We could hear the waves from everywhere in the condo and falling asleep to the waves was fantastic! Roz was a great host and provided tons of local recommendations and was always very prompt getting back to us if we had any questions. We’ll definitely be back!!

Vicky was incredibly helpful before we arrived and during our stay. Her area recommendations were spot on and super helpful. She helped us find a few hidden gems in the area, and reinforced an idea we already had on our list of things to do. She handled a hiccup on the first day with quick communication, grace and kindness. The condo unit is exactly as described, in perfect shape, has all that we needed and more. Super convenient to use the beach chairs and boogie boards and condo unit provides beach towels- all to make the experience easier for travelers. We appreciated the oceanfront location, sound of the waves, views, proximity to snorkeling / lifeguarded beach at the park right next door. The location also makes an easy drive both north to Hanalei Bay and south/west to poipu and or Waimea canyon. Instructions for the house were perfect and spot on. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. When we do, we will absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic. Views are amazing. AC is slow but eventually gets there. Nice to have that. We saw many turtles swimming in the water from the balcony. Also saw dolphins and whales! Can't beat it. We loved that they didn't require starting the dishwasher or towels upon check out, but we did anyway.

The space was exactly as described, and better maintained than your average airbnb spot. The patio provides a satisfying ocean breeze while the indoor portable A/C units catch up. The location was also great for walks along the shoreline, with <5 minutes drive to spots in poipu. Will definitely be back again if we're in the area.

Throughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful accommodations, fully stocked kitchen & unit! (needs tongs & a potato peeler though!) The pool was peaceful and beach just a quick walk away. The blinds let in a lot of light, so if you need to nap a baby- it’s very challenging. There is so much space here & the patio is amazing. Lots of comfortable furniture. Highly recommend!

We had a beautiful vacation and loved our time. Hard to beat the view!

The condo at Waipouli was perfect for our family. We have two small children who loved the pools, slides, hot tubs, and beach toys. The condo was fresh and clean and a huge space to spread out in. We loved the location for how easy it was to get to fun places and activities around the island (exactly as advertised). The owners were quick to respond and recommend good activities for families (close-by Lydgate beach and park is a MUST). Highly recommend for families.

It’s a clean and spacious for 4 adults, and a nice location- walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances for what we need. Also plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, inflatable tubes. My daughter loved sleeping with the sound of beach waves. Susanne responded to my questions quickly and kindly.

The ocean sound throughout the place was amazing! Loved the backyard. Great beach and location!

LaniKai #131 is absolutely beautiful. A lovely condo that is very private (only about 18 units total) we felt right at home & although there were others around. A lot of the time we had the pool or community areas to ourselves. The coconut marketplace was walkable (maybe a block) & you could do shopping, pick up basics from the ABC store or grab dinner at the restaurants. The beach was beautiful and had nice safe areas for kids. Many times we walked along the shore & path to Lava Lava for happy hour or breakfast. The condo itself was absolutely perfect. The finishes were beautiful and made us feel at home. I like to unpack and there were truly many storage areas & hooks, in the bedrooms and bathrooms that were very thoughtful for guests. & the whole home A/C was much appreciated since we come from a cooler climate. There were also many outlets that made for easy charging of electronics. & we loved the seating in the main room for everyone to spread out. We definitely plan to return!!

Enjoyed the most mellow and relaxing vacation with my adult children. We walked daily on the great pathway and took in the blue ocean and the peaceful setting. The neighborhood was quiet and what I expected. We enjoyed eating at all the wonderful local places within a casual 20 minute walk. It was rainy this time of the year so sometime we just stayed and chilled in the awesome living room. The house is old so it has its charms but it felt like going to a beach house. There are plenty of windows and we slept with them open and it was very windy at night so we didn’t miss the a/c at all. We are from the Pacific Northwest, my son said he was surprised that 72 degrees could feel so cold and it was funny to see him wear his puffy jacket at times. Anyone staying here in the spring should probably bring a jacket because the wind and moisture can make it feel a lot colder than it should be due to being right next to the ocean. This is an excellent location overall.

We had a lovely stay! The location was perfect. Beautiful views from the lanai, easy access to the beach and pool, and lots of walkable amenities (restaurants, farmers market, shops, etc). We really appreciated the protected beach area for our toddler. The inside space was perfect for us (3 adults plus a toddler). Steven went out of his way to make sure our stay would be comfortable with our toddler and provided great local recommendations. Hope to return some day!

We enjoyed our stay very much at Sherri place it was clean, well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. Sherri was always quick to respond with any questions that we had and was very helpful.

This listing is in a great location with a great view at sunset. The pool is shared with just 5 other units and we rarely saw anyone else out there during the day. Not much within walking distance so a car is pretty necessary. The furnishings were fine but a bit dated. Many of the sliding closet covers were broken and could use an update. The bathrooms were surface clean but could use a deep cleaning, the fan vents in joth bathrooms were covered in funk. Similarly kitchen and appliance were clean except for backsplash and cabinet faces were splattered with stuff, a deep cleaning here would also help. Do keep in mind its a bottom unit, most of our stay the upstairs unit was empty but once someone arrived it was pretty loud from their walking around, enough that it woke us up at night. Overall, a nice week, the outdoor space is the clear highlight here.

Good stay would most definitely stay again

Sandy and Erik’s place was in a great location with only a short walk to the beach and short drive to other parts to the island. My parents and boyfriend very much enjoyed the outdoor patio and openness of the space. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Kauai.

Our stay at Koloa Kai was wonderful! The property was easy to locate, came with all of the amenities listed, and was a short drive to restaurants, beaches and attractions. Communication was quick and easy with any questions we had being answered promptly. The owners provided suggestions for places to dine, beaches to explore, and even tips with luggage and car rental. Check-in and out was easy and quick. We would definitely recommend Koloa Kai for anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting Kauai!

We had a fantastic week long stay at Devin’s condo for our family of four. Kids enjoyed having their own twin beds. The condo kitchen is well outfitted with tools/dishes/glasswear/ cookwear/ basic seasonings making cooking in the condo easy. Washer and dryer was a bonus as towels/swim suits needed to be washed during the week. The views are fantastic. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each morning for coffee and to end the evening. If you want to hear the ocean while you sleep this is the place The condo grounds are beautiful and very well taken care of. Overall it is a quiet complex of families and couples enjoying the beauty surrounding them.

This is the real deal. Perfect for our family, located on a beautiful section of beach. Nearby trails give you the opportunity to explore. Couldn’t have asked for anything more on our trip!

Amazing location! Central to lots of great activities. Mountain Tubing Adventure was a blast! Easy drive north to Hanalei Bay and likewise south to Poipu. The hike to Ho’opi’i Falls was awesome and very close by. Incredible paved bike trail along the ocean north to Ahihi Point. About 4 miles each way and was very easy (even for those of us out of shape). Lots of great food options. Loved Kenji, Wailua Drive-in, Little Fatties and Zumo Sushi. All in all a great trip and very comfortable accommodations. Will certainly go back!
