Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Pleasure Point

Two families with 2 littles kids each (3-8yo) stayed there and it was perfect for us. The house is very spacious, perfect for the 8 of us. Nearby Boardwalk and other fun locations to enjoy with the kids. We picked some tomatoes and a couple of asian pears for breakfast and they were delicious. The kitchen is very well provisioned with lots of utensils and condiments that made our meals much better. Thank you Sun and family! I was a little bit scared with the almost 3 years old when I read some reviews, but he did great. He was interested in some National Geographic books in the living room and I hope we put them back in the right place :) looking forward to come back in the future.

Kennedy’s beach house is great! It is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and the location is perfect. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. It is about 10 minutes from the beach if you walk. A lot of great places to grab coffee or any meal. The backyard blew us away. It is beautiful and there’s even a hammock! Loved the stay!

The only word that sums up Mike and Jen’s house is “WOW”! In the 10 years that I’ve been renting on Airbnb theirs is the first house that looks exactly how they show it in the pictures! This is truly a gem! The house was sparkling clean and the backyard was very well maintained. What was really impressive is they decorated the house with a Christmas tree and stocking over the fireplace. They truly make you feel like you’re at home. This shows that they truly care about the rental and its potential renters. Jen was very proactive in reaching out to make sure that we were ok and if we needed anything. This place was a great launching point for either Monterey or Santa Cruz. I definitely plan on staying here again.

Clean, comfy, and conveniently located for our road trip to Santa Cruz and the coast. We walked to shops, the marina, and the beach during our stay. The large dining table was great for playing Yahtzee while Alexa served up our favorite tunes on demand. Al, the maintenance guy who lives next door, introduced himself the first day of our stay, gave us his card, and offered to support whatever we needed—but we didn’t need much. A previous guest left a broken corkscrew, and I could've called Al. Instead, I walked to Day’s Market Liquors & Deli and bought a $5 replacement, along with freshly made chicken tamales that were absolutely delicious.

Jeremy's place was more special than any other airbnb we've stayed at. Everything was clean, easy to find, there was plenty of everything, blankets, cooking items, towels. It is a beautiful property, nothing could make it any better. This is not a house, it is a home. We had a great time, wouldn't change a thing!

We loved staying at the Wave House. The photos don't do it enough justice, but the vaulted ceiling is just gorgeous. Also, the dining table is bigger than the one in the pictures, so I think it may have been replaced. Either way, a gem of a place in a gorgeous location. Waking up to the sun rising over the Monterey bay and seeing the first attractions on the boardwalk being turned on is 👍👍👍 too. The house comes with a fenced in yard and two decks. It rained during our stay, so we didn't use them, but they all look wonderful, so we hope to make more use of them on our next stay.

This property was exactly as advertised! Location was great right next to the beach. Loved that we had private parking and the property was very clean and spacious for what we needed. We will definitely book this place again!

We loved staying at the hidden gem!! Had everything we needed and was super cozy. It was super convenient to downtown Santa Cruz, and we loved walking to 11th hour coffee every morning. Also made for a great home base to explore Big Sur! Would stay again.

Natalie’s place is wonderful. Very clean, spacious, nicely appointed, and close to local restaurants. We were able to check in a bit earlier which was very convenient. Check in and check out instructions were very clear and easy. Would love to stay here again!

Well-stocked, simply furnished bungalow-type attached residence in the Seabright neighborhood, convenient to the northeastern residential sections of Santa Cruz and to supermarkets and natural food stores. Many new, easy-to-operate small appliances and good laundry set-up. Ample kitchenware and condiments. Quiet city surroundings, easy parking. Overall, staying at the unit (and interacting with owner) was a pleasure.

The place was comfortable and cozy. The decor was retro-vintage 80's-90's. Dan was quickly responsive to an outside lighting situation.

Location is great, walkable to the beach and restaurants. One stairs up from the parking lot. One parking lot. The place is cute, large rooms, nice appliances, Tv, Miele high end washer and dryer which is much apreciated when you stay longer and need to rewash the towels. There are some offices around, when they go out to talk on the phone you would hear and see them but wasn't to bad for us and we've learned when to pull the curtain close. Plenty of place for 4 people. Cozy couch and beds. Lots of lights. Basic pots, pans, glass, coffee cups, drip coffee machine, toaster etc. Has everything for even longer stays. We definitely come back again. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Grew up in Santa Cruz and coming back to visit, this place really felt like home. Thank you for sharing your space with us for the weekend. Look forward to coming back

We stay at Seascape a couple of times a year, we love the location: beautiful beach walks, pools and hot tubs, walk to the market, and then just a quick drive to Capitola, downtown Santa Cruz, or even the boardwalk. This particular rental was lovely and very homey. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, the kitchen is well appointed, there are two nice balconies- one with a great table that is perfect for cocktails or coffee. There are two pullout couches, which made the living room so fun to watch movies with the teenagers. More than anything, we appreciated the very accommodating host, who was kind enough to let us check in early so that we could leave our bags while we went shopping downtown. It was really a lovely stay. I recommend both Seascape, and this particular rental, very highly.

This was the cleanest AirBnB we've ever stayed in! Pristine! Tidy! Stunning ocean views from both the living room & primary bedroom. The entire villa has been remodeled yet still has the Old World Charm and coziness. This Villa is located on the 2nd floor of North Bluff - is very private - has a pool jacuzzi just steps away. The resort offers many amenities, restaurant, bar, room service (or pick up) massage, sauna - endless. Aptos Village is right across the street - walking distance offering many shops, market and a great place for pizza and Italian food. We will definitely stay with Sue again - as soon as we can! Next time, we'll try her other property #33. Sue is a GREAT hostess in every area and has earned Super Host many times over!

My wife and I stayed at Jason and Leigh Ann's place for three nights in October 2024. The unit is part of a nine building condo complex (Pajaro Dunes Resort) which is separated from the wonderful Seacliff beach by low dunes, and the passageway to the beach is right next door. The kitchen was well-equipped (no yard sale rejects) and organized. The amount of space was perfect for a couple and everything was spotless and tastefully decorated. Renters who plan to do cooking may want to bring all the spices, oils and other accessory components they need since only spray oil, salt and pepper was provided. When we visited, the ocean view from this ground floor unit was largely obscured by dune grass, which was higher that that shown in the photos. I noted that the rental price for comparable units on the second or third floors was much higher and, for the price difference, we'll look at dune grass. Maybe when we book again it will be lower.

My's an amazing host! Super friendly and quick to respond. The condo was so cozy, and we had a wonderful time there. I highly recommend it!

We have stayed in Capitola several times over the years and hand's down this is our favorite rental. Location is perfect and the rental is well maintained and decorated. The large ceilings make the unit feel much bigger than it is. We will definitely stay here again as Jennifer was a great host!

Beautiful little place, with picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean and natural landscaping. Clean, comfortable and easy access. Lots of security that patrolled day and night, which is nice. Fine dining restaurant is within walking distance.

Aaron was a wonderful host and the place was beautiful. The place was situated at a great location and very close to the beach and a lovely breakfast place. The house was nice clean and quite, and has plenty of amenities and games for our family to play with. We would totally come back again.

Clean, quite space with plenty of comfortable amenities. Less than a 5 minute walk to a gorgeous beach. If you plan on taking a trip to the Santa Cruz area I really recommend this place it was gorgeous we had an amazing time. Loved the kid friendliness as well there is a very big pac’n’play that worked great for our two year old.
