Great spot - a gem found! Not easy to find a great spot to stay in Cumberland, but now it is! Host was great to talk to, and made it easy for check in and check out. Super flexible with my needs and work schedule. The place feels like a country cabin inside! The wood work and decor and the fireplace - all fantastic! Super clean and fresh. So happy to chill on the couch with a throw blanket and watch basketball on the big screen with the fire going in the background. I will Be back to this spot and I highly recommend it to anybody looking for a stay in Cumberland or the Tri-Cities of Harlan County! Cheers! See you next time!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Maw's House! It looks just like the pictures. Amazing! I enjoyed the view out the kitchen sink and off the back deck. My husband lived and worked on that mountain when he was teenager and graduated from Lee High. He enjoyed reminiscing as he walked around the property. We both Ioved Maw's House. We would definitely stay again when we get to visit.

Beautiful landscape. Really enjoyed our stay. We walked in the fields and saw many deer. In the afternoon we laid in the hammock chairs and everything was silent except the birds.

This was the perfect place to stay on my trip to meet up with my sister. She was camping nearby and I got this cabin. The day before I was asked if I wanted a pack n play because I was bringing my baby and of course I said yes because it would be one less thing to pack. We had a long travel day and when we checked in I saw they set up the pack n play and put sheets on it for me! It was such a nice gesture and I felt it was so sweet. They also put out snacks for us and le croix in the fridge for me - it was like they knew us! The location was beautiful. From the porch we could hear the river, birds chirping, and the occasional train passing. We took their recommendation to go to natural tunnel park which was so fun and the kids loved it! I would definitely stay here again! Thank you guys!
