This home is a cool home. We loved our stay here and plan to stay here in the future. The view is incredible. Toucans like to set up in the evening on the large trees in the front of the home, hummingbirds feed on the flowering bushes, fruit trees everywhere. And the privacy of the home is very nice. And then Ana and her husband are both extremely hospitable and kind hosts. Even met an uncle and father and they were both very nice. They helped with any question I had and suggested things I wanted suggestions on. Funny enough, we made friends in town who had stayed at this house two months prior and they had nothing but good things to say about their stay here also. So, stay here, you won’t regret it.

Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.

The place is beautiful, away from everything and very quiet! :) We loved it, we would definitely come back!

Wow! That is the only word that can accurately describe our three nights here. The location was perfect...close to many delicious restaurants, beautiful beaches, and a well stocked supermarket. The space itself was just lovely. It was just the right size for myself, my husband, and our 12 month old son. The bathroom was spotless, the kitchen was well stocked, and the deck was AMAZING! We spent two afternoons just enjoying the outdoors watching the tropical birds, iguanas, and monkeys play in the trees. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Costa Rica!

Definitely the BEST value for money for any Uvita. Without hesitation. It is good to know that Uvita is filled with American tourists and that the rates are at the heights of their wallet! This Airbnb is definitely the best you can find on Uvita at this price! Congrats!!! Remember that the beach is a park and therefore access is for a fee! $6 anyway! Then the pool is welcome! Lovely place, highly recommended.

We had such an incredible stay here. Walking through an incredible garden by Marino Ballena National Park in the morning felt like the biggest treat. Listening to monkeys and macaws from the terrace was a total immersion in nature. I needed to walk to see Uvita Oasis’s pool, laundry room, veranda, outside seating areas, etc. Our cabin in the Uvita Oasis was a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. With excellent air conditioning and WiFi, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to be completely self-sufficient. Although there are various private parking areas in Uvita Oasis, the cabin had its own parking space well protected from the sun. Milena, our dedicated point of contact at Uvita Oasis, was exceptional. She swiftly arranged a day trip to Corcovado within a couple of hours and was always prompt in her responses, ensuring our needs were met. 100% recommend

they are extremely warm and pleasant.

Pastora was kind at all times, giving recommendations and always answering the questions that were asked. The area is very quiet and with a relaxing silence.

Our month-long stay at Ruben’s cabaña was magical. We loved the private, tranquil outdoor setting, surrounded by nature and beauty. The birds and wildlife were spectacular, walking around the neighborhood and surrounding area was breathtaking, the river is beautiful. The cabin itself had everything we needed, the kitchen is full of appliances, the bedroom was clean and comfortable, the shower was hot! And the living space on the balcony was dreamy, day and night. Don’t pass up the opportunity to spend time here, it’s a gem of a place!

If you are looking for an adventure this is your spot, it is an adventure just getting to the house, we were on dirt bikes and it was a challenge so do not think for a minute you will get there in a sedan. 4x4 is a MUST. Raquel and her Husband were waiting there when we arrived for a tour and instructions on how to use everything and answered all our questions about local activities and where we were allowed to ride our bikes, basically everywhere. They brought a tank of gas for the stove and a mini fridge for food. Raquel's mom made us an amazing home made dinner and delivered to our house. If you plan on doing any kind of fancy cooking yourselves bring some cooking utensils, they had the bare basics that worked for us. Raquel knows that this place could shock some people not ready for such a rustic house and openly offered another location to stay if we weren't comfortable staying here which was nice but this was exactly the adventure we were looking for.

This was the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world. Laura is the most generous and kind host. The moment I arrived, she planned the best Airbnb experience imaginable. Her property is a food forest, offering fresh fruits, eggs, and tilapia from the ponds. This is paradise. I spent time in the river, which was a deeply healing experience. I fell in love with my space. Everything about this experience was beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you, Laura, for your kindness. I’m so grateful and am already planning my next trip.

The setting for this home is very unique and beautiful. We enjoyed the sounds of the birds, the banana plants and coffee plants, as well as the amazingly beautiful sunrise.

What a beautiful slice of mountain paradise Charles’ cabin is. He was a great host, communicating effectively throughout. The place itself is very memorable, a rustic but handsome treehouse with a magical view of the surrounding areas. As another reviewer mentioned, couples may need to sleep separately in the two beds unless they’re comfortable cuddling all night, as the beds are not quite full double size. Also be aware the footpath access from the road is quite steep as you bring your stuff up. But these weren’t problems for us at all - it’s a really special place, would recommend to anyone.

my family and I have a really nice time, Ronald was very helpful, the place is close to the stors and restaurant, we walked to de Park ballena and visited a beautiful waterfalls.

Remarkably chill and comfortable! Lots of different spaces to watch beautiful views and vibes. I can't imagine a better place than this to hang. It is about 20 min up a steep gravel road so you probably want a car, We made it without 4*4 but no guarantee. We will be back!

The Peace Cabin is a charming place 40 minutes outside of San Isidro del General in a quiet residential neighborhood. It was a great getaway for my family and I--exploring a new area (Cerro de la Muerte)--and enjoying the cabin's namesake. The views are dramatic and dynamic. With such altitude one minute you're in the clouds and the next your gazing out over rainforested mountains, beautiful valleys, and the distant coastline all the way to the Osa peninsula. The sunsets were spectacular! Cristina is also a great host--super kind, helpful, and informative. We felt extremely welcomed when we arrived!

The cabin was great and really comfy. The AC was a big + as we were sleeping at 4 in the cabin. And everything was good and cool.

Nela&José place is amazing: the view and nature around, the cabin have everything you need, you could actually feel they have thought about every small detail, Jose was available for every question and answered immediately. we fall in love at this place and are grateful about the opportunity to stay in.

Cute little cabin, has everything you need. Got to see a couple monkeys from the deck during the day and occasionally you'd see fire flies blinking around at night. Host was helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

We had booked for two nights, we extended to four nights so we fell in love with this beautiful cabin. The home is located in a quiet location. Ronald, our neighbor host is adorable, helpful and has good advice. The cabin is well equipped, half inside, half outside, we could observe the hummingbirds on the small terrace. The beach is a 5-minute walk away and is beautiful (entrance fee as it is part of the Marino Ballena Natural Park). We didn't miss any sunrise and our awakenings with the howler monkeys were memorable. The activities in Uvita that I personally recommend are the whale and surfing tour. Go check out the small beaches like playa arco and ventanas. The sunset at Aracari Restaurant is amazing. In short, we really liked it, I recommend it.
