It was our third stay with Noah and Maria. Once again, top notch service and very happy to be able to call them friends at this point. If you’re staying in the area, it’s def worth staying with them.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jessica and Luis. Not only for the nice and quiet of the property, but also because of the good vibe and willingness of Jessica and her family. The property is very cute and located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Birds, monkeys, and the sea are part of the sight and constant sounds. The bungalow is very comfortable and has everything you need. And whatever you don't have, Jessica and Luis are always attentive to help with whatever you need!!

My partner and I had an amazing experience here. The accommodations are simple but plenty comfortable, and the property is incredible. The managers Tarky and Nicole showed us around the property (so much space, epic mountain views, so much food growing!), took us on a tour of the biological reserve next door (amazing organization, epic waterfalls and real jungle trails without tourists), and made us really good "comida tipica" for just a few bucks per meal. It was nice to have access to the kitchen, too. If you're looking for a quiet place to go deep with the land, experience the jungle/mountains and have a taste of the Costa Rican countryside, this is it. We also went home with a bag of coffee from the coffee plants outside our room and it's the best I've had in a long, long time!

15 min walk to the beach, felt safe, clean and the host Tim was great.

These host are top notch, humble, kind and very accommodating . They waited for us to arrive (later than we expected due to travel here) and greeted us so very pleasantly and welcoming. They offer a wonderful breakfast (for a little charge) and we’re so wonderful to allow our family to come and join us for the great food. Their hospitality is above most and we never felt like a bother if we asked them a question. They even offered us some chairs to use at the beach. We will definitely be sharing their info with others and hope to come back and stay with them again. It is worth the cost for sure. As we sat on our balcony we saw many birds and other beautiful jungle creatures. Highly recommend them and their beautiful facility.

Very relaxing! Fatima was great, and we loved the quiet location and animals!

Jim and Amy's place was absolutely stunning! The views around the home surpass even the photos. The home was fully stocked with everything you could need, and Jim and Amy were incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts. Despite ongoing construction in the area, it was very quiet during our stay with only the sounds of the ocean and animals. The bed was very comfortable, and the A/C worked efficiently and cooled the room in about 10 - 15 minutes. The location is very central to Dominical and Uvitas, and their recommendations were spot-on. They have a gate which made us feel safe and secure. One thing to note is that the property is accessed via stairs, which could be challenging for those with lots of luggage or mobility issues. Additionally, there are many stray dogs in the area, although they are friendly and well-behaved.If you have any concerns about dogs, it's something to keep in mind. Overall, we highly recommend staying here and would gladly return!

Lovely place and stay! Very beautiful home with wildlife everywhere - waking up to the sound of the river nearby and birds chirping was amazing. Even saw a few toucans! Aaron was very responsive as a host and made me feel right at home in Costa Rica with lots of great local recommendations that I couldn't find online - feel like I'm an Ojochal local now. Will absolutely be staying here again when I'm back in the area - 10 out of 10 would recommend!

rita was super nice and welcoming. the place has a nice little pool that the kids enjoyed very much. and sitting on the couch looking at all the greenery was great. the house has extra small things that helped, like usb splitters to charge all our phones (our appliances aren't with the local plug, so that helped a lot). the television is only in one room though. and can't be seen from the living space. if you decide on ojochal, i definitely recommend Rita's place. aside from that, about the location. it is quiet and pretty, but ojochal was a bit problematic for us. some water, and electricity cut offs (didn't have water for half a day), and the main bridge to ojochal sometimes gets swept away by the rain, only to be rebuilt in a few hours. there is another longer way around though in case that happens

Kristen’s place is beautiful! There are plenty of spots along her land that you can dip into the river. This was a perfect spot for our stay, we even added a night. It was comfortable and quiet. The shower was amazing. There are some beautiful hikes, not far and also great restaurants nearby. There’s so much magic in this area and having a place right by the river was the best. Although I didn’t meet Kristen, she was so helpful and communicated wonderfully during our stay. We thank you. We highly recommend you 🙏

This was a great place to be for a few days. The hosts there on the property were wonderful and wanted to accommodate our needs while there. It was a comfort that they were there. We did hear howler monkeys which was a fun treat and the pool was wonderful. Maria was very responsive by phone and was willing to work when we needed. The construction trucks and trips above the property were unfortunate but we didn’t let it bother us, it was still a good place to be.
