Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Pleasure Point

We booked this beach cottage for a girl's weekend and it was PERFECT! Clean, plenty of cozy couches, lots of linens to get your bed just right, stocked kitchen to prepare food and drinks, private little gardens bursting with amazing plants, relaxing hot tub, and so on!!! Perfect location on quiet street. Thank you!

Very cute home in a friendly area. Great for families and small children. Hosts were very friendly and greeted us and our kids when we arrived. The area is so beautiful and really close to the roaring camp train ride, prefect for our family trip. There are plenty of hiking trails up the road. Also, loved The Grove coffee shop in Felton. Only a 20 minute drive to Santa Cruz Boardwalk. So there is plenty of exploring to do.

What a great find in an out of the way place. Would love to come in summer but honestly, it was great cool weather to enjoy the house and view of the ocean. Saw seals and dolphins and birds, barely any humans! Best find was Pezzini Farms right outside the colony. Go there for good food!

It felt like home, I don't know how much else I can praise it. simply perfect and serene. Lisa was a wonderful host!

First off the photos don’t do this house justice. The spaces, including that wonderful balcony, are bigger than you think. We had 7 adults, a toddler & an infant and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The beds, linens and pillows were so comfy, the multitude of windows to let the ocean air breeze come through, along with fans in the bedrooms, were perfect. The kitchen was the most well equipped I’ve used in an Airbnb before. The wagon, chairs and beach towels were also so nice to have for the short one block walk to Black Beach (one of my favorites in Santa Cruz). Oh and do not let the 1 full bathroom for everyone scare you off. Having the 2 half baths made it all work and we never had an issue. My family LOVED this place and wants to come back so very much. We have spent 26 years coming to Santa Cruz almost annually and this was our best residential experience yet. Thank you to Kim and her Rental Mgr, Nancy, for taking care of us and communicating so well. This family highly recommends!

The only word that sums up Mike and Jen’s house is “WOW”! In the 10 years that I’ve been renting on Airbnb theirs is the first house that looks exactly how they show it in the pictures! This is truly a gem! The house was sparkling clean and the backyard was very well maintained. What was really impressive is they decorated the house with a Christmas tree and stocking over the fireplace. They truly make you feel like you’re at home. This shows that they truly care about the rental and its potential renters. Jen was very proactive in reaching out to make sure that we were ok and if we needed anything. This place was a great launching point for either Monterey or Santa Cruz. I definitely plan on staying here again.

Your kitchen not only had everything I needed and more, it was also so well organized. We were so comfortable, had plenty of space and appreciated all the special touches that make your home such an outstanding one. We enjoyed the fire pit, being able to sit around your kitchen island, the clean and beautiful bathrooms and great hot tub. Thank you again, what a treat! We hope to be back!

This was a true under the radar gem. Beautiful surroundings, secluded and well maintained. Gazebos, benches, lots of places to chill at. Completely safe and secure. But the best part - is the SPA (needed booking). Combination of perfect temperature sauna, cold ice water (where did they get water of that pureness?) in a private setting- an ideal staycation to chill your partner ❤️ We will return

Absolutely perfect location to view the sea and discover all that quaint Capitola has to offer on foot! I'm so glad we bought tickets for the 'Sip & Stroll' wine tasting event (2nd Saturday in Nov.), it was such a marvelous way to check out the cute boutique shops, meet and chat with locals while sampling of many delicious local wines (and some micro brew beers). In the evening we were able to walk to dinner/restaurants/wine bars and live music! We will definitley return to Jamies Capilola 'Surf Loft'. Book your stay today!

Tara and Marcus were fantastic hosts, always accommodating our needs and ensuring we felt at home. The space was not only comfortable and clean but also perfectly located right in the middle of everything we wanted to explore. The bed was incredibly cozy, making it hard to get up in the morning! The location is amazing. The balcony provides an amazing view of the ocean but also the sound. Even though it was cold outside we kept the balcony door open just to hear the waves. The place was very clean and well appointed, with very comfortable beds and extra throw blankets. Very cozy. The tv and WiFi worked well. John was very responsive - always responding within minutes to a message- and accommodating. Thank you, John!

I had an amazing stay here with my partner and our 3-year-old dog. This was my first time visiting during the winter, and it exceeded all my expectations. The downtown area was vibrant and full of energy, with live music, plenty of shopping, and a wide variety of dining options. The community felt warm, inviting, and safe, making it an incredibly enjoyable experience. The location was unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk to the beach! I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot. The Airbnb itself was cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, with personal touches that made it feel special for both humans and furry friends. The water pressure and immaculate kitchen was a plus as well. I can’t wait to stay here again!

The home was clean and very spacious. I was concerned about the cold weather but the house was so cozy. The pool was so close to us and very clean. The hot tub was wonderful. I loved that the home was so close to the water and we could hear the waves crashing. Everything about the home was amazing.

Beautiful house in a quiet relaxing atmosphere. Sitting outside reading listening to the water flow past was wonderful. Would definitely stay again just to relax and read books all day.

A minor issue with our original reservation was quickly resolved by the PowerWest Team. They responded immediately and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and had a perfect trip. The unit is a beautiful, well equipped condo with spectacular ocean front views. We will definitely visit again and stay with PowerWest.

We've been coming to Seascape for over 20 years now and this was one of the better locations for our family. It had grass access and beautiful ocean views. The kids loved the little seating area. Overall the location and space was everything we needed and more.

Beautiful view, Jaimi was super responsive everything was nicely labeled. TV is also upstairs in kitchenette room but wasn’t a big deal since we were the only people staying there besides the family. Megan was also really sweet and helpful! Would stay again, perfect for a little overnight after the redwoods!

We really enjoyed our stay. The villa is clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The description and pictures were accurate. The resort overall was well maintained. The resort is enormous and this villa is on the South Bluff. It is further away from the beach access and the main building, but we preferred this south location because the pool area is much better than the other two on the property, and near the park. Power West was responsive to all inquiries. Check in/out was a breeze. We hope to be back.
