This was our first visit to Costa Rica and Casa Aspen did not disappoint. What a magical place Samara is and Casa Aspen is the ideal spot for a family oasis. Centrally located, our teenage son and friend were able to freely explore while our younger daughter rested in the afternoons. The house is well appointed and exceedingly comfortable. The openness of the space encourages time together with fresh air and a cool swimming pool. Would recommend this space, as well as Samara Rentals, to anyone interested in visiting Samara!

Airbnb Review: A Dream Stay in Costa Rica We recently stayed at Brenda’s beautiful Airbnb in Costa Rica, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, Brenda made us feel welcome with her warm and friendly demeanor. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, even helping us arrange transportation to explore the areas we wanted to tour (a paid service, but so worth it for the convenience). The property itself was a slice of paradise. The home is private and well-maintained, complete with a stunning waterfall pool that was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventures. The surrounding jungle views are breathtaking—you feel completely immersed in the natural beauty of this incredible country. We loved it so much that we even found ourselves discussing the possibility of living here permanently. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent hospitality and amazing scenery, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you, Brenda!

Jackie was an amazing host! She is very willing to help with any questions. She was fun to be with and lives close. The beach was beautiful and safe to swim in. We are a group of 4 couples and the space worked well for us. We highly recommend this property and will return.

The place is just beautiful. The hose is equipped with everything you'll need to be comfortable. In addition, it has a number of bathrooms that exceeded our expectations since each room on the second floor had a private bathroom and the room downstairs had a bathroom adjoining it, which makes the stay much easier. Galileo and Sandra's treatment was cordial and friendly. Always attentive to our needs. We loved as a family to have known the place and stayed in such a comfortable place.

I must say, ee felt like a King and Queen in a mansion. the property was apparently nothing but of the wealth in it's day, but surely still is. Upgrades and loving touch could be applied, but definitely a prime Airbnb in todays time. our friends whom moved to Nosara 10 months ago visited us during our stay, after 6 bottles of wine sitting on the back deck and plunges in the pool, they too did not want to leave. when we come back, we will surely secure this property again. Kendra wS very responsive, made things very accommodating and was nothing but 5 stars. if you get the opportunity to stay in what I call "The Scarface Mansion", don't blink an eye, you'll feel like a king/Queen.

We traveled with 3 small kids and stayed just over a month. We wanted to be off the beaten path but close enough that we could venture in if we wanted. The house was great. Other reviews mention it is kind of a strange layout with no living room and the 3rd bedroom upstairs (you consider to get in) but we loved it. I would stay here again no doubt. The best part of our stay was Ms. Doris. She is one of the best humans we have ever met. I can’t say enough good things about her. My family will miss her! The pool is huge and monkeys are everywhere. The town in a small village with a great sense of community. Amazing stay!

Our family loved our weeklong stay in Nosara. The house has a great layout, is on a very quiet street and has comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. One of the best beach houses we have ever stayed in. Only downside is the road to get there but this is true of a lot of places in Costa Rica - best bet would be to rent an ATV to get around.

I had a great time at Jurgen’s place, it’s exactly like the photos, the kitchen has everything you need, organized, and peaceful.

Super clean and fresh studio with a nice kitchen to cook. The high ceilings and windows made the studio feel really large and with many fans for a good breeze. Bathroom was top notch. Outside environment was extremely relaxing and you feel safe. Pool needs some skimming, but still really inviting. I’d definitely stay there again. Thanks Susu and the property management team.

We had an amazing stay here. The room was as described and clean. 5 minute walk to Playa Pelada! The pool and gym was amazing as well, and host was very welcoming and responsive.

Beautiful place and amazing staff. Pool was so refreshing and always spotless. Staff were very attentive and willing to please. Amazing location and an easy walk to the beach and delicious local restaurants. Definitely recommend and will hopefully be revisiting soon.

The best part about this Airbnb is its proximity to the beach and restaurants. You’re a 3 min walk away from everything and roots cafe is right around the corner!

Could not have asked for a better place to stay in Nosara. Close to everything, including a short stroll to the beach, restaurants, cafés, hotels and bars. The home felt very safe and secure. The information about the area that the host provided was extremely helpful in putting together an itinerary. The outdoor patio was a highlight as a shady spot to enjoy time outdoors. I would stay here again.

This place is great! It is not that far from Samara, and it has a fence, so if travelling with dogs, that is a great advantage!

Airbnb is 10 min walk to the beach. It is very clean and well equipped. Even a washing machine is available. The wifi works great. The communication worked well. We were only bothered by the fact that there were a lot of flies in the room that we couldn't figure out due to the mosquito nets. We highly recommend!

David’s place was an absolute dream. I knew it would be but in person it is even better. The condo is spacious and clean, view is unmatched and feels like you have the beach to yourselves. David is a great host , easy to communicate with and very helpful in ensuring your stay is comfortable. The area is so quiet and peaceful we could not have picked a more perfect stay for our family . 100% recommend staying here.

This was our second stay at Condo Dahlia. We enjoyed it so much the first time we had to come back. The thing we love most about the condo is its location. It is away from the busy downtown and a short walk to the beach. The view from the condo is beautiful. The covered outdoor area is great for relaxing, we spend most of our time out there when at the Condo. It is especially great when it is raining. I love the town of Samara. I love watching all the dogs and horses roaming around. One day there were 5 horses roaming around the beach area as the sun was coming down. Just a magical place! If we ever come back to Samara this will be the place we stay again!

We stayed in the Condo for over a month and the place was a great location. The condo is well equipped for a young family and has everything you need. The host and manager are great at dealing with any issues and they actively try to solve any problems or request promptly. The A/C and fans was perfect for the climate and the family had no problems sleeping in the condo. The swimming pool is perfect for both younger and older children and they can be supervised comfortably from the Rancho. The laundry facilities work well and are big enough to accommodate a family wash when needed. A shop on the corner for most ingredients and cold drinks. The surrounding neighbours are so kind and engaging with us and the children and we often shared breakfast or drinks outside with them. The people here really do make the stay safe and more enjoyable. The wildlife in the immediate area is incredible from monkeys and iguanas to horses and coati’s all while having a coffee on the balcony. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Villas Las Ventanas! The condo was beautiful, spacious, and the amenities were all great! It is a ways out from the city life in Tamarindo, but the peacefulness and almost private beach access made it worth it. We ended up renting a car because it is pretty easy to get around there and we needed it to get back and forth to the other areas we wanted to go to. Our host Frances was always responsive when questions arose. The gate keepers at the condos were very helpful as well. Thank you for our wonderful trip!! Pura Vida - Denise & Laawrence

This airbnb was such a ridiculously lovely stay! A 15-minute walk into the little cute town, 10 minutes away from the beach, and the airbnb had everything you could wish for. The AC and the fan was so nice and I spent lots of afternoons dipping in the pool. The gym and grocery store are nearby and the wifi worked perfectly, even when the power would go out (which happens just for a few seconds usually!). I stayed for a month and had such a wonderful time. The hosts were both super responsive and have loads of great recommendations on their page and the people who live in the neighborhood are so kind. Samara is a little slice of heaven and this airbnb is part of what makes it so lovely!

Great apartment with spectacular views of Playa Samara. Lots of space and comfortable furniture and beds. Easy enough to get to beach down the path. We would stay here again for sure.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Vi’s place. We especially loved the beautiful property, being so close to the ocean and exploring the local restaurants and activities (thanks to the great recommendations from Vi). The area is a little more remote than we had expected but we liked that! It was quiet and peaceful. We were led astray by Google maps when we first arrived and would recommend using Waze instead. We were warmly welcomed to Vi’s place with a bottle of wine and some lovely fruit and snacks. We had a few issues the first night, but Vi promptly had her wonderful property manager take care of things for us. All in all we had a restful vacation and found Vi to be a gracious host. We hope to be back in the future!
