Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Pérez Zeledón

I was looking for an escape into the mountains and didn't have a lot of time (or preparation) for major hiking. Mirador Valle del General offered nature trails and that beautiful view of the valley which was just what I needed for peaceful contemplation - not to mention the restaurant offers a lovely menu and lots of hummingbirds come visit while you're sitting enjoying the view. This was just what I needed for a night away from the coast.

I don't know if it's the location, the house, or Rick himself that amazed us the most during our stay. The house is absolutely stunning. The house was so beautiful that we canceled activities to have more time to relax in the house. Rick is one of a kind! He is very knowledgeable about many things, but most of all his humble and easygoing nature is a true example of the Pura Vida life. We enjoyed the heated pool at night as we gazed at the stars. Walking through the garden and picking ripe fruits was one of my favorite activities. Taking a bath during sunset while overseeing the ocean and forest will be a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. We saw plenty of birds and even a monkey. We didn't have time for it, but there is also a beautiful river tucked in a few minutes from the property. Waking up to fresh coffee and a delicious breakfast made our last days in Costa Rica just perfect. I can't say enough about this place. Do yourself a favor and book now. You'll thank me later

We really enjoyed our stay at Jessica and Luis. Not only for the nice and quiet of the property, but also because of the good vibe and willingness of Jessica and her family. The property is very cute and located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Birds, monkeys, and the sea are part of the sight and constant sounds. The bungalow is very comfortable and has everything you need. And whatever you don't have, Jessica and Luis are always attentive to help with whatever you need!!

We felt very comfortable from the beginning. There is private access to the river. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night and could only explore the area a little. However, I can still highly recommend the place. The common area and the terrace are super cozy. I will definitely come back.

Stayed at Colette's place for 2 days. Unit is on the edge of the jungle so definitely expect a few insects to be found inside your unit. Private pool was amazing, The view of the beach is perfect! Worth mentioning that before booking the unit is in dominical... it is NOT. it is about a 15 min drive north of the town. Therefore, I would not recommend this unit unless you have a car.

Beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed and good recommendations from the host (visit la Cusinga for a drink or food and enjoy the beautiful view and the walking trails around the property!). If you have a 4x4 and want a more quiet stay, I’d recommend this place!

Lettika’s and Gijs’s B&B is a small piece of paradise. Beautifully landscaped, comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast. Two minute walk from the beach and they provide you with a hammock or beach matt. We saw two sloths and a white faced monkey came to visit in the garden. Swimming pool is a big plus! Lettika and her staff are super friendly and helpful. Lots to see and do in a vicinity of an hour. Highly recommend if you want to get away from daily stress/routine!

We were welcomed directly by a small monkey gang and a sloth upon arrival. We liked it so much that we even wanted to hang on for another night. Great people, great surroundings, great breakfast and a lot of coziness in one place. We will book again when we come to Matapalo!

A wonderful mountain getaway! The road is steep but paved, making access easy and secure. The bedroom was thoughtfully designed with everything I needed - a great hot shower and reliable air conditioning for comfort. The communal area offered beach views, perfect for enjoying coffee while watching birds and wildlife. The property was spotlessly clean, recently renovated and the neighborhood roads were great for long walks, with the beach less than a kilometer away. Its location between Uvita and Dominical made it easy to explore both towns. The hosts were incredibly gracious and accommodating, and the peaceful natural surroundings made it a truly relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

The villa is the most beautiful place I have ever been. The view is amazing! Patrick & Annie are very nice hosts and very accommodating. We felt at home from the start. Our children loved the dogs Rex & Zorro, they are very well behaved. We hoghly recommend this accommodation and would come back immediately.
