Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Pérez Zeledón

The house is new and the views are stunning. From every room, you have amazing views. We saw a ton of birds, tocans, blue morpho butterflies and monkeys from the house. I found myself sipping coffee in bed watching monkeys play outside the expansive windows. The pool was also a highlight, perfect size and refreshing after a day of excursions. Everything was as described. Getting out of the driveway is interesting as it is on a steep section of road. 4x4 recommended. The dirt road to the house is rather bumpy, so slow travel along that section. The home is in a gated community with a security guard posted 27/7 which was a must for us. The value of this home is outstanding! Don't hesitate to book!

Everything about this vacation was perfect. I have been a travel writer for 10 years and this was the best experience I’ve ever had. The house was the center of this trip and set the tone for an amazing and unforgettable experience. Oscar the concierge was professional and helpful - always cheerful, so kind and patient, and he helped with everything: setting up a zip line tour, stocking the kitchen, arranging a private chef, you name it, he was on it! Cris the chef became like family to us! We will stay in touch with him forever. He was so talented and went FAR above and beyond to make everything amazing - he checked to make sure we had ice, he did the dishes and even helped clean up - things that he didn’t need to do. He did it all just out of kindness and without even being asked. The views will blow your mind. The pool was perfect. We traveled with another couple and the setup was ideal: 2 private sides and a common area. I can’t say enough!

Great stay and was super clean in a beautiful area

Excellent location,close to everything

This is our second time staying at La Barcarola but our first time staying in this house. The property and surroundings are absolutely beautiful, with an almost private beach. I sat on the beach for nearly 30 minutes and saw only one other person walking. It is like a little piece of paradise. The caretakers are wonderful people who are always willing to help with whatever they can and my wife and I enjoyed learning from them about the area and the different ways that things are done in Costa Rica that my wife and I were not aware of. Deborah communicated incredibly well and gave good advice on what to expect when traveling there. We LOVE this place. We will DEFINITELY return for another stay and recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape the busy world. Only place on earth that I cried when leaving!!! (both times we stayed there)

Excellent place to visit and share as a family!!!

This place is absolute heaven! The view from the balcony is to die for and my children loved the pool. Everything was just perfect, the house is amazing and the decor is really stunning. We spent a month here and it was one of the best months of our lives. Dominicalito is out of this world - jungle and beach!!! My daughter went surfing everyday and there is local football for my son. The surrounding area means you can scuba dive, horse ride along the beach and there is a stunning waterfall 5 min walk. I ran on the beautiful beach everyday and the locals were just fabulous inviting us to the local Kareoke on the beach 🏖️ the host was so helpful and we had no problems as everything ran smoothly in the house. Security is so professional Nd checks everyone in and out. We didn’t have a car and found walking really invigorating - especially up the hill. If you love nature you couldn’t ask for more - watch the monkeys at breakfast from the balcony - thanks so much for this epic adventure ❤️

We had a great stay at Angelica's house during our visit to Uvita. The house is compact, but new and modern. The pool is clean and amazing especially the spa. The hot water worked well. Our only concern was the lack of air conditioning in the living room, but thankfully it wasn't hot at night.

Pema thanks for your hospitality and for an amazing vacation. Your place is better than the Airbnb description, and to stay there was the real Pura Vida experience. The view, the monkeys, the magic entrance trough the forest , etc. We'll love to stay at your place every time we visit Costa Rica!

Elizabeth and Mike are more than perfect hosts! They've helped us a lot and did so much more than they're supposed to do 😊 The accommodation is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, in a very nice quiet setting and close to the entrance to the Mont Chirripo park. They are very attentive, you will feel at home here. We recommend 1000%!

great place 5 minutes by car from marino ballena park

Lugar is the same as the photos, we felt right at home. Everything clean, tidy, a beautiful view and a very pleasant reception. Important to note that it is highly recommended to go in a 4x4. Although a 4x2 goes up, the unit is located in mountain and if it rains, access can be complicated. We go up in a 4x2 and Julio went well.

Niko and Nicola (and Mucho, the always friendly dog) were amazing hosts! From check-in to check-out, they were friendly, helpful and always lovely to interact with. The space is perfectly located next surf, yoga, and an amazing café with super friendly staff. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Probably the most beautiful place to stay on our trip through Costa Rica. We were able to spontaneously book an extra night and arrive a day earlier. Everything was clean, cozy bed, very well equipped kitchen and even a small Christmas tree surprised us. We felt very comfortable right away. The apartment was easy to find and check in was also easy. There is a very nice and large pool. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use it. We definitely recommend this apartment.

Talk about a place off grid and amazing views! such an epic spot to wake up to in the hills yet close by to towns down by the beach. Definitely would come back again & recommend this if you’re looking for some peace & quiet in nature!
