Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Playa Guiones

Angela greeted us when we arrived nearly two hours later than expected. She was fabulous and even stopped at the store to get us some staple items. The apartment was more like a small cottage, well equipped, secure and comfortable. A/C was great. We rented a golf cart from Limo Dan and had no trouble getting around the main areas of Guiones and Nosara Beach areas. It was VERY wet and the golf cart even managed through the puddles. The cottage location was walkable to the Baker beach entrance, provided you are fit for walking on dirt and gravel roads. My husband and I have mobility issues and found the golf cart would go where we wanted to go. The cottage was roomy for 4 people. There is only a stove top. No oven. But we ate out most of the time. The worst thing about Villas Paraiso Escondido is having to leave at the end of your stay. We had such a good time with our two boys (10 months and 3 year old). This place is designed with families in mind, especially the pool area. We spend so much time playing in the water and loved being able to cook delicious meals outside on the BBQ. When (or should I say « IF ») you feel like going out, Priscilla has tons of great recommandations to help you discover Paraíso and its surroundings. There are lots of amazing beaches to explore within a 20 minutes drive, cute cafés and good food. We especially enjoyed watching the sunsets at Mirador Playa Blanca, catching some waves at Playa Avellanas and stopping for a good cup of coffee at Café Corazon. We will forever cherish the memories we made here and will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a relaxing stay in Costa Rica, with plenty of space- this it it! We were a family of 3 but this home could easily accommodate a few more. We woke up every morning to the peaceful sound of birds in the trees. We would make our coffee and take it to the upstair balcony and enjoy the birds, one day we even saw a monkey swinging through the trees. It was very peaceful and quiet. There was a housekeeper everyday, who kept the home spotless (changed linens and towels, tidied up and even cut our fruit for us). The beach is walking distance and if you enjoy walking there are several paths surrounding the property to get in your daily steps. The pool is across from the villa, but when we went it had not been cleaned, so we chose to use the pool at the JW Marriott next door, which is beautiful and also has several restaurants. There was another pool on the property and they did clean the pool on our last day, but we preferred the Marriott. Overall I highly reccommend!

Great place, great location, excellent condition. We only had a small issue with the A/C, it is programmed to turn off every time you open the door, and since I have a small kid that wanted to go to the pool very often, that was a problem.

A great apartment with an easy walk to the beach & restaurants in town. The place was very clean, spacious, and safe. We appreciated being able to relax by the pool in the afternoons. The front desk staff were very friendly during check-in and responsive to messages we sent. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Samara!

Absolutely amazing stay with my husband and our daughter! Esperanza was very communicative and helped with every single request. The villa was well maintained and clean. She also gave us many recommendations for atv rentals, restaurants, surf lessons. Could not recommend this place more!

Great host … the pool is so unique - it made me feel like a kid again. I highly recommend this place - we loved our experience and the Property was amazing!

Great place to stay. Easy walk to the beach, with some of the best surf in the world. Our family was beginner surfers and boogie boarders. For us the waves were perfect some of the days, but slightly too big & choppy others. For intermediate surfers, the conditions would be near ideal. The roads are dirt and pretty rough in places. I'm glad we had an SUV, but were ok with it being 2 wheel drive. The host warned us to take the inland highway to get to Guiones from Tamarindo rather than the costal road, as that road gets washed out in the rainy season. So if you don't have a 4WD, be sure to go through Nicoya if you're coming from the north, not through Venado. The main thing we disliked about the house was that you had to go outside to get from the master to the rest of the house. For us, our kids were old enough that it wasn't a big deal, but if we'd had youngers it would have been a problem.

Where to begin with my applause for this place! Lovely abode, tucked away in a little jungle oasis but a mere 10 minute walk to the beach & bars etc. Bikes on site which is a fun plus, beach chairs, cooler, scuba gear and more fun toys to enjoy at beach or in the great pool that was so refreshing to jump in after a salty beach day. There is also a washer and dryer that works great, countless different towels to use for pool, beach and showers. The bed was extremely comfy, the bedroom stays nice and cool, the shower has hot water and the porch is a beautiful way to spend an afternoon or evening. Communication is super quick and helpful. We will most definitely return, and bring friends and family to enjoy this wonderful spot. We love Villa Espeval!

An excellent option to spend it with friends good amenities and close to beaches, the street that takes you to the house is in poor condition so you have to be full of patience and most likely by the time we were visited by giant grasshoppers known as lobsters

Our stay at this Airbnb as a family of four was fantastic! We enjoyed our time and were lucky that the downstairs apartment was unoccupied, giving us complete privacy. The twice-weekly pool cleaning was essential due to wind and leaves, and we greatly appreciated it. The apartment is very spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. The kitchen was a dream: modern, spotless, and equipped with high-quality appliances. We cooked daily, baked bread, and even used the mixer for fresh ingredients – everything was perfect. The bathrooms were also well-equipped, and nothing was missing. For our little children, two travel cribs were provided, which was incredibly helpful. Each room had air conditioning with a fan function, making the stay even more pleasant. Communication with Samara Rentals was excellent, with near 24/7 availability via mobil. Anna and Chris on Airbnb also responded quickly and helpfully.

The flat was perfect : very clean, nice, quiet and close to a beautiful beach (15 minutes walking). Julio quickly answered to our messages and the arrival was easy. I recomend it for a stay in Samara !

We have already visited Pinilla on several occasions. For us its location and safety is most valuable. By joy, on this occasion our stay was up to par with the house and its hosts Veronica and Mahomet.

Great house for a family. Kids loved it. We loved hanging out on the patio. You need a car for this location with a family.

This is a fantastic condo in a great location - just far enough out of Samara to be a little more quiet yet still very walkable. The beach is just a short stroll down the road. The condo is very large and has plenty of room for 4. The rooftop are is one floor above and perfect for yoga, relaxing and even taking Zoom calls. Patrick and Hilda were awesome hosts! We will definitely be back!

It was a perfect stay for a family of 5. It had all of the amenities we needed. The location was also great - close to a supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants and of course the beach.

Casa Ema was at a great location at a few minutes drive from Carillo and Samara beaches. The house was very comfortable with a backyard sitting area facing the jungle. We enjoyed the sounds of the jungle especially in the morning. Emanuel was very easy to reach if we needed something. He was always very polite and attentive. We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Ema.

Las Ventanas was a great place to stay. Condo was well maintained and had everything we needed. The security gate staff were welcoming and friendly. France’s made sure our stay was going well and helped us to extend our stay twice 😊

We spent an amazing week at Casa Flores. Boris and host Francisco were both incredibly responsibe throughout the entirety of our stay. The location very well may be the best in Playa Pelada. Under a minute to the beach, and local amenities but also in a quiet secluded small condo complex; that for our week was surrounded by howler monkeys and wildlife all day. Short 15 min walk to Guiones beach. The apartment feels larger and more spacious in person than the pictures. Very cosy with all the amenities you could need. We love to cook on cast iron and were happy to find 3 iron skillets. The kitchen is large, spacious and a pleasure to cook in. The interior and exterior living space's flow very nicely while also providing great privacy for both bedrooms. The pool is a gem and a perfect spot to relax while catching shade in the hot afternoons while conversing with residents. We felt safe in the neighbourhood and enjoyed the incredible sunsets everynight:) Highly recommended!

Comfortable and clean condo near the town of Samara. It's about a 10-minute walk to town and note that you have to walk down a steep hill and then along the road with no sidewalk. Similarly, a 5-minute walk down the hill to the beach (there's a hotel at the bottom where you can get beach chairs). Apartment was well-equipped (beach towels, boogie board, kitchen appliances, etc.). Amazing views of the ocean. No outdoor space just FYI but a communal sitting area outside near the pool. Pool was great and spacious. Apartment was very clean and everything worked properly.
